Be careful of their delivery policy, specifically the "next day delivery".
"Next day" is based on when they process your payment not when you pay for your goods, the money may have left your account but they say they take a while to receive payment.
So if ordering between 6pm-11pm and expecting next-day delivery... don't!
Delivery terms are hidden at the bottom of their website but do not appear anywhere during checkout to be clear.
It is pretty poor standards, and you are better off buying on Amazon and paying for Amazon prime delivery for next day guaranteed

E (Exceptional, Excellent) Buyer

We all love a bargain don't we? Go on you do? Admit it; yes? I'm glad we all agree. You also want, good service, a good and easy to use website and reasonable or free (but fast) delivery. Yes, yes, then stop reading this drivel and go to the Ebuyer website. Still here, then I will carry on...

I was looking for a new printer and decided on a brother 84-in-one (not really just a 4-in-one) multi functional (plays the violin) printer. As I looked for the best price I came upon Ebuyer and soon discovered that their price was by far the best. Their website was easy to use and delivery (it's all part of the cost of the goods) was free. The printer was duly ordered, paid for, a confirmation received and very quickly delivered. So there you go. Why are you still reading this twaddle? I told you before, go to the Ebuyer website and see for yourself...

Placed an order for a next day delivery, by the evening the order still showed as placed but not processed or shipped, left an email and got no response. 2 days later with 3 further emails and an hour on hold the order still showed no progress. Finally got through on the live chat to be told the order had been cancelled (3 days later now it is STILL showing as placed, not cancelled, and my money has been taken, the product page only now shows out of stock), and that I should be receiving my refund in 3-5 working days. Awful communication, awful treatment of customers.

Eventually I got the 'we aren't going to do anything about it' line. So they kept the entire savings, wasted my time and energy, and showed they were not prepared to stand behind their products. I was actually told that even though they had the exact same monitor in stock, because they changed their internal reference number for it the monitor was considered a different item. Shockingly poor customer service, the kind that would put a company out of business in most countries.

I bought a new monitor from a different company. My school's tech order is going to a different company. I gave a friend of mine £7, the difference between eBuyer's price and another company, to go with the other company. I am not finished.

Faulty Tech and Poor Returns

I bought a computer and monitor bundle last November. I paid more than I originally intended, but it was a high spec monitor (an MSi G27C2) for what looked like a good bundle price.

I imagine the monitor was in the bundle because the product wasn't very good. After 6 months it went completely faulty. Online searches turned up others had the same problem with it. No problem, it's under warranty, right?

Eventually eBuyer confirmed it was indeed faulty. I was told they couldn't repair it and they didn't have any in stock, so they were giving me a refund. This despite the fact they had the EXACT SAME Msi G27C2 monitor for sale and in stock on their site.

But they didn't refund the full monitor price so I could replace it. And they didn't offer me like-for-like. What they did do is offer me half the price for it, in other words knocking off the full savings of getting the bundle. They even were going to charge me £12 for expected wear and tear on the defective monitor they sold me.

Don't buy from eBuyer. Just don't. If your product works you've saved what, a fiver? If it doesn't, be prepared to make a dozen calls, be on hold for hours, and get screwed in the deal.

They are hopeless

Placed my order 23/11/2018, failed to arrive after 10 days, they reordered, item arrived, did not work, returned, they reordered, item arrived, did not work, I requested refund, got their email confirming refund within 3 working days timed 0845 8/1/2019, at midday 16/1/2019 still no refund.
Suggest you buy elsewhere.

The first issue is they use Yodel as there delivery company, a company that can not delivery! Second is Ebuyer's customer service, even though there delivery company advise them the item is being returned. They will not refund you your money until they have there goods back in there warehouse and inspected, even if the item has never reached the delivery address. Ebuyer and Yodel Customer Service is a disgrace!

Avoid, company is terrible to deal with

Avoid, this company have tried to scam me. Placed an order with next day delivery on a Monday, nearly £7 for next day delivery. The item wasn't even dispatched for two days, then was sent via yodel, the same courier they use for free delivery. Complete scam.

Over a week later the tracking was updated as delivered but nothing was delivered to me. I contact yodel and they admit that the GPS and evidence provided by their driver suggests it was delivered to completely the wrong address. Ebuyer won't accept it's been delivered to the wrong address and refuse refund. They claim a grainy photo of a parcel in a letterbox that's not even my front door is proof of delivery and maintain the item was delivered to me. To top it all off the customer service staff were slow, and incredibly rude. Essentially accusing me of stealing the item even though I could prove their tracking was incorrect and offered to provide evidence, photos of my house (that don't match the delivery proof) and cctv of the whole day that they claimed the item was delivered. Had to place a chargeback on my credit card to get my money back, avoid at all costs.

