Boxes shipped to your house/US, carry cockroaches from foreign countries, not just amazon. I have seen them. But I do trust Amazon in their payment/credit card system. Whereas, other companies, expose/abuse your information. No proof of it, but you can feel it when you get scam email/phone call shortly after you place an order online. Amazon is good on that, at least.

Sitejabber, you guys seem to like negative reviews. Not all negative are true and/or taken out of context, and alternatively, hurts the business, but I'm not sure how can a site have totally true and/or be useful. You site does not explain a lot of your directives or operations. Such as, what is sort by "relevant" and why default to that sort (seems all negative is your relevant). Seems better to sort by newest. All in all, I still read the reviews and not take it to heart, necessarily.

not everything you can be taken as face value.

I appreciate joanns. The fabrics are high quality, lots of choices and totally supplied for the seamstress. Although, the coupons and discounts are difficult to navigate, you may not maximize your discounts, which can be significant. First of all, don't order online, do use their app, the worker will scan all available discounts. Take a moment to sort out all discounts. My bill rang up to $75, after discounts, $11. Back to the quality. Omg, hobby lobby's fabrics does not come close. If you know about fabric, joanns does not skip a beat. It all looks and feel the same, but it is not. Take for example lace trims, hobby lobby has it all made of polyester/rayon (falls apart, pill). By tradition, it is made of nylon, which is what joanns have, having same price as hobby lobby. So, if you want a traditional fabric store, don't knock it. Of all traditional stores going/gone, let's support this one, we already are seeing "ghost towns" as physical businesses disappear, so, joanns, you are appreciated.

stay positive. Don't order online.

I commend zillow to be the pioneer for putting real estate on the map of the online culture. Yeah, its not perfect, but what website is, and they change for the better as time goes by. I enjoy looking at homes, the interior, the time period, the structure, etc. you learn a lot. Yes, zillow is all about exposure and advertising, just like any other website, so, I say, to the people who say, they want specific details mentioned on their home, you can forget that. Zillow is nationwide. All information is gathered from public records/databases. They are also helping on the rental market on both ends, landlord and tenant, I say, zillow, hip, hip, hooray.

Tip for consumers:
if you are waiting for a response from them, have a little patience and be positive. They are not the bad guys.

I do like the website. It updates faster than zillow. But what is annoying is that once in a while they place a multi million dollar property in a bad area of town, with the given zip code is nowhere near. You go look at that zip code, and there it is. Did they want to up the comps (comparisons for the purpose of realtors and loans) for the bad area in doing this. In another area, in the mountains, they did a listing located in Mexico. Weird.

Tip for consumers:
other than that, movoto website is fast and to the point for useful info.

Sorry to see Sears go. I brought whirlpool washer and dryer. Delivery is 1 month and half out. Ok. The next week, Sears store closed down. No one to talk to. Potentially, going to have problems, so, I disputed the credit card charge until I have it arrive, credit card company was good on that. Sears was notified, and refunded me. Next week, my pair was delivered. Installed with expert technicians. The washer/dryer pair was perfect. Called the credit card co, that i don't dispute it. Two weeks later, Sears charged me the same amount that they refunded, which is ok. But buy whirlpool, not kenmore.

not sure if I would buy online.

With all the bad online reviews of other companies, I have had good experiences, and I am grateful, namely, ordering furniture online, very risky, right? I don't know if I got lucky, but I ordered a whole house of furniture/rugs from birch lane, without a hiccup. No damage, high quality, quick delivery, beautiful. All in the middle of the pandemic. Mind you, I could not get any of these items locally. It wasn't cheap, and if it needs more than simple assembly, I won't order it, to prevent potential problems. Birch lane, TY.

The shopping experience is great.

I feel like i can trust home depot. My last 3 orders online was perfect, mind you, they are big ticket items. They used a freight company that was equally dependable, not UPS (damaged items all the time), mind you. This freight company Estes-express, locally, communicates with buyer 100%. A live person. They are not afraid to talk to customer bc they do 100% job. Home depot has no problems in refunds/change your mind, neither. This is not fake review neither.

Tip for consumers:
They don't do bad business like a big bad wolf.

This is company that make Amazon profit and look good. UPS. I'm not going to write a page to waste time. Half of their delivery has a problem. Delivered to wrong address. The box looks like a bulldog mauled it. The bottom of box had no bottom. The box is open and not sealed back, or sealed back but a child did it. Have you noticed that, they hope they dont see the homeowner at the door, hit and run, so, they can't take package back. The vendor needs to give customer a choice of delivery company. UPS is a joke.

Tip for consumers:
whoever want to start a delivery company, please run it better than UPS.

I feel sad to hear all the negative reviews, bc, i regarded this company on high esteem. I hope the company can amend all the wrongs to make things right. I hope only bc we had a crazy year of the pandemic that fowled up all processes. I also had a bad experience with them in regards to backorder, refund, shipped already, damaged, charged, half shipped, credit card dispute (only way to force a refund, then freeze your credit card acct), drop ship items, and on and on and on... i dont know to commit suicide or feel sorry my favorite store has become parasitic.

Tip for consumers:
Wait to see if company store clean up their act after picking up from the pandemic. Shipping companies need to be held accountable.
