I hate to do this but this company has really been a let down. I purchased a PC in January of 2021. To this day 7oct2021 it has not worked correct. The PC cost me $4500. 00 and as expected the pc did not ship for a few months. When the PC arrived the box had taken damage and best we can tell the motherboard was damaged by the weight of the graphics bouncing. The pc would come on and show the display for a few min then the display would go black along with the mouse and keyboard. We spent some time troubleshooting with Ibuypower but ultimately it needed to go back in. The RMA took from Aug10 and returned Sept 21 and still the system is not functional. In all fairness the package was again delivered in the wrong orientation. So again we do an RMA but this time just for the motherboard and ill do the install my self. I am told by the rep that if I pay for the motherboard they can ship it out right away and they will credit me when the current motherboard is returned, so I fork out another $213.00. The RMA was created on Sept 21 I paid for it on Sept 22 and he it is oct 7 and still no Motherboard. After speaking with a customer service rep I find out they don't have the motherboard at all nor do they know when they will have it. I then ask the tech what happens if the warranty lapses before we have a functioning PC. He told me that they will not extend the warranty so I would need to start paying for parts to correct issue. I told him theirs no way I will do that and would rather return the pc that has yet to function properly. I was then told I would not be allowed to do that either and I could instead sell the components from the nonfunctioning pc to get my money back. WOW! So realizing this will likely become a legal issue I ask how I can contact the Ibuypower Legal team and I am told they do not have a legal team and should the issue come to it just have my lawyer call customer service. I really hope that this will not need to happen but I do not take being slighted by a company lightly. Its truly a shame as I really looked forward to buying more systems from this company. So buyer beware and if you still purchase from this company I really really hope its a better experience.
Got a RTX 3080 and Intel Core i9-*******K pre built. Was good for the price and the computer is awesome. Looks great and stays cool. Nothing to complain about. IBuyPower company is one of the best ones!
Totally disgusted not going to get into details because fact is i've met infants that could build better computers i cna't believe i ever bought anything from these scumbags
These people are very difficult to get a hold of. They often have me on hold for over 2 hours, and emails they just don't respond at all.
Not to mention, the computer they sent me was dead on arrival. They sent a replacement gpu, didn't fix it. They send a new hard drive(wrong size) still didn't fix it. Then I sent the whole thing back and they refuse to repair it and sent it back to me. I can't get my money back because it takes them weeks and weeks do get parts and ship things, and apparently I'm outside the 30 day return period even though I never got a working computer in the first place.
IBUYPOWER is a bottom of the barrel pre-built PC company that offers the worst PC's on the market. Their advertising is false, the components they use are garbage, and they're built like crap. Doesn't matter what gaming PC you buy from them it will be a mistake. For the amount of money you were going to spend on an iBUYPOWER PC you could get something twice as reliable and performs twice as fast elsewhere. If you aren't tech savvy and don't know a lot about computers then that's just another nightmare entirely. They have no customer service. Have a problem with your computer? Deal with it. And if you buy an iBUYPOWER PC you WILL run into issues with it. It's not that they won't help it's that they can't help you. They literally know no nothing about diagnosing PC issues. I don't understand how people are still buying from this company when there is an infinite amount of information on how bad their products are. As someone who's been the PC space for almost a decade the best word of advice I can give anyone looking to buy a PC is DO YOUR RESEARCH! DO NOT JUST READ AMAZON REVIEWS! Go on YouTube and watch first hand reviews and breakdowns on the product from reliable sources. Or read through reliable forums and ask questions. You work hard for your money people, stop wasting it and get something that's worth it.
I have been trying to call them for 2 weeks now. Over 400 phone calls. I made an order over 2 months ago that I paid for and they said it was cancelled. Yet they still have my 4500 dollars. Makes no sense.
I paid over $2k for a sys and can't even get help soon to return. I have sent multi emails that are replied to days later, with stupid answers that do not even help.
I ordered one of their "game ready" units. After setting up an account and going through the whole billing process I received an email to call them and verify my shipping address. Although they had both my shipping address and phone number on file so they could have called me. No big deal except that when I called the line was busy for 2 days straight. I also tried sending emails and they were never answered either. In the time I had to wait sitting around I found a better deal on their site for 100 dollars more. So I sent an email asking to upgrade wich was never answered. When my spouse finally got through (I am on deployment with the military and could no longer spend my days trying to contact this company) they told her it was not possible and that my comp would be there next week. I then got an email saying they will let me know when they start to assemble my computer. I payed for a pre built ready to send computer. I still havnt talked to anyone myself.
I bought a ibuypower pc almost a year ago and it was $500 and it was trash because they gave me a amd ryzen 3 3200g 8 gb ram and a gt710 for $500 and then 3 months ago i upgraded my graphic's card to a gtx 1050 ultra and now im getting a OLOy DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) Warhawk Aura Sync RGB 3000 MHz if you are gonna get the $500 pc just letting you know to play games you gave to upgraded and waste like $250-300 to play games with out your fps drooping
I ordered a new computer from ibuypower about two months ago and the computer itself is great with no issues to report. However I will say that I was supposed to get a free game with the package and due to a glitch on their end I never received the code nor was it made clear what the timeline would be to receive the code. Worst part is, when I called their customer service line and waited for 45 mins to get a hold of someone they told me that the code was expired and I would not receive any compansation for something that was out of my hands and the person tried to say it was my fault for waiting too long to get the code... I wanted to leave this review for anyone thinking that their code is on the way because IT IS NOT unless you received the code the SAME day it shipped, because trust me the customer service obviously doesn't care about your problems... very disappointed and I fear if I have any other problems what they might not be willing to help with... do yourself a favor and pick a better company to buy a computer from
Recently bought my first custom prebuilt computer and had switched out some internal pieces, and the graphics card was one of them. Not only is it a faulty card, but I realized it isn't actually the card I had picked out. It was a different brand of video card from what I paid for entirely. Have tried their tech and customer support for a few days and haven't gotten any sort of response
I recently bought a prebuilt IBUYPOWER gaming PC from best buy not too long ago and it was well worth it. The gaming PC that I bought was priced fairly and was easy to set up. It runs games like butter. If your looking to buy a gaming pc consider checking out iBUYPOWER!
