This is the second time now I have given grub hub a chance again after always taking FOREVER to deliver the food and my food being cold. The first time this happened my food had be ready and waiting for 1 hour before they ever even picked up my food, so by the time I got the food it had already been 1.5 hours after my food was ready and the driver accepted my order to pick it up right after I ordered it. I sat here watching him sitting for 1.5 hours not moving in his car once. Tonight I accidently ordered with Grub hub bc I mixed up them with door dash, but anyways I ordered Mexican literally 8 blocks from my house, but have sick kids here, so I didn't wanna go out with them, but anyways it originally said it would be here between 750-8pm then it changed to 810-820pm and guess $#*!ing what... its after 820pm and its still not here! Also, I saw this lady sitting there not moving for ever either. This is ridiculous, I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I AGAIN WILL BE CALLING AND COMPLAINING!
Such a disappointment. A company that was most likely created to increase efficiency in life and they don't even know how to function. Placed our dinner order and overall, our food never arrived. We called the restaurant twice to see if our food had been picked up as it was going on more than an hour since the order was placed. The restaurant advised we call Grub Hub directly. We call Grub Hub and first off, I can barely hear the customer service rep because it sounds like they're all sitting around a table together. The rep offers to call the driver to check their status and placed me on hold. She then says the driver told her he's 15 minutes from our place. We get an updated estimated arrival time. Waited another 30 minutes and our food still didn't arrive. We called the restaurant again and they state our food has STILL not been picked up. So either the customer service rep or driver lied. We called Grub Hub again to explain our disappointment and dissatisfaction. They cancel our order and provided a refund. Such a waste of time. Grub Hub also initially gave us a promo for only 10% off a future $50 order... wow, what a promo. Thanks, but no thanks Grub Hub. Just end your company now. You're a complete waste of time.
So, a 2:50 delivery fee and a recomended tip of almost 11$. Ill go get it myself. The place is only 1.5 ish miles away but who doesnt feel lazy once and awhile. The food is o. K. my kids ask for it every once in a great while. Its next to a liquer store so 2 birds with 1 stone.
I ordered food tonight, only to wait over an hour for it not to show up and so when I check on my order, it said it got cancelled. At no point in time did I ever try to cancel my order, and I got no notification of it happening either. Now it's almost midnight and nothing near me is open so I'm SOL on dinner now. Thanks GrubHub.
They forgot so many things with out order. When we called to complain, they said we have to go get it ourselves. We order delivery for a reason. Horrible service. I recommend Postmates over this crap any day!
After waiting an hour and a half for our food the restaurant informed us a grubhub driver refused to deliver. By the time we received our order it was cold and incomplete.
DON'T order from Grubhub! They don't give a damn & the service is lousy to nonexistent!
Here's what happened to me: I ordered from a Cheyenne WY restaurant at 4:30 p. M for delivery at 6 p.m. When dinner wasn't here by 6:40 p.m., I messaged & was told a driver hadn't been assigned to bring me my order, but delivery would be expedited. The kitchen at the rehab center closes at 7 p.m. & the doors close at 8 p.m. Dinner didn't arrive by 9 p.m. & I messaged again. I was told a driver wasn't available. I cancelled the order & told Grubhub I'd NEVER order from them again.
It was unacceptable behavior by Grubhub not to inform me problems could be expected from the start & keep me informed of delays throughout. It wasn't suggested I cancel the order until a few minutes before I cancelled. I can't imagine restaurants that enjoy dealing with late arrivals or drivers who don't arrive at all because reheating their food or letting it go out cold don't make them look good either.
The end result was I got no dinner that night because the kitchen had closed at 7 p.m. & the doors closed at 8 p.m. so no other delivery was possible that night.

