It is a nightmare trying to get any kind of customer service from HP. Their online system sends you in an endless loop, but so does the phone service. I was shunted to five different departments in one visit; and incidentally, there is one spot where you are supposed to hit 1 and then enter your case number... except what happens when you hit 1 is that the whole menu repeats. If you hit 2 or 3, your other options, nothing at all happens And that is how I lost six hours of my life that I will never get back.
So-so. But the representative lied to me and then ripped me off. We did tests on my broken printer to see if it needed replacing. One of the tests was to see if the problem was the ink cartridges. He offered to send me ink cartridges. I told him I have new, unopened ink cartridges here, rather than waiting for new ones in the mail. I asked him if it proves that the cartridges aren't the problem, will he send me replacement cartridges. He said yes. The tests were done; the ink cartridges were not the problem; he reneged on his word to send me replacement cartridges. That's only the beginning of my experience with this pathetic company. They send refurbished products under the guide of 'new,' thus, stealing your money. Stay away from HP.
