I've finally deleted my app, multiple cancelled deliveries, accepting orders when they know the restaurant is closed and posting false delivery times and drivers... I'm DONE
This is the umpteenth time Grubhub has accepted my order, I got a confirmation that the order was being prepared, then I got another notice that it was delayed, and then it was cancelled.
The time before this, the restaurant said they do not use Grubhub at all.
This is really inexcusable.
Have ordered from grubhub twice the first order never came called the restaurant and they said they don't use grubhub but they kept saying it was on it's way we are still waiting the second time we ordered tonight they said it would be an hour but we used a credit card they said we paid with Google pay so I called the restuarant they have no record of the order grubhub is a joke stay away from grubhub
I've used this service and it's been bad 2 out of 3. Today it was 45 minutes late. The ice cream was put in with the hot food so it was not just melted but warm. Both times my order was late I sent a message and never got a responses.
Order a Pizza Location was in 1 mile and it took GRUBHUB 1hour 30m to deliver. My guests were waiting and I feel ashamed when I call customer care they simply told me they will give me 20% off on my next order. Do u think I am going to order next time with Grub hub NO WAY I will Never in my life? UE is far way better than GH. Worst experience.IF GRUBHUB doesn't have enough drivers they can simply not take orders and not waste people's time and money.
I ordered a burger and fries from a restaurant 10 min away from my house. At this time wait was 30 min. Updated to 1 hour. At 1 hr 15 min I called the restaurant who said food was ready at original time. Then updated to 1 1/2 hrs. I went on online chat with grubhub. They offered me 25% off next order. During this time the restaurant called me to say they wouldn't send food that old and made fresh. NEVER AGAIN
Absolutely worst experience I've ever had. They delivered the wrong order to us, and when I called to let them know and ask for our order to be re-delivered, they refused to set up ANY sort of compensation for our order and would not assist us in our second delivery at all. They have the WORST customer service I've ever seen, with entirely apathetic people on the line. They finish every sentence with "anything else I can help you with?" even though they never once provided any help to begin with. We waited 1 hour and did not receive our food, nor any credit to the account for a potential second attempt at ordering. Needless to say, I will never be ordering from grubhub again.
These people duped us 2X. We ordered food, waited an hour and half only to learn that restaurant was out of business. Instead of refund they issued a credit that required us to spend an additional $20 just to get the credit. Second order was canceled 20 minutes after placed which means we lost another $20. After two hours almost $100 later we went to bed hungry angry and holding a useless credit that required us to spend another $60 and quite likely not get any food. NO THANKS! STAY AWAY!
I placed an order for delivery, and Grubhub accepted my order. Less than five minutes later, they canceled my order and informed me it would take 5-10 days to refund the money they received from me. No explanation was given. Now they can use my cash interest-free for however long it takes to issue a refund for non-performance.
Terrible experience, ordered for delivery with a promo code for free delivery because I was a first time user. Never tried Grub hub before so i figured hey great. Over an hour later I have hungry kids & ticked off hubby. Yay me, I call grub hub to see what's wrong and they tell me it was ordered for pick up. Nope. But whatever, just glad I learned not to trust this delivery service. Terrible! Worst experience ever. Learned my lesson. Dont use Grub hub if you actually expect your food to be delivered!
Grubhub indicated they are associated with a restaurant in Holly Springs to which they are not contracted. The tracker app shows that the order was being prepared, they were on their way to pick it up, that they had picked it up and then BAM - your order has been cancelled. Kudos to Acme Pizza for taking my order and delivering in a timeline manner for much less than GrubHub. Shame on you Grubhub - I won't be giving you a second chance.
I order food online in Miami with grub hub. We waited 2 hours. Food never came. We called the grub hub services. They indicated that they "abandoned" our order because of a technical issue. They restaurant not us received notice of an issue. They are "looking" into giving us a refund
I have been failed both times. Toinight my order was canceled after I asked them not to. They did refund me but I wanted my food. In Texas I have had exceptional service but iin the State of Washington it has sucked. I will NEVER use this service again.
First and Only time I will ever order from them. I ordered some food from a local restaurant around my home through grub hub. I got a text from the driver and A picture of the receipt. First of all, I had paid $50 in total for our order. When I saw the picture of the receipt they had sent it was for $14. Only one order of what I needed. So I replied saying that this is not what I had ordered. He then replies with "well that's what it says on my order form" he sent me a pic of the order form and it clearly stated what I had ordered. I reply and told him that that picture clearly states what I had ordered, and I sent him a screenshot of the bill and the order from the site. About 10 minutes later, when I had already received the text that the driver was on their way, did he respond with "sorry, they were super rude. Not willing to go back in"
I replied that I had paid 50 bucks and that I would like my order. He replied with "well I could grab popeyes chicken" which had NOTHING to do with what I had ordered initially. When he showed up he tried to hand me the order and he told me to call customer service in order to get the price reduced. I told him to keep it seeing as it was the wrong order, I had already called customer service and left them with an account of what had happened.
Thankfully they were willing to send me a refund. However, they said it was going to take a week to process...
I tell you for sure I am keeping all of These texts and screenshots of what transpired just in case I don't get my money back.
Please do yourselves a favor and save the headache, do not use their service at all whatsoever.
I spent 3 hours waiting on my delivery from Wendys, I get my food and its cold; the only resolve is a coupon for my next delivery... I'll stick with Postmates from now on; god forbid I get a new order done with WARM food delivered.
I would have given one star, but they at least refunded the 20% tip, after much pushing on my part. When I placed the order, I made specific instructions on condiments. Without them, Chinese food is mehhhh, When I asked the driver, he said, "I don't fix the food, it's up to the restaurant." I called GH, and they said the Driver is responsible for following special instructions! So I said, "You mean for a $13 tip, plus the two fees I pay you, all the guy has to do is hand me a bag, & pay no attention to instructions?" With all the aggravation getting some kind of make good, it's so not worth it.
I've had nothing but problems when I order from Grubhub, from having my food ready at a restaurant and Grubhub not even assigning me a driver (this was after an hour of ordering), having it take over 2 hours to get my meal, to getting a completely wrong order. The drivers also don't know how to follow direction: I put very detailed instructions on how to get to my home because it is hard to find and every single time I order from Grubhub, sure enough, I'm getting a phone call because the driver is supposedly at my door with my food and I'm not answering... read the damn directions! I've uninstalled the grubhub app from my phone because I have way better luck with Doordash and Postmates. NEVER USE GRUBHUB
Thisv service is the worst. You place an order, then you track it, they BS you and tell you the order was received and non of this is true. They even go as far as telling you your order is 'on the way"only to send you an email that your order was canceled and it is not their fault. More BS.
I ordered from Grubhub for the first time expecting a pleasant experience. My food was delivered 1.5 hour late. I contacted Grubhub via chat and the first agent abruptly ended the chat. The second agent did not resolve my issue to my expectation. I requested a refund but only offered $10 discount on my next order. No way in hell that I am ordering again from this company. Ordering pizza directly from a pizza restaurant is better. Horrible experience!
I received two gift cards from grubhub, when i went to use them they would not work. When I contacted gift card support, it took over a week for a reply and they said they expired which was never noted anywhere. They will not reissue the credit. I literally went to use these cards a month after receiving them.
