I ordered a mean, I was forced to add a tip on the app only for me not to received my food for lunch as they stole my money. It is a shameful act and I can never use them again. Total fraud absolute FRAUD
My first experience with grub hub has me feeling like i should have just skipped lunch altogether. I placed my order with ease about an hour ahead of time and was immediately given a window of delivery time approximately an hour out which was perfect. Having this scheduled i was comfortable arranging my work accordingly to accommodate a little bit of a late lunch time. About a half hour later i recieved a text notifying me that my order was actually scheduled earlier than previously stated. This was good news to me as i didnt want to bounce around the time i need to eat and still be productive in my job. The track my order feature decided to update me 10 minutes later and now it was gonna be a half hour later. Ok it happens i would deal with it. Every 10 minutes or so it updated me with a 10 minute later delivery time each time. Over 2 hours to have tacobell delivered cold from 11 minutes away seemed ridiculous and had i not dropped my vehicle off for inspection and was able to drive, i would just get it myself. Never again will i use grubhub. I never had any bad experiences with doordash.
Terrible liars. No refunds when they screw up. How are they in business still!? I will never use grub hub again. There are plenty of restaurant delivery options that are excellent!
Delivery food is great but no one is trying to wait 2+ hours for their food to arrive. If this app doesn't have enough available drivers it must tell the clientele. My food is cold and soggy it was done 15 minutes after ordering but took another hour and a half for someone to pick it up. The whole time the app incrementally delays your wait time. This app is BS crazy such $#*!e companies can operate at such a large scale.
Unreliable waste of time -- you will be hungry for hours waiting for your food to never arrive. The platform gives you notifications that your food has been picked up, that your food will arrive soon. But the food never comes and customer support does not say why. They will only tell you that the driver will not answer the phone. They dont have reliable drivers. I theorize that grubhub will take any driver they can get because they have so many orders. There is probably zero vetting process for drivers. Once a driver gets hungry they take the food and that is that. Grubhub, a multi billion dollar company is making so much money on the high volume of orders, that they dont care if 10-20 percent of drivers are unreliable or are scamming the company and customers of their food. What a trash delivery service. Please never use grubhub. If you own stock, sell it.
We ordered from Jamba Juice and our order was supposed to be here between 6:25 and 6:35. The driver wasn't even at Jamba Juice at 6:35. I called and our drinks have been sitting around for half an our. The time was then changed that our order would be here between 7:05 and 7:15. These smoothies are supposed to be cold. What are they going to be like an hour later? Oh, now are time was changed to 6:50 to 7:00. Thanks for nothing I'm sure! Driver is James.
About 90% of my orders through GH have issues. Today, I placed an order that kept getting delayed. Two hours after the order was placed, they finally cancelled it with no explanation and to make matters worse, my refund won't be processed for three to five days.
Who just leaves pizza outside? So I'm in a training class for my new job. Pizza was ordered for lunch grubhub was set to deliver. We're at the waterfront in Renton. Well apparently the delivery guy said he couldn't get in our building, which I don't get because our class is right at the entrance with all windows and no walls. Well apparently this guy couldn't get in so he left out pizza at the entrance with the flowers... For real. That was the message. We looked and found flowers but no pizza. Awesome driver. Thanks a lot grubhub. Well at least he let us know where we could start looking.
The only reason I ordered from grubbing at all was because I was busy and didn't have time to go pick up the food myself and this company is supposed to be a food delivery service. So when my offer confirmation says food will be ready for pickup at a certain time, I was surprised and irritated, the store I ordered the food from couldn't cancel the order and grubhub couldn't do anything to help the situation either so I still had to pick it up myself. I could have just ordered it from the Food company myself if I was going to pick it up anyway. It makes no sense to me and I won't be using that company again.
My restaurant get 4.6 stars including GrubHub but in 3 yr I received 1 star 3x because of there drivers. Sad
My experience using Grubhub last night was the last straw. After multiple attempts to communicate, I received an email this morning saying I received a credit of $1.49 on an order that totaled $70.97... are you joking?
A credit of $1.49 does not even come close to remedying the inconvenience that I had to deal with last night. I had an entire family waiting for food and did not receive a single notification of my food not being delivered. Not only was it completely unprofessional and the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but I wasn't able to feed my family until 10pm because I had to go pick up the food myself from the restaurant, which ended up being completely cold.
The restaurant also mentioned that although my order was the first to come in, multiple orders via Grubhub placed after mine were picked up before my order. That is completely absurd and unacceptable. It wasn't until I had to contact customer service did they reply with such a condescending response and tone but they also said they would call me in 10 minutes from our call if a driver was not going to pick up our order but the representative never called me back. I had to make ANOTHER call only to be replied by another rude customer service representative. I really do not understand how customer service can be so bad. I have never experience anything like that before.
This entire ordeal has been nightmarish and I can ensure you that I will be very vocal about my experience to all of my friends and family. If you're using Grubhub, you need to pivot to another food delivery service because Grubhub is the absolute WORST.
