Can't fault the product, so far, so good. It's the surly and positively unhelpful delivery men and the grotesque quantity of packaging, almost impossible to get rid off, which is by far the worst aspect. They package the packaging, in consequence of which I have cardboard and hardboard dust all over my flat, fragmented polystyrene "crumbs" everywhere and a bill for £200 to clear up their mess. Never, ever again will I deal with this company. Sales? Excellent. After sales, awful, non existent. Stick to John Lewis.
The most appalling customer service in the known universe... Delivered the wrong wardrobe which has been blocking the front door for 3 weeks+ now.
No helpful responses at all to numerous emails. Forget phone calls - the misleadingly titled 'helpline' never answers. As for in-store queries? 'Not my problem' was the response.
These cowboys shouldn't be allowed to trade. Disgraceful, bordering on criminal. Avoid at all costs.
Well we specified a delivery date that we would both be home for and told them an absolute no for one particular date. They tried to deliver on the date we said absolutely no to. Then they made us wait another 2 weeks for our table and chairs. If only we knew what a pile of junk we had bought. The sales team were good to be fair but you've got to be when the product you sell is rubbish. We haven't complained as the customer service was challenging at best during the delivery process so we've bought a new one and the Oak Furniture Land one is waiting for the skip.
Think before you buy here don't waste your time and hard earned cash on this.
Ordered the brindle range a bookcase, coffee table, TV unit and storage box. On arrival the storage box hinge was broken lid would not close. Phone call to customer service they offered to knock £50 off! Eventually agreed to collect and sent new one after sending photos etc. The bookcase had paint off they suggested taking bottom drawer out for a colour match at Wickes! What a cheek! My partner then went out to new car it was damaged, huge dent across left side. Phone call again admitted it it was them from dash camera on van, cost £1600 and paid. Then to top it off furniture has cracks appearing all over it. The cost of furniture was €1400. Would not recommend or even deal with Oak furniture land again.
Nice bed but after 1 and half our bed had wood worm in the slats contacted oak land they very apologetic said they would send out replacement parts the delivery men came took the woodworm infested parts left me with a box went to put my bed back together and discovered it was the wrong part contacted oak land again now it's going to be a week before I get the new part have no bed to sleep on customer service has been absolutely diabolical we just get the same story being told manager will phone us back but never dose just get text messages with a delivery date for a week later
I spend ages chasing up my order and when it eventually arrived after numerous phone call the table was damaged.
They never ring you, they don't return phone calls - you virtually on your own.
Table returned - lesson learnt!
What a disappointing level of service from the company of this size!

Less than a year old - absolutely dreadful Suite - cushions all sagged - having to punch them every day only for them to collapse - had 2 people out already - first man said if we sit in the middle of the seat it's fine (it's a 4 seater) second man said all he could feel were wooden slats - he ordered one new cushion which is massive and I'm still waiting for them to fit it
Goodwood modular corner unit arrived in 4 different colours and feet missing on one unit that gouged the flooring
A complaint was raised straight away and photos provided.
Two furtherattempts were made to match a 5 module corner unit all were different batch numbers delivered, they now say cannot guarantee delivery of a colour batch match?.
I have cancelled the order
Despite a verbal commitment by one of their staff. Will now not take responsibility for the floor damage as, apparently I should have inspected it was fit for purpose before I laid it down in my living room.
I am escalating my complaint through ADS and will take them to court if necessary. Take my advice and shop elsewhere.
Took out extra insurance for pet damage eg cat scratches. Cat did scratch it so reported immediately, they took 3 weeks before they came out tried to tell me I didn't report it in time. First sofa frame was bent, 2nd sofa lacquer has cracked and peeled off headrest. Told it was the oil from my partner's hair, sofa is only 16 months old and in a house without children. Also told I over cleaned it! Every excuse under the sun!
Waited 16 weeks for my order to come only for it to be badly damaged. Returned and still waiting for my refund. Contacting customer service is a joke!

