Worst customer service
December 11, 2021

Sent me an incorrect order for someone in Portland, Oregon. Purchased the order at 40% off. They asked that I return the items and could not fulfill my order and to await a refund in a month when I returned the other person's order plus a coupon for 20% off my next order. Cost me time and ruined my Christmas!

Placed an order on December 12th for a Christmas gift under the guise that it would be delivered in 3-6 business days. After a week in "processing" status and numerous calls, have now learned that the estimated shipping date is January 2/2017! Merry Christmas!

Ordered a purse and wallet, realized they did not match, just after placing the order I called them to cancel it. They said it was too late. Now I can't return it because it was on sale, not on clearance mind you just on-sale. This is fraud in my opinion. They say 30 day return policy. And don't live up to it.

Garbage

I ordered a LEATHER cell phone case. I ordered from a reputable store. Used literally 3 days and the trim started separating. Called Kate spade and was told unless you order directly from Kate spade corp there is no warranty! Really! I told him you can tell if the product is a fake and he didn't want to hear it. Then CLICK!

Ordered $3K of items on Black Friday. Out of like 25,4 were missing. I call. I'm told it's not their problem because I used a third party address — aka Fetch. Which I'm required to use by my building. Wtf. They point me to some one line statement on their site buried on a page nowhere near checkout that says they don't shop to third party addresses. I told them well they did so how does that statement apply…

This was over $500 worth of items they stole from me and refused to even look into all because I had to deliver to Fetch. I'm a lawyer. Nowhere did it say they disclaim liability for such shipments. Nowhere on checkout did it flag third party address or provide any warning.

Garbage

Kate spade is the absolute worst. The quality stinks. Everything peels within a month. Coach is a 100% times better. Which is why my money goes to them. I'm not going to start with the return policies. Lol they are a joke. They will tell you ohh sorry that's not covered. After spending alot of money. Coach on the other hand. No questions asked. They search you up on the system and before you know it. Some happy lady comes out with a band new anything. Learn kate spade. LEARN. That's caliber.

Ordered my bag through Kate Spade website and selected the gift option and received it in a plain brown box. I asked others who ordered the same day in my office if they got a gift box they said yes. So I reached out to there customer service and got Mario agent # ******* who said that order was already placed and he could do nothing. I asked what my options where to get one he replied " The only time you can add a box is in shipping page " which I already did the first time. Bag I received was fine but overall experience was terrible and customer service is garbage. WiIl not order from them ever again

I placed my order a d it's been 7 days it's showing label created. REALLY? Why you will not ship it? It should have arrived by now and still sitting at their warehouse.

I returned a bracelet I received for Christmas and requested an e-giftcard. After waiting a month, I checked on it and was told they credited the original payment method. So I have no replacement gift. Merry Christmas to me... not!

I love their stuff but their customer service is horrible! I ordered a bag and a necklace. The necklace was apparently not in stock so they couldn't fill that part of the order. Then the bag went on sale literally two days later. So I called to see if they can do a price adjustment like all normal companies. It took 20 minutes of being on hold and the rep had no idea what to do. Finally I requested to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager. He then calls me back and said "I know what you mean now and the price adjustment will be given".

It's been a week and so far no price adjustment has shown up but I was charged in full.

I just called then back to follow up and was just told there's no price adjustment being given and they won't do it now.

What?! They obviously don't care at all about their clients. At this point, I'm so frustrated by the incompetence and waste of my time. I'm returning the bag and not dealing with them anymore.

Placed and 2 days later got a "order cancelled" email with absolutely no explanation. No one in their customer service could tell me why it was happening, my bank said everything on their end is fine. Placed it again with their representatives on the phone and 2 days later got the same cancelled order email. This is the worst customer experience. At this point I never want to do business with them again, but it was definitely disappointing considering I was excited about the dresses when I ordered them.

Kate Spade is a horribly run business. Take orders on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and then can't ship items. Still continue to promote sales, take orders when they know they can't support the volumes. Placed and order on 12/2 they cancel the item on 12/11 only for me to go online and I can order the exact same thing. Customer Service is a joke, they can't do anything and tell me the bag is out of stock with I am looking at my computer and the item is in my 'bag' waiting for me to check out. They are totally full of sh*t. I will never purchase Kate Spade again. They have lost a long and valuable customer. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Kate Spade. Couldn't wear them in the middle of winter in Montana. First time I go to lace them up, they ripped. I called and they said you are out of luck, too long since your purchase was made (by only 2 weeks). They did not offer to repair nor replace them. I will never buy Kate Spade products again.

Will not cancel an order
February 9, 2020

I ordered on a Saturday - I called within 5 minutes after ordering and that could not cancel. The first excuse was the transaction was not loaded yet. I called back and said was too late already in shipping on a saturday. She would email and try to stop. What a ridiculous excuse. The transaction was in pending and they can not ship out til monday. Big scam. I will never bad from them again.

Horrible

I would not even give one star if I did not have to! My husband bought me a $300+ bag for my birthday and was told it was all leather. It was plastic and fell apart after a few times of using it! The handles are crap, both the hand ones and the shoulder one. Called customer service, what a wasted of time. Spent so much time on hold, told to take pictures and send them in, which we did twice. They couldn't find the pictures? Every time we called customer service we were told they would get back to us, NEVER did. Just horrible! Please do not waste your money with this company. There are many other companies out there, who care and are helpful!

Website is a disaster!

Do not order online for their products. Their big 'special sale' is a rip-off. They take the money, then the website goes to 'error 404' and there is no confirmation number, and no proof of order... but the money is taken. Spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get answers! They have no order for me and yet I am out my money. My bank is currently filing a 'fraud claim' against Kate Spade because there is proof KS took the money from the account they say there is no order! Worst website I have ever used!

Ordered two items on-line and they were immediately labeled as shipped. After a week I checked with the carrier and they had never received the items for shipping. I contacted Kate Spade and after numerous calls and getting a lot of run around, I was told the items are out of stock. I requested a refund. I was told it would take 48 hours to process and 3-5 business days for the credit. I called back 3 different times and got the same answer over a 3 week period. It has now been well over a month and still now refund. I have been forced to claim FRAUD and ask PayPal to force a refund of my money. This is the most dishonest process I have ever seen. Clearly no intention of returning my money on items I never received. Stay Away from this company.

Not even worth a star!

Do yourself a favor and do not order from here! I ordered a bracelet and they lost my packet. Customer service is a joke! They literally will lie to you to get rid of you. Long story short, my bracelet that they send out was broken. It has been a month since I shipped the order back and no refund.

Recently I prurchased five items from the online sale, and one product was over sold. They sent me an email asking if I would like a similar product instead. After several messages later they stated it's no longer available even though they asked me for further details. They could've simply stated all the products were no longer available instead of wasting my time.

I have ordered an item and after a couple of days the order status did not change from "processing order". I called customer service and they told that it will take at least a week to ship the item. I asked to cancel the order but I was told that it is impossible due to "how fast things are going". What a terrible service!
