Multiple transfers with disconnects during transfer. Simple issue never resolved. Ultimately, after 2.5hrs of wasted time they sent me back to the department that started this vicious game of hot potato. Makes me never want to by HP again! Seriously the worst customer experience ever!
If you do NOT purchase the company's ink plan -- they are connected to your new printer and-- they
Will remove the print word and replace it with save or cancel. Your printer no longer works! This should be against the law! I was forced to buy another brand of printer and it works! Do NOT buy a H P printer!~~!
Bought brand new hp 15.12 gig of ram 1 TB hard drive. Turned it on first time. Will not shut down on its own. You have to press and hold the power button 10-15 seconds and then it might shut down. Since every item for sale in the US is built by the lowest bid it is not surprising the customer service response. No one in this department speaks without such an accent that it is extremely hard to understand. Not one person in customer support gave a "____" about my problem. 10 days old and I wanted a faulty computer replaced. This is; was my last HP anything, just because they do not care enough to take care of the problem. 1 year warranty... you can forget that. If you have bought faulty merchandise that is what they consider the ultimate sale no use no work no complain, move on to the next unsuspecting customer!
Do not sign up for HP Instant Ink. This is the way it works. They will charge you every month for the number of pages you print, which often exceed the cost of the ink if you go to the store and buy it. Then if you cancel your HP Instant Ink account, they turn your printer off even though you have already paid over and above for the ink in your printer, and you cannot print anything. Then they will continue to charge you for one or two more months, claiming it is due to the pages you printed the past couple of months. It is a total scam. Just go to the store and buy your ink and you will save a lot of money. Again, this HP Instant Ink subscription is a total scam! Do Not Sign Up for it.
Stay away!' After you pay, for them you are worthless piece of crab. Poor is an understatement for them. I wouldn't spent the time and effort to write this review if I'm moderately disappointed. It's way worst than that. The struggle is real. DO NOT BUY from them
Making money is key here, because that's all they are after. They don't care who they run down in the process of making their cash. You think they would have enough, but they don't. They have conned me out of a lot of money, not only buying their sub par products, but paying to fix them even when I have a warranty. My pc was 2 months old and broke down. I have spent a good amount of money trying to get it fixed. They say to call their tech department, but when you do they say you must pay this extra money for expert techs. Bull pucky. I paid. They did nothing. They guarantee me it would be repaired. Nothing! Not even a trip into the settings on my pc. Mind you, I apparently signed up for 1 year 15.99 a month. For what? NOTHING!. They make my blood boil. If anything or anybody could cause me a heart attack, they would be it. Please save your money and time, try to buy better products that won't break down so quick. And definitely do not give Tech Support any cash.
I got a 1 year warranty on a laptop, in case of it suddenly breaking. It did in fact suddenly break, but the support person insisted I was at fault despite it not being caused by me in any capacity. Now I'm stuck paying 300 dollars for a screen replacement because HP is terrible at manufacturing computers and customer service. They also wouldn't let me review the support person on their site.
I bought an HP Pavilion x 360 laptop 3 years ago and the right hinge broke connecting the screen after about 2 1/2 years of owning it. I hardly ever opened and closed the computer. I had to pay almost $200 to have this repaired. They had to replace the whole back panel. The repairman said they see a lot of this with HP computers. Wish I'd known that before I bought it. Would not recommend HPs and will never buy one again.
HP took a well functioning app and modified it to the new HP Smart. The renovation constantly breaks down causing a waste of time and obstruction to productivity. I will replace HP with another manufacturer in the future.
One of the worst customer service I had to deal with. They sent me my laptop with wrong configurations and so much hassle to correct their mistake. Their customer service do not even pick up the phone, over an hour waiting, and sales rep trying to sell me coverege telling insurance is handled by different department than the hp customer service so I should not be worried. What a joke!
Bunch of non professionals gathered together.
And here goes another company outsourcing it's "customer service" to an Indian based callcentre and in doing so completely obliterating customer service.
Tip number one: employ people who can speak and understand English.
There is no tip number 2, you failed completely at tip number one.
My only hope is that AI can take over as customer service for these companies or they fold and cease to exist, having people in these roles that are unable to help in any way due to language barriers because these corporations are so concerned over their bottom line and in turn their bonuses has ruined corporate America. Fingers crossed it ruins their companies too.