Worst experience EVER with a company. I purchased a $1600 computer for my fiance's birthday and within TWO DAYS, both the motherboard and processor went bad. The complementary keyboard was also broken upon arrival. I tried calling multiple times, was left on hold for nearly two hours without any response. Tried calling again another day, got through after an hour only to be told to leave a voicemail. I left a message and call back number multiple times without ANY response. When calling failed, I tried emailing their tech support. A week passed, no response. Sent them another email, same thing. I understand we are in a pandemic, but they could not even be bothered to send out a courtesy email saying they received my email and would respond when they had time. Completely unprofessional.
Ended up buying new parts and paid someone to replace them. $1600 turned into over $2000. Computer works great now that it was fixed, but I expected a WORKING COMPUTER for more than TWO DAYS. Save yourself the stress and take your money to another company.
I purchased one of their pre configured systems. I called and chatted with them on line to make sure the computer was what I wanted. I was told by an online chat rep and a rep on the phone that the computer I selected had both WiFi and Bluetooth. The computer took 6 days to arrive (late). Upon setting up the computer I found it did not have bluetooth or WiFi. I called the company, I was on hold for over an hour, I gave up finally and left a message on their tech support line. That was in APRIL, it's now June. They have never called me back. In May I started to have a few other minor issues with the computer. Again I called the tech support line, after waiting on hold for over an hour I gave up and left a message, again 8 weeks later, NO RESPONSE. I sent repeated emails, finally weeks later they email me, and instead of making any attempts to troubleshoot the problem. They LIE and tell me my copy of Windows 10 is corrupted and they give me instructions to reformat and wipe my computer back to factory specs. This is ridiculous and the most lazy pathetic excuse for tech support I have ever seen! My computer has ZERO symptoms of having a corrupted copy of Windows 10. If I did wipe it and the issues continue it would be another 10 weeks fighting with them for an answer and apparently I would never get the correct solution. I paid them over 1900 dollars for this desktop and I now realize what a HUGE mistake that was. If you get a computer from them with zero issues you'll be fine, but from everything I've now read, if you have problems you're completely screwed. I know they may reply to this and blame it on the pandemic or some other issues, but they have bad reviews going back to last fall. They have LOTS of excuses! It would be great if they put as much effort into HELPING customers as they put into replying to their reviews and complaints on web sites. (FYI They also offer customers a 30 dollar Amazon gift card to write good reviews after purchase. I can prove this because they did it to me.) So don't believe all the good reviews. People were paid for those.
My friend bought a computer, monitor, and speakers from this company for $1,786. The order was from November of 2019, as of March 3rd, 2020 the computer itself has not come. They shipped the monitor and speakers and that's about it. They then charged him for it twice and would not give him a refund. They sent him a label to return the monitor and speakers. They gave him a refund on the 2nd extra charge but have not given him a refund on the initial charge. The customer service is an actual joke, they're extremely rude and not helpful in the least bit. The initial charge is not even considered an order at this point and has just been classified as a transaction. We were put on hold for half an hour just for her to come back and say to call them back in an hour to an hour and a half. I've never been so sure that a website is a scam site more than having to deal with them with him. We're very much considering filing a complaint with the better business bureau if they continue to refuse him a refund for the products that they have not delivered on. Stealing thousands of dollars from paying customers and then refusing to deliver on products you promised them is the literal definition of a scam. I hope that no one makes the mistake of attempting to do business with these people.
The put false videos on line. Make false claims. Offer no customer support. Lie on on line videos of what you get when purchased. JUNK TRASH LOES
Horrible customer service. Ordered a replacement side panel one month ago, they shipped a replacement with no fragile stickers or glass enclosed stickers. It arrived shattered. It was a glass side panel placed in a box, no wrapping, with nothing but styrofoam popcorn. No cardboard or bubble wrap. Ordered a replacement for the replacement and it's still " processing". Good luck dealing with customer service. No follow through, customer service is a joke. 30-45 minute time to get anyone to pick up is the norm. Don't walk, run from this company. There are much better choices out there.
It got here faster than I expected. The colors keep it bright and the performance is great for the price tag. I'll definitely be shopping here again!
I bought a computer paid over 1.7k for it to come with deffective ram cards, they didn't want to replace my ram cards toxic company.
Received a prebuilt PC from them, totaling $2800. Graphics card drives will not load. Reinstalled the drivers and reseated connections... the usual. Called Tech-Support who told me they wont even attempt to troubleshoot it and would only RMA. Didn't confirm that I had done everything. Transferred me over to customer service who told me in order to receive an RMA card they would have to put a $1,300 hold on my credit card. I just paid $2,800. Even though that cost will be restored, it's a $1,300 temporary hit no-one should have to take because you failed to QA your device prior to shipping.
Answer: Impossible. I ordered a unit and was never answered by email with any questions and the phone was busy at all times. In 2020 I dont remember the last time I called a company (especially a tech company) and didn't at least get put in a que on the phone.
Answer: They do not honor anything in my experience. You pay to buy it, you pay to ship it back, you pay for parts to fix it, they don't refund your money. Buyer beware.
Answer: As soon as they have your money you are nothing until you give them more! Go somewhere else. Alienware and Falcon NW.