I placed an order through this "service". Absolutely a scam. The driver came into my building WITH THE FOOD (allegedly, as nobody in the entire building had seen anyone come in) and left with the food and me not having it. I paid for a meal I did not get, and then they proceeded to only get a refund for 50% of my order and not the whole order, plus a coupon for the next order. As if I would ever use them again. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but this is absolutely ridiculous and, frankly, unethical especially with not getting all of my money back. I would recommend Ubereats or Doordash, as they have impeccable customer service and they are always on the ball. Grubhub does not care about its customer base whatsoever. Do yourself a favor, and use a service that actually delivers.
Horrible business ethics and substandard service for merchants. They said I would be paying 15% on orders and when I checked my statements it was more like 25%... Then when they explained it to me, they said phone calls with no orders were assessed commissions based on the last 6 orders total amount of the check. So, if there is not an order, they still collect commission... What is that? They never tell you this until you realize that you are losing over 25%... Also, who knows if these phone calls exist, they don't put an order amount next to it... Stick with the upfront guys, Postmates, doordash, Chow Now, Slice
Im the restaurant owner, they often do order and not come to pick them up, and they often do not pay you by provide incorrect credit card info then you will never able to find the them to pay you! Anyway, stay away from this company!

Waited 2 hours for delivery, and it wasn't even the right restaurant. Told them to redeliver fresh food since ours was still at the restaurant stone cold, they decided to just cancel the order. Worse service always from grubhub. Try to hire drivers that can actually communicate.
The place I usually get my food from closes at 2AM, but Grubhub won't let me order anything after 9:30PM. The app wont allow it, says pickup will be next day. I never called on that, but then I ordered some food today at 7:30PM and app said delivery will be 8:15-8:25PM. At 8:35Pm I called Grubhub, employee said driver is on the way but they have no way of contacting him to find out ETA. Asked to speak to a supervisor and supervisor told me there has not been a driver assigned for my order yet that's why they can't contact anyone. Restaurant wasn't answering my calls either so I ended up cancelling order. I even tried to "chat" with customer service they said driver was on the way and will deliver in 15 minutes. I just don't understand the lies and the difficulty with ordering with this app. Just problematic!
Placed order 3 hours in advance only to learn that the order was cancelled after they took my money. I was then told that I would have to wait 5 - 10 days for my 40.00 refund. I was not given a reason for the cancellation.
I was in subway today and saw a grub hub delivery person in there getting ready to pick up an order. His grub hub delivery bag was filthy! I will never ever use grub hub again because of it!
The driver did not speak any English. He called me yelling at me in a language I did not understand. I tried to speak to him but all I understood was grub hub and listen to him walk around to neighboring streets in a language I did not understand but could hear people say it's not their food. Again yelling at me he contacted the company saying he couldn't reach me after being on the phone 15 mins without communication in a mutual language. I contacted customer service twice they said they will call me back took my information and then hung up on me. I will never order from this company again it was absolutely disgraceful how they handled it. Oh, did I mention we finally got our food after we tracked him down 2 streets over. I left a review with the BBB and they have 1 star across the board and are not accredited. SAVE YOUR AGGRAVATION AND MONEY
Never got our order. Restaurant said it left them at 6:50 pm. Called a 8:10 pm. You suck grub hub. Called in they don't know what happened to our food and can't reach the driver. Full refund but not for 3-5 days. Some people don't have $65.00 extra laying around for 3-5! Daya when the food order was for 3 nights of dinner.
Beware, I Call three times trying to find out what happened because my order was canceled at the last minute no one had any answers and hung up on me when I said I wanted to give a review. I called Becca fourth time, I told them it was a great experience and wanted to leave a review, and then of course the person put me through to the review system after the phone call. Clearly after three people it's some kind of policy, and businesses like this shouldn't be trusted or rewarded.
Ordered a pizza and salad. Pizza came but delivery guy said no salad was with order. Of course I had already tipped him. I reported it and GrubHub refunded me but no salad. They were just like sorry and that's it. Poor customer service, whatever happened to let's make it right.

Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
