AWFUL
February 6, 2020

The order tracker moves ever so slowly and almost gets to the end, but alas, after almost 2 hours of waiting, they suddenly cancel your order - even though you just chatted with customer service and they told you you could keep waiting as they had no information of issues. So pointless to contact them.

This company has no problem taking your money charging huge fees and not taking responsibility for their errors. I placed the order and payed. The driver goes to pick up the order which they personally (the driver) have placed on your behalf. She takes it upon herself to change the order to much less and cheaper food then drops it off. She leaves before you can check it. Restaurant confirmed driver ordered the wrong items. Grub hub wanted us to call the driver and work it out. When we told them that fixing this and working it out with their hired employee is not our responsibility. Long story short food ordered to get 5 people, just under 60 bucks, good received 4 orders of the cheapest item on the menu. Company response you can wait 5 business days for them to fix it as they are unable to correct the order or reorder what should have came. Must be nice to be able blow money like that and not worry. I personally do not have the money to do that. This was a special treat for us and grubhubs inability to provide the service I paid for means not everyone got to eat and those who did couldn't even fill up on what was delivered. Shame in you grab hub.

Got Scammed

I got scammed by grubhub! Ordered at 8:30, driver never even went to the resturant, texted to make sure he was okay, he was fine, 10:00pm came, called their customer service (the resturant was closed then) and she kept telling me to call the resturant and the driver to make sure everything was okay. I told her several times the resturant was closed and I DID text the driver with nothing. Finally she said she issued me a refund and never did. Customer service a week later was no help at all, said they voided the transaction but never refunded me my money, so now I have to put in a fraud claim to get my money back. Never again. Never.

My food is always late when I order from here

The customer service reps always say they will do something that they never do.

I've had to pay for food that a driver sat in the car in a random parking lot for 20 minutes after he picked it up and they treated me like it wasnt a valid reason for a refund.

The reps have no customer service skills what's so ever.

Everytime I call, the reps ask me completely different verification questions.

FOOD IS ALMOST ALWAYS LATE STALE AND A WASTE.

So I decided to apply to be a driver, because I felt it was needed. I have great customer service, I used to drive for Postmates and used to make hundreds in tips a night. And they immediately said they weren't looking for drivers at the time due to the low volume of users. When simultaneously, I was waiting on food that should of arrived almost an hour ago.

Spoke to the restaurant and they said my food has been prepared. Another $50 of food that will arrive stale and go into the trash, that they will not refund me.

These delivery services are beyond terrible.

Worse experience ever dealing with a delivery service. We ordered a pickup order from Fuzzy's Tacos which totalled around $30. On top of that we agreed to pay 20% tip for the driver. 30 mins went by and we called to check if the food had been picked up by the driver and were told it wasn't. We were finally able to contact GrubHub customer service, who told us that the order was for pick-up. Who uses a delivery to schedule a pick-up? You just go to the restaurant since you have to do that anyway! They offered no other options and no refunds. So we are screwed out of $30 and needless to say will not be using Grub Hub or dinning at Fuzzy's Tacos ever again. I will write a special blog about this incident and so everything in my power to discourage everyone I know from using GrubHub! Some companies have absolutely no problem putting money ahead of their customers... those companies won't last long!

Very persistent!

So Grubhub constantly keeps calling the store where I work at asking the same question every time: if we are interested in their delivery service. Every time, we tell them we are not interested at all. Today some girl called asking for the owner, she didn't even say her name or that she was with Grubhub. I think it is very manipulative when she does that. When I told her we are not interested whatsoever she kept asking why we are not, we don't have an account with them, we can make the service fee "free" (however much that is true I don't know) and then when I told her we are not interested for the 1000th time she asked me if I was the manager or supervisor. When I told her no, she rudely told me that she will call back at another time when "somebody who is in charge" will be in. Stop calling businesses that already told you they are not interested in your service and be rude and manipulative about it! So annoying!

Rip-off
February 4, 2020

I have ordered from this place twice and both times the food was cold and an hour late. Drivers aren't friendly either. I was curious to see how much a $6.00 lunch would be right up the street from my work and the final total told me $26! Safe to say I didn't order and will never use them again. $20 in fees to go less then one mile... What a joke.

Sometimes someone may not be able to pickup an order that was placed thru Grubhub. Dont think you'll get your money back because they wont refund you. Theres also nothing in the FAQ page or help page that states anything to that. I will no longer use Grubhub ever again!.

I placed an order 2 days ago and I was delivered someone else's order. I called the driver and he said to tell Grubhub. I went to the app to file a complaint and... nothing. I tried that a few times. Then, I called and was told by Juan there was nothing they could do for me. I deleted the app and will not use again. Absolutely terrible service!

Should have read reviews. Not customer service oriented AT ALL. Food to be delivered to friend who suffered loss and was not leaving house. Food was not delivered. Called, and no refund. Truly heartless.

STAY AWAY!

Horrible, Horrible service. I placed an order this evening and upon receiving a "delivered notification" (after delivery was delayed by 20 mins) I NEVER received my food. Called customer service and was told "unable to deliver" and my food had been returned to the restaurant. FALSE as I contacted the establishment to check if my order was returned. As I suspected; NOPE! Contacted GRUB HUB and was offered a 50% discount for a future purchase. I will NEVER do business with them again as they employ THIEFS! Unacceptable and they have not heard the last of me! I am not okay with buying that driver dinner as I went to bed hungry. How dare they treat their customers like this!