First I ordered 2 pizzas that was delivered side up in a bag which was handed to my by the handles. Both pizza smeared and destroyed. Then... the driver was kind enough to return with two new pizzas. I tried to give a second chance and ordered burgers which one was missing. Salad top off and soda was actually lemonade... I feel bad for people with no cars with limited income with kids who can't eat... some people can't afford to have this happen so shame on grub hub
Ordered at 7:38pm after waiting nearly 4 hours. My food never came. Called customer service was told that someone else was bringing my food to me. Nevertheless I declined and asked for a refund. This was my first and last time ordering through grubhub... AWFUL WASTE OF TIME
Grub hub has the worst customer service ever. I recently ordered from them and was missing half my order and part was missing because they no longer had the item. Nobody called me to let me know this they just delivered it. If someone would have called me I would have ordered something else or cancelled the order. Instead they refunded me $5.86 on a $29 order. They refused to refund all the fees which is ridiculous. I have way better experiences with other food delivery apps. Going to steer clear of this one from now on.
I ordered Indian food on Sunday night through the so called Grub Hub. They lured me in with a 15% off discount in my email. With the delivery charges, taxes, and mandatory driver tip, the cost of the food was still $18 dollars more than if I would have just picked it up myself. But I was watching tv and really didn't feel like leaving my home. I ordered at 8:26 pm. By 9:45 I still didn't receive anything and I became concerned. I checked my email and tracked my order. The website said my food was delivered at 9:06pm. So I checked my front porch, no food. I immediately called the restaurant and they closed at 9:30pm. At this point I was livid. I had just spent $43 on food and it was never actually delivered. So I clicked on the Need Help link on the Grub Hub website. I then called the 1-800 number and waited for about 10 minutes because they had "an unusual high volume of calls and a representative would be with me as soon as possible." Finally, someone named "George" answered and I literally could not understand what he was saying. But we struggled through the greeting and I explained what happened. He told me that it looks like the driver waited in front of my house for 9 minutes and then left. I said ok? So why wasn't the food delivered? Why didn't he come and ring my doorbell or knock at the door? I literally put to ring my doorbell in the instructions. He told me that Grub Hub drivers are not responsible to actually go onto the property because sometimes there is no parking. I told him that wasn't a problem because I have a driveway. Then he said, "it looks like the driver called and you didn't answer." I said, "ok?" I just want a refund of my money since I never received my food. Then the bomb! Josh said, "sorry sir, we can't give you a refund, but we can offer 50% off of your next purchase." I almost lost my mind. Stone cold robbery by app! You mean to tell me... I can order food through your app, pay a premium, not have it delivered because I didn't answer my phone when the delivery driver called, while the driver is not required to actually come to my door, and then you get to keep my money?! He said with a straight voice, "I understand sir, we can offer you 50% off your next purchase, I'll send the coupon to your email." I was tricked, beaten, and robbed. I will never ever ever ever use Grub Hub ever again! I hear Door Dash is much better and has better customer service. I'm calling my credit card company this morning to try and cancel the charges and I will give Grub Hub a negative review for the worst possible customer service ever!
We ordered pizza that never arrived but said it was delivered--called GrubHub to at least get a refund--after 15 minutes on the phone I finally asked to speak to a supervisor who assured us we'd be refunded--and still waiting on that refund. Good lord. Called the restaurant to tell them of the issue and they said they've been having tons of issues with GrubHub and are thinking of going with UberEats instead. Ugh.
I ordeted my food a week and a half prior to the date it was supposed to be delivered because it was Valentine's Day. My food sat at the restaurant for over an hour and the restaurant kept telling me to cancel. When my food finally arrived it was cold and Soggy She handed me the bag I nearly dropped it because she was in a hurry to leave she didn't look at me once and dressed like a homeless person. All I got from GrubHub was a I'm so sorry for your inconvenience. A promotion coupon. I told them I don't want your coupon I will never never ever use you again. I will go out of my way and pick up my own food. And she got a pretty hefty tip too. Me bad thinking a big tip faster service. GrubHub needs to go away.
Accepted a delivery as a driver, ordered the food, went twenty minutes to the location and waited for the food to be ready. Then I find out that the place only takes cash. So, even though the delivery should never have been in Grub Hub's system, they refused to pay me for my lost time, gas and wages. Complete BS. Worst service of any Delivery driver employer out there. No one who can help to talk to and when referred to an email only driver support, I get "oh sorry but we don't pay for cancelled orders." This is horrible business and deserves zero stars not one. Do not accept the "order, pay and deliver" options from them or you may end up in the same boat

Constantly cancel orders. Keep the customers money for 3-5 business days before returning it. Overall $#*!. Use any service besides this crap. The last driver that came smelled of weed and looked like he'd been on meth binge. Then my truck got broken into the next day. Probably coincidence but I doubt it. So if you want to get robbed, have your food ride with weed (if it ever shows up) by all means order from this crap hole.
