Everything so far has been very good. I have had confirmation from the hotel as requested. Our booking is correct and everything as booked. Very good communication. The hotel even phoned to say they would try and meet our special requests. Very good. I will definitely be using Hogteling again. Very pleased. Thank you.
After booking my hotel, they said that it could take up to 24 hours to receive a confirmation. 12 hours later they said that it could take up to 48 hours. 48 hours after booking they begged for another three days. Then they just cancel the reservation. Of course, it is now over one week later and they still have not refunded my money and they still show the same offer at the same hotel at the same price. Work with anyone else!

I booked online last night and didn't receive a confirmation email. I see the charge on my card but i am concerned that i didn't get a confirmation email and now I read all of this i am panicking! I tried to email the address on the site but it is requiring a reference number and I don't have one because i didn't get a confirmation email!

We booked a hotel for 2 adults and three children. They are 16, 14, 11 years old, so classified as children. As we checked in when we arrivied there the confirmation said we booked for 3 infants instead of children. It must have been a server error because we searched for the hotel for several times and always with the same price.
We got a confirmation email with a different check in date of 2 out of 3 rooms, when we called to fix this, they said call the hotel, we cannot change and they confirmed that the booking details is now with the hotel. When we called the hotel, they could NOT find any booking for us! When we re-called hoteling.com, another agent replied the call and said that the hotel will not have our booking details cause it's with a 3rd party booking! Moreover, the customer agent (Linda) hang up on us the call! What kind of customer service is this! When we called again, the same agent advised that there is no solution for our different dates glitch, and moreover, she advised that the booking was done through the UK website and we live elsewhere, so the hotel will refuse this booking upon check in and will charge us with the difference in price! And we can't cancel it, and there's nothing we can do! If that's not a horrible experience, I don't know what is!

STAY AWAY from this site! I made a booking on Wednesday 1st June and I didn't receive any booking reference but I was CHARGED the full amount! It's impossible to get in touch with Hoteling. I emailed them on three different email addresses and no reply, not even an acknowledgement ("Thank you, your query has been submitted and a confirmation e mail sent, a member of the team will be in contact" - that never happened).
If anyone from Hoteling is reviewing this, can you please get in touch? It may be wishful thinking...

I just booked a hotel in China - the wrong dates came through on the booking sheet. I phoned and tried to change dates to those that I wanted. They took so long on phone and then asked for my credit card details over the phone (I would never provide these). I asked person on phone to just cancel the change he was doing as it was taking to long and said that I would go on website and just cancel the whole thing. I've now been charged $90 (about the same as one nights accom) for changing the dates and then cancelling. The fact is I said not to change the dates and didn't authorize him to do this.
At this stage i'm waiting for a refund of $165.26 having paid 90.71 for the privilege. This is not on and I will be making sure others know that this company is very untrustworthy

They have a non existing customer service. They wont refund me cause there website needed a confirmation number they never sent me I had to call the hotel itself to get it then had to get a hold of the team that provides hoteling's wholesaler to get them to answer my email. S still they sasid they cant refund me even though the hotel said there should be no problem

Confirmation means done deal. It's a commitment from both parties. When a company charges the client and they pay, there's an exchange taking place. If the company cant't deliver their part yet, then don't charge the client!
Since my first review on May 31,2016, I have subsequently received a response from Hoteling. They advised that my reservation for the 2nd room was cancelled because they couldn't confirm the booking. Now I'm waiting for the refund to my credit card. Then I had to booked the same hotel with another company.
The reservation for the 1st room is still intact and confirmed. Hope that we will not encounter any more problems.
Hoteling needs to review and improve their booking process to be more customer focused, and to improve their customer service.

The Booking.com was easy but the Hotel was HORRIBLE! Bed was uncomfortable, had screaming kids from 2:30 am to 4:00 am, same happened next day. No support from front desk as the clerk was asleep during the night!

So we book this hotel through hoteling.com, never receive a confirming email. Then when I reach out to them asking for an email confirming, they send me an email CANCELING. I mean really, what kind of service is this!?!?!?

I just tried to cancel a $400 booking through hosteling.com. The website let me cancel, but they did not refund my money. When I called, I spoke to someone who barely spoke English who informed me that I would have had to cancel ten days before my trip. Not true. I tried to do so before the ten day mark and it still said then that I would be owed no refund. So now they have canceled my booking claiming they "can't retrieve it", and I'm out $400+. What a scam!

I have book a 4 night stay in taipei from them. When im on my way to taipei. I have receeive a email saying that my booking as cancelled. I guess they never even placed any booking in the first place to the hotel. What the... I emailed hoteling about this and no reply from them. I have check with my bank transactions and confirm that they have charged me already! So end up i have to last mintue looking for hotel for my stay! Better book from trusted website*

Booking Ref-******* and *******- I had booked a holiday for three nights through Hoteling.com on 1st. May, 2016 for my stay (2 rooms, three nights) at Luxor Karnak, Luxor, Egypt from 27-30 May, 2017 (booking confirmations enclosed). Got to know after contacting the Hotel that reservations not made.
On further enquiry, it got revealed that Hoteling.com under the 'lowcosttravelspain' has got into liquidation. I further got to know that 'Finbarr O'Connell, Henry Shinners and Colin Hardman of Smith & Williamson LLP and Lane Bednash of CMB Partners UK Ltd were appointed as joint administrators of lowcostholidays on 21 July 2016 by order of the High Court in London'.
Full Money misappropriated and nothing returned. Court appointed administrators are silent and have not returned a penny!

Book a 3 night stay at bangkok. Credit card been charged but no booking reference number is send to me. Email hoteling customerservices more than 5 times, but to no reply. No booking reference number, no COMFIRMATION email. If the company can't be bother to even reply email, what's the point of asking customer to email them. Totally disappointed in them. Do not use this website for hotel booking if u want to have a worry-free holiday.

Attempted to book a stay. It kept giving the wrong dates, so cancelled and rebooked. They charged $45 for each cancelled booking. We tried to email - it said invalid site. We tried to call. They of course couldn't find the booking. Then we looked at our bank statement. 3 reservations had been charged and only 1 refund. We have emails documenting 3 bookings and 2 cancellations. These reservations are a total of $660. Even if they cancel all of them, we will be out $120 because of their crappy website.
My husband just went in and did a 3rd cancellation...
Was a nightmare. They asked me for a copy of my credit card and passport once they had already charged the money to my credit card. The reason according to them was there was an issue with my payment. The only issue was the hotel never received the money. They drove me crazy. There is only one telephone number so an international very expensive call was made. They told me all was fine but still i kept on receiving emails asking for more personal information. So I canceled the reserve and they charged me,
I have to pay a penalty because the service is beyond poor. They made me waste my money in international phone calls and penalties. I travel a lot and something like that never happened to me before.

It usually happen when you book via our website for different country than yours. We make a reservation as soon as possible after your booking, however sometimes we have difficulties with obtaining confirmation from hotel.
We inform about our charges during booking process and by making a payment you confirm that you agree and accept them.

Answer: Hi I'm still waiting for my refund and they haven't come back to me with my email of a couple of days ago. My advice is still don't use this company.
Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
