I like Nordstrom but the App frequently fails. That's frustrating after spending time sorting through an order to have to call. I was happy to read today in a trade mag that Nordstrom's just hired some big tech geek to overall their app so they must know there is an issue. Also, the color representations on all the cosmetics are frequently off, it's even mentioned in the reviews. And probably like most women, I end up keeping this shade of slightly-wrong lipstick then mailing it back. But more and more, am turning to Neiman's because their app is much better. Am looking forward to seeing Nordstrom improve their online presence.
Place should be called "noodle-storm!" not Nordstrom seems as though a bunch of wet noodles are running the place!
I could go on about my story experience forever... lets just sum this all up here, I will never spent another penny with this company and I hope the file for bankruptcy! Would be a dream come true ;)
It was my first time purchasing from Nordstrom online, and while the website is great and beautiful, the operations seemed a mess! It took too long to receive my sweater, and was told that there were delays on the "courier end" as opposed to their own. Of course, not their fault, but perhaps they could've updated me more! Maybe in-store purchases will be different.
I always think Nordstrom is the best. I love their return policies and free alterations.
Granted, they will never be as good as custom clothes. But, the price certainly gives a lot of "bang for your buck".
I brought my 94 year old Mother to buy comfortable shoes. Our sales man would have rather shot himself than help us. He kept looking away from us and then when he did look at us, he seemed so annoyed.She ended up buying 2 different kinds of shoes, quite expensive.This was not the result of his sales techniques. He was arrogant, sloppy and very unprofessional.
Do not purchase from Nordstrom International, unless you are 100% sure of size!
I purchased 2 pairs of board shorts from Nordstrom and had them delivered to Australia.
They are my usual size (I have other shorts form the same manufacturer), however these shorts were too large.
I sent them back and was charged almost half the purchase price in return shipping fees.
Knowing this I would not recommend using Nordstrom to purchase within Australia. So many competitors offer free shipping for returns, regardless of the fact they are international retailers.
This is possibly in some small print somewhere that I should have read before purchasing so the charge could be legitimately stated on their website. I am just trying to provide advice to international customers that you will be charged if the product you receive is not right.
I've unfortunately had to call their customer service line 4-5 times in the last month and every time is worse. Unclear, no English, rude, and generally unhelpful people leave me with no idea what they're talking about and whether or not they can help me. I can't wait till my local opens up again so I never have to call them again and can at least interact face to face.
I got hired as a seasonal worker and management treats you terribly. I've been verbally and mentally abused since starting by my superior and their superior has decided that I'm the one to blame because I'm "not helping the customers out properly" (despite making lots of sales). No consequences for my superior's actions. Nordstrom claims it is an ethical and customer forward company, but that is not the case (both from the perspective of an employee and customer). Very disappointed in Nordstrom and I hope to not work at this company in the future.
My wife and I ware visiting Nordstrom for some shopping and noticed some very strange thing. While the whole world and especially our Country is dropping all the restrictions, Nordstrom went back to this totally ridiculous thing as wearing masks to all their employees. This is complete nonsense and total disrespect towards the customers. We have no pleasure at all to see faceless employees. I'm not going back to Nordstrom on till all these nonsense will end, these policies going against all local and even federal laws and regulations. All of us going everywhere without masks, traveling, going to concerts, churches etc. this against any common sense.
Over all Nordstrom is loosing the quality of the customer service focusing and following political winds. Vary sad, such a great company loosing it's grip over things don't matter.

I had several questions, one of which was date sensitive (learned that a note expires today and was unable to use it on the website to pay for items). At the beginning of the call, the recorded message said the wait time was 60 minutes; there was not opportunity for ask for a call-back. The entire time on hold, there were messages about every 30 sec saying to continue holding and someone would be with me "shortly." The call was answered after 1 hour 59 minutes. Once answered, the issue was dealt with easily (13 minutes).
While I realize Nordstrom has been busy, why not utilize employees that cannot work in stores in the call center. This is by far the worst experience I have had - even Amazon responds in less than 20 minutes. I won't order online again unless stores are open.

This is not the first time I have been notified that an item I ordered is not available. Whoever is in charge of this is not doing their job. The products are nice - when they have them but the overall experience of working with this company is not worth the aggravation. The same things can be found elsewhere along with the customer service you deserve with these prices. It seems they have not been able to bounce back since the shutdown. Sad

Was a little skeptical reading the reviews online, but ordered anyway! I bought a pair of Nike Air Force 1 shadows and they came in right on time & I LOVE them! Even during the virus and everything that's going on they delivered! 11/10, online tracking for the shipping was perfect as well!
As I live in a small town with very few good stores, Nordstrom is one of my favorite sites for many dresses. I've bought 3 dresses there so far. A little bit expensive sometimes but nice selection and good customer service.
They're well known for their customer service--and for good reason. Though they generally tend to be a bit pricier, they also often have phenomenal sales on items, slashing prices with deep discounts. It's worth looking into.
I bought my granddaughter a pair of UGG boots. Fast arrival. Exactly as pictured. User friendly website. Lower price than I had found elsewhere. Will definitely shop there again and would recommend them to family and friends.
You can find great deals under "sale"! Free and fast shipping and free returns with quick refunds if items don't fit. It doesn't get any better than this! Items are always great quality and true to the description. I've only ever returned 1 piece and the customer service representative was terrific. Nordstrom.com is really my favorite online store for clothing!
I have been helping this store survive for 2 decades or more and find some of these reviews ridiculous. I have absolutely loved them forever because of their top-notch customer service, selection, quality items, free delivery and hassle free return policy... until lately. They are now using Lasership, which is- in my opinion, the worst shipper ever! Unfortunately the closest Nordstrom location is 1.15 hrs away. I will travel, but there is no guarantee that I will find what I want in my size and color preference, so I order 80% online. Needless to say, I will be purchasing less if they continue to send Lasership to my home.
I've ordered from Nordstrom.com countless of times. Packages arrive on time with ample bubble wrap to protect my products. There are quite a few sales throughout the year and with their generous return policy and easily accessible customer service team, I tend to "buy first and think later." The site has a very clean interface that's easy to navigate and use. The quality and variety of clothing and beauty products are top notch. It would be nice if more of their products had more reviews but overall, I can't recommend this website enough.
Absolutely love these guys! Detailed product guides (This is one of their best features), terrific customer service, genuine prices, endless list of products... I can go on and on! Checkout process is a breeze and personally, I love having the option of including the custom fees during checkout. It ensures that there are no delays. Have never ever faced the need to return a product to them for reasons such as sizes, manufacturing defects, incorrect items, etc. I keep shopping with them regularly and will continue to do so.

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
