Received my Galaxy phone case- I ordered the wrong size, returned it and got a replacement sent out the day it arrived with them.
After 3 months(precisely 3 months tomorrow) of waiting for my item, Nigel oHara have finally admitted that the item will not be back in stock. Right from the start I was told multiple times that it would be in 'within the coming days'. After emails back and forth I did not want to cancel my order as I could almost guarantee if I did it would suddenly become available. After weeks of waiting I requested a partial refund as by this time I had missed the occasion that I had bought the item as a gift for, but I was told no discount could be given at all. I finally received an email this evening telling me I will not receive my item, not even mentioning the make up that I bought at the same time which has been I stock the whole time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY. Even when I asked that my message be passed on to the management team, that request was ignored. The most untrustworthy, unhelpful website I'm sure I will ever come across and they are not worth wasting your time over for an order you may never receive. I will be making sure that my family and friends will never shop on this website and I would advise that you don't either. And yes, you did read the time scale correctly. 3 months!
Placed an order for item at advertised price, money was debited from my account, the next day Inget a call saying the price was a mistake and asking me to pay an extra £360 on top of my £1199. 40, I was concerned but was assured my laptop would be despatched immediately! I paid this, my laptop was then sent direct from the supplier to me so no invoice was attached. A few months went by and I decided to upgrade my PC, I found a few parts were cheaper on Nigelohara.com so placed my orders, I got my GPU in the estimated delivery time, but only after chasing them about it! My RAM however was ordered on the 08/10/15 with delivery date for 16th-22nd October, it never arrived, was told it would be with me direct from supplier again like my other orders by Weds 28th Oct, still nothing, apparently it has been despatched 2 days ago by recorded delivery (which usually takes 1-2 days) and still nothing. I asked because my orders had come direct I never got my invoices, they eventually (after 4 requests) sent them to me, I noticed a discrepancy regarding the invoice for the Laptop and the 'extra' payment not showing. I immediately contacted my bank who referred me to Actionfraud.police.uk because I transferred the money willingly, having emailed nigelohara twice about this I contacted actionfraud who have referred me to trading standards! I am now going to give nigelohara's one more day to respond before I speak to trading standards and the police for fraudulently deceiving me into transferring extra money when I bought the item at the advertised price which is the same price as the invoice displays and does NOT include this extra payment anywhere!
BEWARE: Nigel O'Hara only stock about 5% of their catalogue. Items marked as "Available" or "Available to order" mean they will order from the manufacturer (why two status's for the same thing? Probably to make things misleading, they like doing this). It's now been 12 days since I ordered, no-sign of delivery, infact the order status still says "processing", I feel 12+ days to get stock from a manufacturer which is marked as "available" just isn't acceptable in 2015.
They have "LIVE SUPPORT"! Although what this really means is you can send an email through an online form which they will respond to in around 1-2hrs (if your lucky), again very misleading and is far from what the title suggests. Keep in mind this is a company that strives to hide there phone number, there's several places on the website it says you can call them, but there is no number anywhere on their website, alarm bells ringing yet?
Customer Service. I've had two reply's using the "live support" system, both were very vague, trying to avoid the point, misdirect the conversation, push the blame, of no help whatsoever. Apparently it was my fault I didn't understand it takes 12+ days for them to get stock marked as "available" from their manufacturer, although if you read reviews 99% of negative ones are based on 1. Delivery time, (so I'm obviously not alone here) 2. Poor customer servers & 3... what I'm about to come to now.
Refunds! Now I can't comment on this yet, because I'm not calling them asking for a refund until tomorrow (its Sunday as I write this). However as I've already experienced problem 1&2 of what most negative reviews concern, it wont surprise me if getting my money back is also going to be a problem. Story's of 20-30+ days are pretty frequent in the negative review section, I guess time will tell...
EDIT: Theres also 2 more things i forgot to mention. Firstly, Nigel O'Hara has been kicked off of paypal. Secondly, they state in several places they won't take payment until your item is dispatched, this is an outright lie. BEWARE!
My experience has been very similar to others who have left bad reviews here. I ordered from their website 2 weeks ago now, the money was taken immediately and I have still yet to receive any kind of email confirmation. If I log in to their site it still says "pending".
Tried ringing and ringing in office hours. No reply. Have raised multiple support emails through their website, no reply. When I finally (after about 100 times trying) got through to them on the phone I had exactly the same experience as others here: "We've had to order it directly from the supplier, we don't know when it will arrive but it will be soon". Still nothing. They even then had the cheek to tell me that when it does arrive at their depot it will take a further 5 days to get to me unless I paid them more money for faster delivery.