Absolutely disgusted by the lack of concern. The shop and salesmen were lovely and helpful. THEN this morning, day of delivery, I get a call from depot saying bed can be delivered but the mattress is unavailable and cant arrive until 15 May, today is 17 April, because although it looks like it is in stock to the shop, someone in warehouse inputted it in wrong and it isn't. So as our other bed and mattress was taken away yesterday to co-inside with todays delivery we now have nothing to sleep on. Depot lady, although nice just said sorry, shop says call customer services cos we are just a showroom, and as usual customer services are useless. Only suggestion we are given is wait or buy another mattress that can arrive sooner. In the meantime what are we to do sleep on the sofa. The least the could do is lend us the mattress from the shop of something, some compensation. NO NOTHING just a "well mate not our problem, do you want delivery or not". Will not be using again if they are so unreliable. 4 weeks they had to sort this, 4 weeks.
High Expectations sorely disappointed
Ordered 2 pieces online of furniture for bedroom. First thing the boxes arrived soaking wet as if they had been stored in wet/damp conditions. One piece of furniture had a chip on the front. Phoned customer service several times but sorely disappointed on outcome. Felt like I was unimportant and the whole experience stressed me out. I was recommended to try them but I would find it hard to recommend them myself.
I placed an order which cost me over £2,200, I have had to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery only to find that on day of delivery the dining room table is not available! I've received no phone call or email to explain. Customer Services were pretty useless where they said one thing but actually meant something else. I have to wait another two weeks before my table can be delivered. Not sure what I am meant to do whilst I am waiting! Useless
Absolutely shocking customer services. Please be aware that if something is faulty you are Hung out to dry and left to Sort it out yourself as all the shop will tell you to go on line and do this for yourself Will never put foot in there shops again.
I Don't blame the girls on the phone when you phone them as they are only telling you what they are told to say.
I went with my partner to Oak furniture land at 3 milestone Truro. On entry a cocky member of staff called out "Alright. Looking for anything in particular". I joked a reply as he stood there with hands in pockets. We looked around the store and he then shouted out "What are you looking for". He was very unprofessional and put us off spending any money in there. So I replied " we are in the wrong shop". He didn't like my reply by the expression on his face. We later looked at the reviews and we are glad we didn't buy from this company. Having plonker like him puts anyone off.
For the high cost, They have no stock, delivery dates are a joke and the service team are just taking the mick. If you can buy the products elsewhere it might be easier. The only one item we managed to get after an argument stated 'made in Vietnam' on the box. They do take the monies first, but do not intend to deliver the goods. I had to give them one star just to complete this review.
Ordered a side table, tv unit and sideboard back in august 2020, finally received the items yesterday 5/1/2021 after being delayed once already, unboxed to find 2 items in dreadful condition, tv unit had so many flaws it's unbelievable, the fact they have quality checked stickers on the back is a joke, clearly not quality checked! So so gutted after waiting all this time to receive this crap, never ever using oak furniture land again, appalling service.
Got a table and corner unit from Gateshead looks nothing like in shop poor quality wood and made in Vietnam won't replace gaps between joints sent pictures they say it's sap from trees one door on corner won't shut cracks in table legs finally got a call off them and offered £50 discount please please don't get anything from them
An absolute shambles of a company. They don't even deserve 1 star. They messed me about with delivery dates more than 6 times. The van even turned up at my door and then realised they didn't have my delivery.
Their customer service is the only saving grace, at the end of the day it's not their fault. However, with the amount of hassle due to the companies incompetence I expected a decent goodwill gesture to which they claim they already offered as much as they could.
Never had so much trouble with one company. I will be more relieved I never have to deal with such lack of proficiency from Oak Furniture than actually receiving my delivery at this point.
We ordered - and paid for - multiple pieces of furniture in September of last year and yet we're still awaiting delivery of the last item! Umpteen cancellations, apathetic staff, non-existent customer care. We've been fortunate that the quality of the goods was fine - but as for customer experience? Forget it! The shame is that I had to give them one star to place this review - there should be a special kind of review with negative stars for outfits like this!
Answer: They won't last long. The store managers are terrified that the stores will close as people use the internet for OFL products. Naturally there will be more internet complaints so the company will struggle. Avoid, unless you have lots of time to waste.