My 'next day delivery' order has not arrived for a week with ebuyer telling me they are 'waiting for feedback from the courier'. I contacted the courier service myself to find out they TOLD Ebuyer 5 days ago that my package was 'lost in transit' (likely stolen). Ebuyer are lying scammers that now aren't replying to my emails. I'll likely have to contact my bank to fix this.
Do not trouble yourself with these scammers.

New laptop

Went through checkout for a GPU, got to the payment page and paid for it. Then the site glitched, they took the money from my account, then said there was an error and didn't place the order.

Now they have £300 of my money, and I don't even have a receipt.

Awful way to do business.

After spending a small fortune purchasing for from Ebuyer I needed to return a set of relatively cheap (<£20) headphones. This was a painful and disappointing experience as they insisted on the return of peripherals such as USB cable and pouch. My attempts to speak to the returns team came across a brick wall. I am dissapointed with the after-sales attitude of the company and I intend not purchase from them again.

Ebuyer.com closed my account without telling me because I opened a PayPal dispute for items they CONFIRMED that I didn't receive. This is their way of trying to prevent me from getting the proof of them admitting this and promising me a refund. Nearly £200 and they confirmed that the item was not delivered to me via their GPS tracking of the items. I spoke back and forth with them for several weeks to try to get it resolved - they kept insisting I fill out a claim form that I never received. So I escalated to PayPal on the last day. I tried to log onto ebuyer a few days later, via an enote they sent to me... Account is inactive. Shady much?

I have been a customer since they started in 2000. They were not so good in those days but each time I had an issue it was sorted. I don't mind the odd problem provided a solution is offered and they helped me each time. There delivery cut-off time is amazing. I was working on a family laptop and needed a part ASAP so I checked the prices on-line. Ebuyer had the best price and what's more I ordered at 22:10 and could still have NEXT DAY delivery! I use them a lot and it is so long ago since I had one I cannot remember a problem!

I recently bought a computer part from ebuyer & when it arrived it was the wrong model, so I contacted them to return the item & after 2 phone calls I received a returns(RMA) number & was instructed to arrange with their chosen courier a day to collect the item, quite difficult as I work almost all weekdays & there is no-one at home to be in for the collection. I could not find time to be in before I was off out of the country for 3 weeks & when I returned ebuyer had cancelled my RMA. So I contacted them(at first pointlessly by email as their returns email is unattended) then by phone. After being kept on the phone for over 15 minutes I was eventually told it was too late & the item was discontinued now anyway so they didn't want it back. So be very careful if you are thinking about buying anything from ebuyer. A very poor experience that I shall not risk repeating

Terrible Company

Damaged goods are not covered under warranty because they would not have passed quality control with damage because it would have failed all tests, is there excuse, no return and no refund. Buyers beware

I initially ordered a new pc and some parts on 29/11/2019 which arrived the next day. However, the pc would not turn on. So after calling them they said they would email call or email me about how to diagnose/fix it. After 3 days they got back to me and said that it needed returned and that it would be returned in 3-5 days. I received my second pc after 15 days of waiting. When I unpacked it it was also faulty and had to go through the same process to get it returned. It is now 22/1/2020 and I have still not received a working product.

I purchased a fairly basic laptop thinking it should be powerful enough to run a software I require. After receiving the laptop and installing the software it basically ran out of ram. I contact ebuyer about 4 days after and explained the situation and they said fine please return it. I purchased a higher spec laptop in the meantime from them and then returned it. Approx 3 weeks later they inform me the laptop is damaged and they won't accept the return, it was not damaged when it left me and packaged in original packaging for the return. Communication was also useless. I would advice to purchase a computer or other hardware from somewhere else as if you need to return it you more than likely won't have a good experience.

Good customer service

I ordered a LG 43 inch and it came with the screen dinted on the left side, I contacted customer service and told them about the issue, they quickly organised a collection and delivery for my new tv. These things happen, but it was dealt with very good and I am pleased with the customer service.

SCAMMERS

Absolutely shambles. Ordered Ryzen 1700 for £ 206.98 online using my credit card. Confirmation received that order has gone through. 8 hours later received an email saying that order has converted into quote because incorrect CC details or bank declined both have no truths in it.

1. CC details will immediately decline the payment not after 8 hours

2. I spoke with my bank and they said we have not returned any payments at all. Ebuyers did not charge us.

Dont trust them or their deals again. Nobody should.

Used Ebuyer for 15 years and more, recently got a 9th gen intel board that arrived with an outdated bios that wouldn't support a 9th gen cpu, sent it back ( after a load of hassle) to have the bios updated only to be told there was a bent pin! Rubbish, the board was brand new, so they sent it back to me with no bios update and washed their hands if it! Then a faulty disk station which I ended up getting the manufacture and consumer rights involved in cause they were doing their best to shirk that one too, bye bye Ebuyer, you absolutely suck at customer service so me and hopefully everyone else will go elsewhere to a company who gives a $#*!, bunch of rude useless idiots.