This site is an absolute scam and would highly recommend people to avoid them like the plague. My suspicion is that many of the items for sale (and apparently available) on their website aren't actually in their possession and they are just stalling for time whilst they try to source it. Have literally never had any experience like this with any other online retailer, they are a complete joke. All I want is some honesty as to when I can expect my item and some form of response/confirmation of my order from them. This is absolutely standard for any other retailer. I have now got to the point where I am considering contacting trading standards to have them investigate the company, as with no confirmation of any kind to my email, and no means of readily contacting them, I am starting to wonder if they have simply taken my money and done a runner.
Don't get me wrong, my service was incredible. However it seems like theres a pattern in that only the in-stock items get the service I received.
Ordered a cooling fan last monday and it arrived today. A bit longer than I had hoped but a great price.
UPDATE! YOU WILL BE PLEASED TO KNOW THAT NIGEL O'HARA HAS NOW GONE! FORCED TO CLOSE BY THE MYRIAD OF COMPLAINTS AND BAD PRACTISE! AND CHARGED BY CRAIGAVON MAGISTRATES FOR MULTIPLE OFFENCES! GOOD RIDDANCE!
Seriously Nigel O'hara, This is NOT the way to run a business keeping customers waiting ridiculous amounts of time and then fobbing them off!
I waited one month to to get the above order and when it came it was incomplete! Not only that but another identical order came together with the original order and guess what? Yep that was also incomplete! I ordered
2 x Evoke F4 With Bluetooth & Pure Chargepak F1 & Evoke F4 Aux Speaker
QUICKLINX CODE: *******
No Speakers and NO Batteries!
AND countless amount of contact with company from my end and extremely poor customer service from their end!
So the bottom line here is that if I do not get a satisfactory response from them real quick, I will start with BBC Watchdog... among others that I will also contact and if you have had a similar experience I recommend that you do the same! Too many good trusting folk on here experiencing a similar run around with Nigel O'hara and this is imply nowhere remotely good enough... I have wasted days and days waiting for phone calls that never came and relying on false promises! I for one will simply not stand for it and advise you all to do the same! :(
Website was easy to use, delivery was quick and product was as described. Nothing more you could ask for really.
I didn't receive my dispatch email but received my item. I wonder if my order had of been outstanding for a while would I have been left in the dark?
You can see the reviews are mixed erring on terrible. My experience is another one to add to the zero rating pile. I ordered an item, which was not in stock at the time. After some time I enquired about when the item would arrive I received a response, which on the face of it seemed quite personal and made it seem like they were making an effort. Unbeknownst to me it was the same generic response that everyone with uncomplimentary reviews had received. Something about working hard with the supplier to get the item and prioritising your order. Pish posh.
So after a month and a half of frustration and holding out for the item on the back of their responses I discovered, by reading reviews such as mine, that I was infact never going to receive the item (well at least not before it became obsolete as I ordered a walker for my baby). I also noted even getting a refund was going to be touch and go. Not to be defeated I embarked on my quest for a refund armed with the advice of previous reviewers. I knew full well that they would 'pass on the request to the finance team who would get back to me'. I allowed them the 14 calendar day grace period from the date of my request (through their awful customer support portal) to receive the refund. Needless to say the refund nor contact from the finance department was forthcoming so I immediately escalated it as a dispute through paypal and hey presto they issued the refund immediately! Make sure you pay via PayPal or a credit card, which will reimbursue you and pursue the refund on your behalf otherwise you may never see the item or your money again. You've been warned (if you were lucky enough to read these reviews before you made the purchase)

Ordered a Citizen Watch and it arrived fairly promptly. The price was the best around and the quality of the watch was fantastic.
Prompt delivery and very reasonable prices. Much less than all of the high street retailers. Would definitely buy again.
The television that I order was discontinued so they provided me with a newer, better one for no extra cost.
Ordered a monitor from this company, really wish I hadn't.
Before ordering I checked the online reviews and they seemed legit and they took PayPal (though only after I brought it to the attention of their Customer Service team that the option to pay via PayPal was missing from their site).
I ordered the monitor on the 1st of July. On the 5th I queried the status of the order as it was 'Dropshipped', a status that wasn't listed on their site. If I hadn't noticed this, who knows how long I would've waited before they would've contacted me.
They initially claimed the monitor had been discontinued, however they had re-listed it on their site using the part number instead of the model number, at a price more than 50% higher than I had paid.
When I queried the fact that the monitor clearly wasn't discontinued and that they had simply put it on their site under a different name, I was told that it was due to an issue with their supplier but they would chase the matter up for me the next day the supplier was open.
Many days later, I had to prompt them to find out what was happening to eventually be told that 'the best price they could offer' was 25% higher than I had paid.
I'm now awaiting a refund, a process that is taking far longer than is acceptable - they were able to receive my money instantly via PayPal but cannot refund it for 5-7 working days.
