I bought a Kate Spade prescription eyeglass from Costco 4 months ago. Costco only covers Manufacturers' defects and only within 30 days of purchase. KS customer service have effectively said they do not provide a warranty on the eyeglasses sold through Costco. Currently, on my fourth call with customer service. They lost my bag that I returned via the store I bought it from. It's been over three weeks that I've been waiting for the refund. I get a different story from them every time I call. One customer service agent assured me I'd be getting a refund by today. Still nothing. Are they going to pay for the purchase interest on my VISA bill? NO. Never shopping there again. Not worth the hassle or the price point.
I am very disappoint. I purchase 3 items. I were returned 2 items on September-2022 and I was told that they sent out gift card on October 2022 but I never received it. I called Kate spate more than ten times since October 2022 finally they credited back to my card one item only on December 2022. I call to inquire that they still owned me one more item. The Kate spate supervisor mentioned that they change the new system and less workers. But that's not a reason and unacceptable to delay my refund for several months. As today January 2023 I still didn't receive my one item credit.
It was my second time to purchase an item from them online. First time was ok. But I had to return the card wallet cos the stitching was bad. Till now, almost a month and I havent got my refund yet. Not worth my time and money. Cos I had to chat/email them about the item, return it and the refund etc. The price was a ripped off too esp if you're in canada. They wont show you the full price, only the estimate amount even at check out. It will just deduct from your account. You wont even get a full refund cos they said usd is lower which is the opposite when you purchased the item. Pls dont buy online! Bad experience.
I bought a purse in January of this year and the purse strap broke from the stitching after three months. I have emailed customer service multiple times with either no response or telling me to go into a store for help. The one time I go into a store for help the tell me to call customer care because when I bought my purse the cashier never recorded my purchase with my email. My next step was calling their customer service, but you can't do that either! You sit on hold forever and when someone finally answers they say nothing and hang up on you. The one time someone actually answered he told me to go back in store to get help and when I told him I was told to call customer care he said he would find my emails and call me back within an hour. Guess what... No call! My emails also will get blocked sometimes for their customer care. This company is awful, their quality sucks, their workers suck, just save your money and go elsewhere.
I ordered a bag on final sale from the official website, and had seen this bag in store. Received it quickly via international shipping but was horrified to find a USED BAG in the box! Not kidding! Large pen, ink and makeup marks throughout the inside, faded logo and blackish smear on back where bags tend to rub against jeans and stain. Final sale so can't return. Disgusting!
Bought a large tote 1 yr 3 months ago. Handles coming apart and fraying. Store said they would not replace but I could send it in and get an estimate for my cost to fix. Really! The purse is only a year old and was not used everyday. Wrote corporate and they said the same thing. 2 of my friends have the same purse with the same problem. 1 could return since it was under a year. Its obviously a defect in the product, workmanship. Will never buy another Kate spade product.
Same issue as Lynda S! I placed an order in and received no order number or email. After clicking the submission button the following page errors out... yet money was taken from my credit card.
Online chat representative said no order was ever placed!

This site is an obsession that has emptied my bank account too often. I have found some of the most unique bags I purchased at any price. No longer owned by spade and now part of Coach which is no longer Coach but tapestry. What will become of the styles has yet to be seen. I shopped this year and got many great unique items at a sale price. Very good customer service in the stores, and the online tries to be just as good. This is why I keep coming back.
Really poor experience with this site, expected more. Ordered a birthday present for my wife and selected 2 day shipping. Called them on the day that it was supposed to be ordered for a status, they said, oh it was shipped standard sorry, here's a refund. And then I received a notification that it had been shipped just then, so clearly they forgot. And, they still sent it standard! It's been a week, still don't have the item I ordered, no idea what's going on with it. Worst experience ever ordering from a brand with this kind of recognition. Stay away is right.
Never experienced such horrible customer service. Ordered dec 2,2019 was supposed to be here by dec 13,2019. The tracking didn't even work but estimated showed dec 13. Called them and they sounded like they didn't even care. Gave me a run around and said we will get back to you. A joke that i even paid for faster shipping and i needed this by a certain date.
I have read the reviews and it seems like a lot of people are whining over minor stuff. I am shocked that some people are complaining for things that were their own fault! Just stop!
I did purchase my 1st Kate Spade bag back in February of this year and a couple weeks ago, I noticed that the rubber-type edging on the handles started pulling apart. I contacted Customer Service immediately via email, sent them photos, proof of purchase and style number of my bag. Within 2 days, I got a response from someone named Erica and she was most helpful! I was able to get a replacement purse (not the same purse but same value). It is being shipped to me. But overall the company backed their warranty and the Customer Service was outstanding! I do love the quality of the purse! It is just the handle finishing edge, I don't think it's catastrophic! The material is durable and wipes clean with a wet cloth. The overall quality is outstanding! I highly recommend Kate Spade Purses!
I called because I encountered difficulty placing an order while traveling abroad. The service representative, Danielle, was genuinely sweet and worked with me to get the item ordered. Very pleasant and proactive.
When you tried to return the items you purchased in the store, their system was only willing to give half of your money and insisted that other half would be paid in merchandise card. Their sale manager made you wait for about 45 minutes, then saying you were causing trouble for them. How lovely! Don't shop there if you don't want this to be your experience. I returned the couple thousands dollars merchandise I purchased. Don't see any reason my money should contribute to their profits.
Ordered my first large handbag online on cyber Monday. The savings were 60% which I was very happy about. The bag arrived beautifully gift wrapped with a gorgeous cloth bag for storage. So happy with this purchase. Would buy online again!
Kate spade has cancelled my order for no reason for the THIRD time! HORRIBLE website! I was really looking forward to the items I had ordered. This is a real bummer. They could at least give me a reason, but they're not answering my emails. Never again
Don't buy unless you have seen and touched the item! KSNY is concerned whether or not you receive your online oder, they don't care if you're satisfied with your online purchase! Ask Austin in customer service!
I purchased a large brief case a year ago. After just 6 months the stitching started to come out. I hardly ever carried the bag, so I checked into getting it repaired and found out I will have to send it to a repair shop in NJ to get it fixed. Too much trouble and expense. Bag is beautiful but I won't purchase any more Kate Spade products due to poor quality/workmanship.
I received a purse as a gift and in last than a year the strap broke. I provided documentation and was told the purse would be covered under warranty I just needed to send back. I never received the "label" that customer service says they were sending to me to return the product even after multiple emails back and forth over two weeks. Save yourself a headache and buy something that's made to last. Kate Spade products aren't worth the headache or the money.

Answer: Good luck with that! Once they make a sale that's it. Good luck getting in touch with a person. The brick and mortar store maybe easier to deal with, but the website is the worst. Don't do business with these guys online
