The negative reviews about this very legitimate business just points out the state of intelligence of most of the population in the 21st century. If their hands aren't held and they're not slowly and carefully explained everything verbally, then they call it a scam. What? They have to read terms and conditions? There's not supposed to be reading. If they give their credit card information, it's not their fault if it's charged, even when the terms and conditions fully explain the TERMS AND CONDITIONS! These people are in serious trouble when they find themselves alone in the big wide world without anybody holding their hands and explaining everything to them due to their illiteracy. Do they really think they'll get away with not paying their mortgage because nobody told them what they were signing? Freeshipping.com is a completely legitimate business that doesn't deserve to be reviewed by people who choose to be uninformed.
Absolute garbage, did this 30-day trial to get a rebate on my ProFlowers order. Over a month later, still waiting on my rebate. Called customer service to cancel before my trial was up and they had already charged my card their monthly fee. When I contested it, they put me on hold and then hung up on me. Before that though, they told me my rebate was "in process" but couldn't give any sort of time when
I'd receive it. So not only did I end up paying for shipping on my flower order, I'm now out another $13 for this bogus service.
Submitted a Shari's Berries rebate they offered as a special when ordering from Shari's Berries site. They never sent my rebate and only responded that when I cancelled my trial, they would not be charging me. How kind of them. This is a scam company, and I intend to continue harassing them until they hold up to their end of the advertised deal.
I never made an account. I must have bought something off EBay and they got my info from Paypal. I have been charged monthly since March. I travel a lot so I use my card all over the states and abroad. So I missed the missed the charges. Anyway if Freeshipping responds, I am not confused about my "membership." I have no membership and have reported you for fraud.
I never signed up 4 this service I assume is a shipping business which I would have no use for. They have been taking $10.00 a month from my account fraudulently and when I called them they were extremely rude to me and would only refund $10.00. I don't care if they only stole a penny from me I'm not stopping till all my money is returned.
Hi Pam, I apologize for any confusion regarding the monthly membership fee. Please reach out directly at Help@FreeShipping.com and I will be happy to help with a refund.
Signed up for rebate, not realizing I was gonna be charged the 12.97. Went to cancel exactly a week from my sign up date and didn't get my money back. They need to advertise a 6 day trial because I was literally charged a week from the date at like 4 am my time. They should at least wait the full week before trying to charge you. Its dumb.
Hi Amber, I am unable to locate your account using the information given here. However, I would be more than happy to refund that back to you. Can you contact me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Thanks!
I purchased some flowers and elected to use this service to get a discount on the shipping of the flowers. I didn't realize that I had inadvertently signed up for a monthly subscription service, so was billed 12.97 for several months until I realized what was going on. I feel tricked into these charges. I never used the service after the first month. Watch out.

I have been a member for a number of years and this actually turned out to be a good deal for me because I buy almost everything on line. I had cancelled my membership and then recently signed up again. This time I have had some issues receiving cash back for purchases. I have written three times and still have no answer. So, not so happy this time around.
Hi Debra,
I'm sorry to hear about this experience. Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to assist you.

This is the biggest SCAM on earth! My mother thought she was getting a rebate of $10 for shipping from a high end clothier instead was charged &89 for a service she didn't even know existed. Shame on the clothier for even putting this information on their invoices implying that the customer is getting a rebate from them and not a third party scammer. We need to stop these kine of internet traps.
I too got suckered in by their "free shipping" deal when I ordered something online... honestly forgot about it, and then I discover today they debited my account $12.97. I want a refund and am not happy
Hi Brent, I have cancelled your account and issued a refund for this. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thanks!
It looked like a deal from Kohl's Dept Store after I had placed an order but IT IS NOT! Can't get an email to pull up on them for customer service and the 800 listed doesn't seem to work either. Turning this over to the Better Business Bureau after no response. I replied to the one and only email received from them saying its a 7 day free trial then a monthly charge there after. Deceptive advertising! Thought Kohl's was giving me free shipping for ordering online from them for the first time! BEWARE! If I could give them a zero I would.
Hi Dena,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion about our site. Kohl's is one of the partners we work with. If you made a purchase from Kohl's, you likely signed up with us after accepting the offer to try FreeShipping.com free for 7 days. When signing up for a membership with us, all users opt to provide their credit card information. Directly above where credit card details are entered, it is stated to users that if they do not cancel their account within the 7-day trial period, they will be subject to our monthly membership fee if they would like to continue their access to our benefits. Our members get 10% cash back, free shipping, free return shipping, price protection, price comparison and all the latest coupons at over 1,000 online retailers.
If you have any questions regarding our service, please feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com or call our customer service line at 1-800-869-5597. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
They billed me twice after I contacted them to refund the money. I have never ordered anything online in the prior 2 months since they started deducting money from my account. I do not know how they got hold of my credit card account. I have been fighting with them for 3 months and they refuse to refund the full amount they owe me. This is a big scam.

