While shopping online to take advantage of a "50% discount" offer, I started noticing that their original prices seemed more than I remembered paying. Sure enough when I looked at the current catalog, the prices for the same items were higher. The same items had slightly different style #s, so I guess they can say they aren't the same items. I couldn't find anything that actually was sold for the "original price". When I read their disclaimers, I see that everything is worded vey carefully to protect themselves. I prefer to do business with ethical people, so I will not shop with them again.
This company is a complete ripoff!... I placed an order 4. 13. 21... received 1 of my 2 items... called 2 weeks ago to check on the backordered item... was told it was in process... I asked them to stop the shipment and was told they could not once it was in process... as of today 5. 26. 21 still has not receive my shipment... called again to ask them to not ship the item and was told they could not stop the shipment... how can it be still in process from 2 weeks ago and I have yet to received my item... steer clear of this business!
Received order from JL. No invoice or return label included in pkg. Called for return label. Response to phone calls was "we are not taking calls at this time, please try back later". Sent email. Got no response. Tried online chat. Not available. Tried all of these for a week with same response. Sent complaint to BBB. Also sent letter of complaint to customer service. Finally got response from customer service and received return label. JL is a part of All Beauty Brands.
Before you order from a catalog check the address label on back cover. If it is from Beauty Brands, do not place order. They have no customer service. Thank you BBB. I did get a little of my money back.

This company is a rip off. I ordered $300 worth of stuff. When I received my items, I realized they sent me the wrong shoe! I ordered a black shoe and I got a leopard print shoe totally different from what I had ordered. I wanted y to o wear them for Easter with a dress I bought. March I returned the shoe. The refunded my card in April. A week later they charged my card again for the shoe. It's the end of May and still no damn shoe! I called last night and was on hold for 2hrs 34mins before I gave up! Today I spoke to two rude customer reps and a supervisor. All they told me is I have to wait on the shoe. Then I can return it for a refund minus the 33% restock fee! I will never ever give them a chip of my money again! Rude rude rude!

I ordered 300.00 dollars worth of merchandise by phone, gave them all my information 2 weeks later called to check on my order. They told me that it wasn't process because I was a new customer and they wanted to verify my information I was never contacted. So I canceled my order. Never again...

I ordered a 10w shoes for my mother they sent us left foot 10w right foot 9w. When I return the shoe they will not give me credit and wants to deduct $10.99 from my purchase. We have learnt our lesson and will NEVER ORDER from them again.

I disputed a charge on my statement and the cust rep told me they were sending me an "affidavit" to describe the dispute. No affidavit showed up. I called a few weeks later and cust rep said they were sending me an "affidavit". It never showed. I kept calling about the dispute and they bounced. Me from rep to supervisor to dispute dept who told me it would take 90 days to review the dispute and research it. I called a week later to check on the status and got bounced everywhere. No answer. Finally I got a wonderful Comenity Bank rep to work with me on this. He stayed on the phone as we bounced all around again finally one of the reps told me I'd have to take it up with the CC company, Comenity Bank. The rep interrupted her and told her that she was wrong. He was representing the CC company and the responsibility to fix this was on them. Then here comes the clenched… she said they couldn't do anything anyway because they don't give refunds after 60 days. I said that the dispute dept told me it takes 90 days to 'investigate" the claim so what's the point if they don't give a refund after 60 days? What a sham after years of being a good customer. I don't buy from them or any of the sister companies and so far between relatives and friends, there will be another 23 people who will not shop there anymore. And I plan on that list getting larger. Hope the CEO gets wind of how bad the customer service is. Good riddance.
I order an item 2 months ago, they ship it and bill me for it I send it back, because. I no longer wanted the item and they take 17 more dollars off and tell me that it cost 9.50 to send and 7.50 to send it back. What a petty thing to do and a rip off I ask them to not send me anymore of their catalogs. There clothes are not that good of quality anyway. I've had several tops to ravel after they have been washed. Shou.ld be reported to the BBB
If you buy from them they sign you up for a mthly autopay "membership", $16.95. They seemed not at all surprised when I called to complain. Do not do business with them.

I placed a decent sized order 8 days ago. Shipping time was promised for 7-12 days. I was hesitant about paying the $25 shipping fee that they wanted to charge me but hey, the clothes looked cute so I coughed up the extra money. I'm still waiting for my order to even be shipped 8 days later. I contacted customer service via email with no response after several days. So I finally reached someone through their chat feature. I sat in a queue for 30 minutes before I finally "spoke" to someone named "Jonathan". He said there was a delay last week with processing orders but I'll get an email with tracking info once my order ships. I asked when it is expected to ship. He said he didn't know and we will just have to wait and see. I explained that I was very unhappy with my whole experience. I paid $25 for processing and shipping, not to mention the $275 worth of clothes that I ordered and I still have not received a single item. His response was "I'm sorry but I have no other options for you". Well, I'm sorry, Jessica London. You just lost what could've been a very good, long term customer.
I can not obviously comment on the quality of their clothes as I have yet to receive any of the many items I ordered.

Jessica London had a miss print in one of there magazine. When I called they honored the price. When I received the package, the price adjustment wasn't on bill. I called 2 c what happen. A supervisor got on the phone n said she's sorry but they can't honor the price 4 me. So unprofessional. I would never recommend them 2 anyone. How does one supervisor honor it n the next one doesn't... Smh
Ordered hundreds of dollars of items that were shipped by an equally awful company, FedEx. Items never showed up and their customer service agents did not care. At all. I am not sure why I ordered from them more than once, actually. Their items are not quality and are overpriced considering what you receive, IF you ever receive it. Don't waste your time. Shop at Lane Bryant instead. Trust me. Lane Bryant has quality items that actually arrive in a timely fashion. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY WITH JESSICA LONDON or their affiliates.

I chose JL because they use Happy Returns which is a new system of returning which provides an instant refund. I work for a transportation company that checks Happy Returns in and I watch customers' excitement when they are notified their return is instantaneous. Plus I've been a Happy Returns user for OTHER retailers. All other retailers refund immediately, NOT so with JL and their affiliates. For my recent JL/Woamn Within order I had 3 Returns. Due to JL return policy of $10.95 to put the refund on my credit card, i chose an eCard to spend on their website. I returned my items on a Thursday and unlike other companies the ecard was not instant nor did i receive an email acknowledging the return and that an eCard number has to be generated. It took 3 calls to customer service to find out it takes 4-5 business days for a COMPUTER generated eCard number. Why would it take that long for a computer to do that? I should have researched to see that JL only has 1.5 stars before purchasing. AND, the clothes and shipping are not cheap. AVOID this company and it's many affiliates; Jessica London, Woman Within, Full Beauty, King Size, etc.
I had a gift certificate from Full Beauty Brands and was told to use it at JL. I tried to use it on a SALE item from the catalog and they charged me the before sale price to avoid using my gift card. Calling to resolve was useless. Besides that they sent me size 10w boots in a a box labeled 8w which I ordered. Yet again calling customer service was useless. Complete waste of time. No one knew anything about how to resolve the gift card issue. They essentially scammed me out of $104 the gift card from the Full Beauty Brand refund.