The biggest pieces of s* ** you will EVER| have to deal with. If you ever DO get it working, you can be assured it will NOT work the next time you try to print anything. The HP "support?" If you ask a " negative" question, you will get the "unexpected error" message that results in your comments NOT being allowed to be posted, because they don't want to hear anything negative. Negative bots will look for "bad" words and refuse to post your review. I've dealt with TWO different H P printers. They were complete pieces of S***. However, they 're pretty much the only game in town, so I guess we'll just have to keep buying the pieces of S*** and deal with it.
They Will not honour a straightforward warranty repair... screen just stopped working... somehow a screen that was undamaged before sending away after going blank, now has damage in the top right hand corner whch invalidate a the warranty...
They pass you from pillar to post and none will take responsibility. Customer service key role is to fob you off it seems till you just go away.
Do not know what happened to the company I used to know, but they are now a company which does NOT give a damn.
Short and sweet - I ran into nothing but a bait and switch scam. Computers that would show up on the site that really were a good deal...turned out in the end to be "not eligible" for the program even when logged into the Frontline Heros storefront. The customer service rep just said... Oops sorry for the inconvenience.
I guarantee there wil not be and inconcience in the future. Back to Dell the first HP was crap anyway
For now my experience is not that bad but I can see by reviews, other were not that lucky. I am giving 4 stars because I think price for my laptop was a little to high. I am using laptop a lot, on daily basics, for my work and personal stuff and works really good, no bugs, really fast what was super important for me!
I bought my HP laptop at Best Buy. After a few days from purchasing it, the left mouse button stopped working. So I contacted HP guarantee though customer support to get the laptop repaired. After spending over an hour on the chat, the person on the other side wrote back to me saying that HP was going to bill me for the repair because it was the button, something physical. So I decided not send it for repair.
The original guarantee just expired, and HP sent me an offer to buy guarantee for +$100. Of course, I will never buy anything from HP again.
Please note that since I purchased this laptop, I have only been able to use it with an external mouse.
I had ordered my Laser cartridges as it was urgent (have done it in the past many time and I thought I was their good customer). The shipment said that it will take 3/5 business days. After about 10 days I checked the system and it showed that USPS has misplaced it and there was no definite date. I contracted them to send me a replacement urgently as I needed it badly. They insisted that I wait but would not refund me immediately. I went to best buy and bought it as I had urgent printing. After one more week, the cartridges showed up when I had no value.
HP have fell off completely, I used to purchase the instant ink for several years. I noticed it was watered down but I decided to continue it for a wdial, a lone while.I begin to purchase ink now. I just realized today. That i'm unable to print and black because my color cartridge is empty. In the beginning you could print even though your colored cartridge was empty. With today's inflation. We don't need all that extra trying to force us to purchase ink we may not need. So I am going to get back on the instant ink program. But i'm only going to get on the one that you paid four dollars a month for and only pay ten cent per print and they still will send you ink Not satisfied at all, So when this printer break? And most HP printers malfunction in one year. I'm going to buy a cannon printer, Because they've always required all in Cartridge to be installed. If I must have ink and a printer I might as well go with the best.
The support services for hp product is mediocre at best, I would give 0 stars not only for product ease of use but also the support services available online. You cant get to an actual person, I spent an hour on the support site before I finally did a new search and found a video online that was 100% more helpful. I couldn't even get the printer to work via USB cable. Complete garbage in my opinion You get what you pay for I guess.
My printer setting somehow switched to Japanese paper settings and although I followed the directions in the manual and also on the HP site for trouble shooting it is still not working. I spoke to HP customer service and after being on hold for 45 minutes I was told that since the printer is over a year old and no longer under warranty they cannot help me. I was not asking them to give me a new printer I just needed help in resetting the language and they would not help. I was told to just go buy a new printer. You can be sure that if and when I do replace my printer, computer or laptop it will not be with an HP product.
Answer: Impossible by phone since at least December 2023. ( May be before)
Answer: I'm old and remember the HP of 20 years ago. Boy has time changed this company.
Answer: Lenovo is similar to HP, though the performance of Lenovo's computers is complete crap, the upside to it is that they at least have good service.
HP has a rating of 1.2 stars from 520 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with HP most frequently mention customer service, tech support and instant ink. HP ranks 201st among Laptops sites.