Freeshipping.com Customer Service
Great customer service. After signing up I pretty much changed my mind right away and cancelled the same day. I called them to tell them and to ask for a refund of the $1.97 and they gave it back to me. Over a month later I was surprised to receive the $10 check in the mail!
Hi Kayleigh,
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We are happy to hear you received your first savings check.
Thanks & Happy Shopping!

Overall, I have found if you take the time to learn how to use it, you can save a lot of money. Best ongoing cash back out there, and rebates on your shipping charges if the store doesnt already have it and returns are free for everything you buy with fed ex.
I had a $12.97 fee pop up on my bank statement for 2 months. I had inadvertently approved a site for freeshipping I assume but the fee that appeared a month later was NOT DISCLOSED... which sucked... but at least when I called the number *******597 very little wait time and... the rep Nida. Game me full credit. So in a brief synopsis if your going to get screwed for NON-DISCLOSED charges at least they are fair and quick about the credit back. LOL...
Hi Jay,
We’re sorry to hear about the confusion regarding a membership with us, but glad to hear it all worked out in the end!
We are a subscription-based online shopping site that offers members multiple savings benefits at over 1,000 online retailers. The details of the monthly fee and the 7-day free trial are located on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information. These details state that if you choose to remain a member past your trial period, you are subject to the $12.97 monthly fee. If you would not like to stay on board, you must cancel your membership within your 7-day trial period.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us at help@freeshipping.com, and we’d be happy to assist you. Thanks!

Make sure you read the terms very carefully otherwise they will terminate your membership and take away your cash back for any unreasonable excuse. Don't trust them. I had a bad experience with this website and they took away couple hundred dollars cash back. DON'T sign up for this stupid membership.
Hi Vincent, we do have some terms and conditions around improper use of our program. You are only allowed one membership per household and FreeShipping.com is intended for personal use only. If we declined your rebates due to improper behavior, you should have gotten an email from us explaining why. We also work with you to ensure that we are not making a harsh decision and ask for further documentation to ensure fairness for all of our members.
If you still have questions regarding why your account was closed down, please let me know. You can email me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com and I'd be more than happy to help. Thanks!
Horrible! I don't even know how I ended up being roped into this! When I called the credit card to inquire what this charge was for, they stated that this charge has been disputed many times because customers are not aware how they are agreeing to this subscription. Shame on freeshipping!
Hi Karen,
I apologize for any confusion regarding the membership fee. Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com for assistance.
Thanks,

Trying to order from shari's berries and this thing pops up saying you can get free shipping. You think oh that's nice shari's berries must have some kind of deal with them so you get free shipping. You fill it out and do not get free shipping on your order (from shari's berries who probably never heard of them) and complain to shari's berries who thankfully give you free shipping. You try to figure out who this site is unsuccessfully and find it now two months in a row on your credit card bill. Being charged $12.97 once and not getting free shipping is bad enough but apparently they intend to charge you something for nothing every month.
Hi Vindaloo, I would be more than happy to help you with this. Once you signed up, you would have had to fill out the introductory rebate form. There was a green banner across the top of the screen that said "Claim your Introductory Rebate here." Unfortunately, I am unable to locate an account using the information shown below, please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com. Thanks!
The Cash back that they offer has many hoops for you to jump through and even after fling every rule the cash back does not materialize. I would have been better off to use Rakuten or topcashback for FREE
Why are you charging me $19.99 I don't use it anymore this is twice your charge me please cancel it refund my money back into my account at once 😡
Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!
Answer: Hello - No problem, I have sent confirmation of this to your email.
Answer: Hi Carla, Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to issue a refund for the membership fee. Thanks! Samantha Customer Support Supervisor

Hi Jennifer, I do see that you submit your rebate online, however we never received your back up documentation. As a courtesy, I have processed that rebate for you. Please allow 2-5 business days for this to be sent out to you. Thanks!