TL; DR - liars, cheats, swindlers - can't trust the prices they advertise - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY
I ordered a watch from nigel o hara jewellers internet site on 23rd march for my wife's birthday that was on 14th april. The item showed as being in stock and the £140 was taken from my bank account on 24th march. Prior to ordering i had shopped around on the internet and this company were selling it £20 cheaper that the watch shop.
After about a week i received an email saying that the watch was not in stock and that they were awaiting more from their supplier. The company has no customer service. If you ring the telephone no online it goes through to their sales team who will not help or put you through to anyone. They informed me several times that to speak to customer service you had to fill in a support ticket online I did this several times and the company could not tell me when the watch i had ordered would arrive. Two occasions they offered me a different make of watch as an alternative. On 8th Apri i asked a manager to ring me and he did. He said he did not know if they would get stock of the watch i had ordered and could only offer me a cheap alternative so i requested a refund which i was told i would get back with 5 working days. The next day i paid £20 more and got it within 24 hours from the watchshop.com.
From 8th april to 12th may i chased my refund and it was a nightmare. I sent over 15 emails to the company and they give me several false dates when the money would be returned. Luckily i paid through paypal and raised a dispute with them. Surprisingly that got the attention of nigel o'hara jewellers and they refunded me within 24 hours!
I wish i had read other reviews before i placed an order with them. They gave me the worst customer service experience of a lifetime. They are happy to take your money for goods they do not have in stock despite saying they are in stock when you order. If you want a refund they will hold your money in their bank account for over 35 days. AVOID THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Bought an LG urbane watch. I t was in-stock so it was received fairly quickly.
Placed an order on the 29th January. They failed to tell me that one item wasn't actually in stock. I went away, after 10days was surprised to see the items hadn't arrived still, called them and enquired. Told my second item was being held back until the other became available. There couldn't tell me when this would be, I had to email. So began a painfully slow and unhelpful process of emailing and chasing the order, and hearing back a few sentences of "thank you of your patience..." on average 2-3 days later. They wouldn't dispatch the item in stock nearly a month later, because they refused to pay for the postage of two items. They then finally told me that the second item was to be no longer supplied by the manufacturer, so they would go ahead and ship my first item. This was one month later from initially ordering. It then took another week for them to notify me that unfortunately the one item they were able to send to me - had in fact been sent to the wrong address! At this point, I admitted defeat to their complete incompetence, and asked for a full refund. (I did ask that as compensation they still send me said item if and when they actually got their s*** together, however this request was instead replaced with a £5 gift card offer. Which I had previously been given upon check out anyhow. Because I'm really going to be rushing back to using their service again.)
And now I've entered the process of refund, which when I've asked if somebody can tell me exactly when my money will be returned, I am met with short and utterly vague response of "they'll email you when it's processed". I feel like I should being getting some form of interest for my money that has been sat in their pockets all this time!
Such a painful, incredible waste of time, embarrassing lack of customer service and poor communication. Not only have I had to constantly chase this, but they had no problem taking my money from me having false advertised products that weren't in stock. I could have bought these 10 times over, at an equal discount elsewhere. I would strongly advise searching around the web for other deals before using this company - approach at your own peril!

Answer: Best thing to do is contact your bank or credit card company and they will get you a refund via the charge back guarantee scheme. The online business has closed down I understand.
Answer: Sorry mate this normal for this joke of a company. They don't answer the phone due to so many people in the same situation as your self. I think I got hold of them once in 30 attempts and was told they would refund me but that never happened. Watchdog needs to investigate these mugs then we will all get refunds.
Answer: Hi I had the same message plastered across my web account last night 5th Nov. Have they gone bust? I have contacted NI Consumerline to complain, suggest everyone who are owed do the same PJK
Answer: I have had this same issue I have instructed my bank to deal on my behalf and have received this message today Dear Customer, Due to unforeseen circumstances the JRN Retail Group, trading as Nigel O’Hara, will not be able to fulfil your order or provide you directly with a refund. Please do not panic, as you will be able to obtain a full refund via the method of payment used to complete your purchase on our website. Simply contact the bank or credit card used for your purchase, then ask them to initiate a chargeback for the transaction. This process will see the money returned to you in full. We wish to sincerely apologise for the obvious inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any further customer support or refund solutions.
Answer: Simple answer pal is no order no refund you need to contact your bank credit card as nigel ohara is a con artist
Answer: I have also been ripped off by this scam site I went to my bank and have logged a complaint with them
Answer: I have. But I bought using PayPal and so used their services to obtain my refund. That was on the 12/09/2015 I shall never ever use them again. I don't care if their prices appear cheaper than the rest