Driver drove off after saying my food was delivered and it was not. He was 30 minutes late and I approached him (matched the photo on the app) said he was not with Grubhub. Called customer service and would not refund me because he said it was delivered and offered me a 50 percent off my next order coupon. LOL why would I order from them again after being charged and no food delivered? Horrible customer service and had to dispute the charge through my bank. Waste of 2 hours of my life.

I have had nothing but issues with GrubHub. Their app and desktop website keep telling me the restaurants I want to order from are closed, even though I know for a fact that they are open (in fact I had lunch at one of them in person before seeing if the app said they were closed, and sure enough it did).

The last straw was today when I placed an order to be delivered at noon, only to have it be an hour and a half late and I STILL didn't have my order. Two of the customer reps told me that I would have my order within 5 minutes, which never happened. I think they were just trying to get me off the phone. They finally cancelled the order for me after an hour and a half wait.

DO NOT USE GRUBHUB! I have used Door Dash and find it vastly superior. I can actually place orders and their website doesn't tell me everything is closed. The orders also arrive on time.

I ordered thru Grub Hub had no other way of getting deliver at work. Delivery person at Grub Hub called my cell phone which I could not pick up at work then proceeded to text me one minute later (I Have the screen shot) I texted her back to say come up to 4th floor -like it said on the address I placed the order with. She never came in 5 min later I called her cell phone MILAGROS *******075 she advised me that she already left and would not come back and told me I had to call Grub Hub. I called Grub Hub they said she will not be coming back they will not refund me and that they would send me $50 in credit to use their service again. What they did not tell me was that they had to send 2 seperate codes for $25 each and you cannot use them on the same order. I already spent $50 on one order so that means I have to order from them twice again after they screwed me! I then did the chat to Grub Hub after finding this out and the person only could offer me a 3rd code for $5 for fees meaning I would have to order for a 3rd time! They are a bunch of theives and the delivery person stole my an my co-workers lunch and got a automatic tip on top of it - we will never order from Fellini again or Grub hub and I will be sure to tell all my online friend of this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE 1ST TIME USING GRUB HUB

I have ordered many times from GrubHub or its predecessor organizations (Eat24) before. Usually the food is here within the indicated time, the delivery person rings my door bell or knocks on the door (I sit close by the door) and I receive the food. Today after 70 minutes I contacted GrubHub that my food was not here after having ordered it.

They said a driver had attempted to call me and then driven away. I told them I had not received a call from a recognizable caller ID nor was there a message left on my answering machine alerting me. No-one rang the door bell or knocked on the door. I was then informed that drivers do not need to do that (although at not point was I informed that I should be awaiting a call from a person whose name/number I wouldn't recognize). Moreover, the food wasn't left for me retrieve. I was furthermore told that the driver would not reattempt delivery nor would I be reimbursed for food that was not delivered. I have successfully disputed my VISA charges and will from now on order directly from the restaurant, which is much better anyway. GrubHub charges a heft "service fee" (separate from tip to driver) plus a 25% fee from the restaurant where the order was placed. This lessons taught me what I should have known, order directly from the restaurant.

Why would i order thru grybhub, pay for delivery and tip and HAVE TO PICK UP MYSELF?

Grub Hub - Goodbye

Grubhub might help businesses get more sales but they have a strong hold on them. IT IS BETTER FOR THE BUSINESS TO GET A CALL DIRECTLY FROM YOU. I found 90% of the time I get better prices, better service, better customizing of my order and more options. Often they put higher prices on the Grubhub menu because they have to pay them a 25% fee.
So I now only use Grubhub to look at what's available and what around me. Then call directly myself. 99% of the time I can still pay by credit card and even include the tip. I save money
I've had major problems with Grubhub not getting my phone number right. One time I used my account at a different address. It's fine you can add addresses. But the next six orders they used the wrong phone number. I only found out because the driver called the other addresses phone number with a problem in front of my address. The next three orders I use online chat to get help with this and it was not good. On one I said the restaurant has my correct number, my profile has the right number, so fix it. They came back saying all is ok now because they called the restaurant... duh. The next orders were wrong. Chat did not fix it repeatedly. Numerous calls to Customers service did not fix it. On the third call (many orders later) they said oh yeah we've had this problem for a while try deleting your address and re-adding it... goodbye. That did not work. In my LAST ever orders I put my right number in the entree special instruction and the delivery order instruction. I gave the more than enough chances. BYE.

If I could negative rate Grubhub! I think they don't do the background check for their drivers!
It's scary!

Today, my order was delayed more than 2hrs, so I was upset. When the driver delivered my order I did shut the door little harder. He stayed tried to open my door and was swearing out side my house. I was quick enough to lock my door, I'm not sure what would have happened!

Be safe! Don't trust this company!

The driver of Cabañas Restaurant never brought my food and he reported to Grubhub as it was delivered. As other complained they charged my credit card but they did not gave me a refund just on offer of 50% next purchase. I refused to the offer but they did not want to return my money. I think this is a scam, the restaurant probably never prepared my food since they have the politic of charge the credit card with only report that the food was delivered without proof they have called or attempted to bring the food. It is possible the Grubhub is involved since both restaurants and Grubhub win
