Bought a product that arrived faulty. They refused to refund or accept the item back despite my consumer rights (that were apparently waivered as part of their terms and conditions). Will never be using them again.

Good range of items at reasonable prices, but there is always a caveat:
Next day delivery is 50/50 hit and miss. Customer services are impossible to get a hold of (No replies to emails, eNotes and I've been on hold for nearly 3 hours now. At this point I'm only keeping the phone call going out of a sense of morbid curiosity).
I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Maybe try Amazon or Scan.com

Having spent much of my hard earned money here several times, my experience over the years has degraded at a huge fast pace. Their customer service has become shocking and you are patronised, everyone is an "expert" apparently.
There is absolutely no going the extra mile to help a client out which is really disappointing, previously I wouldn't have chosen to spend my money on tech anywhere else and now I despise having to even contact or be subjected to any interaction with this company.
Last year I would've given you 5 starts but I'm glad I saved my review for now, I will never buy anything at ebuyer again and will do my very best to ensure I influence as many people as I know to do the same.

Disgusting really!

Despite using ebuyer since 2005, I won't be using them again. They make excuses for why they can't fulfil a 1 day delivery option and then their rude cs reps inform you that it doesn't matter because there is no difference in price between 1 day delivery and 3 day delivery. Well, if that's the case then why don't they call it 1-3 day delivery instead!

I ordered some PC parts on 29/11/2019. After not receiving anything on the following Monday when everything was due they said there was an issue with pricing on an item and another item was OOS. I had to phone them to get this info as they didn't bother emailing me to inform me about it.

It's 03/12/2019 and I'm STILL waiting for the rest of my order and NOBODY from ebuyer is telling me what's going on.

This is not the way to treat customers, especially ones who have been using ebuyer since 2005!

Sort it out ebuyer. You suck!

Appalling service
December 12, 2017

Last week I put in an order nearly £800 with this company as I'm working on a build. After days of no dispatch. Contact them, a reply back, your order wont be getting sent out until tomorrow. So unlike they're competitors who do either the same price or less and next day delivery and same day dispatch. This company doesn't send anything off until at least 5 days. Which is strange as its meant to be delivered within 5 days. So I ask for a refund so I can get it else where and next day and I'm completely ignored. Appalling service will never use again. I was going to get most my parts from ebuyer for the build now Im not gona to buy from them ever again. AVOID!

I did not receive my package. I wanted to be nice and allow some time for delivery delays with Coronavirus so I gave it 2 weeks before bringing it to their attention. I was told that they can't do anything because I reported it 7 days too late. And I don't get my money back even if it doesn't show up (which is looking likely).

I paid 60 pounds and didn't receive my item, and cannot get a refund. I'm amazed they have this policy.

I've started a charge back on my card so will get the funds back.

PSA if something like this happened to you with Ebuyer or another shady company: contact your bank or credit card company and you can get the money returned, they usually side with the customer without many questions asked.

Total waste of time
June 27, 2019

Bought a Pocophone F1 from them (£280), could have got it from the official Xiaomi website for £230 (7-9 days delivery) but I wanted it next day from a UK supplier... now about 2 weeks later I've no phone or money, never even saw the package. Yodel said it arrived damaged and was returned to Ebuyer. Tried to get a refund and they gave me the runaround.
Lost patience with them and opened up a PayPal refund instead.

Worst ever service
September 8, 2018

I haven't seen a much deadlier combo than Ebuyer + Yodel. Bought a gaming PC + Keyboard worth £1500 & paid extra for one day delivery. 3 days gone by and all I get delivered every time is just the keyboard.

In the meanwhile, trying to collect my stuff from Yodel, they told me
1. That the PC tower has now shrunk to the size of keyboard and all I order is in this keyboard sized box.
2. They blamed me for ordering from Ebuyer.
3. Blamed me for booking for collection using the correct information provided to me by Ebuyer.
4. Blamed Ebuyer for not adhering to the rules set by Yodel.

After all this, I called Ebuyer for help. The customer service assured I will get the delivery today. And here comes again my PC tower shrunk to the size of the same keyboard which I left in Yodel collection office.

Sold us a NAS drive that was only suitable for Windows 7 computers, an operating system that has been obsolete for nearly half a decade. Requested 3 callbacks, which never happened, and denied any responsibility for it. We've spent a lot of money recently with them, and will now be finding another supplier, all for the sake of a £130 NAS drive, which we would've replaced with another from them anyway. It seems they wish to cut their nose off, just to spite their face. Very disappointing.

I recently bought some RAM, only to realised I had bought the wrong one and wanted to exchange it, the box was unopened and they charged me a 20% restocking fee. Absolute joke. So glad I didn't order £5,000 worth of equipment for my business, then to return in exchange for upgraded equipment

I bought a a gaming PC from Ebuyer the motherboard M. 2 slot broke away. I replaced this at cost to myself, due Ebuyer stating it was my fault. The slot was not installed correctly. Due the computer being a birthday gift for my son. I fixed it. I informed Ebuyer of this when the Gigabyte card failed. This was replaced the second one then failed and they now refuse to replace the second card. Stating the lack of graphics cards and couriers breaking cards. Ebuyer fail to honour their customer rights. Do not buy from Ebuyer.

Poor service, constantly
September 7, 2020

I ordered a blueray player, network switch and CAT5 cables but they messed up and changed my order sending me an SSD hard disk. I called them and they said they'll get back to me but they didn't. This is a repeated poor service from ebuyer, I now no longer shop with them at all, they are on my black list, just so much hassle. Oh and they are also getting my reviews removed from other sites, make of that as you will.

Having thought id purchased a expensive gift for my son for xmas in the black friday deals and veryfying security to my banks satisfaction ebuyer held my money for days demanding utility bills passport all because i wanted it delivered to my sisters same surname i might add now sales are done they have returned my money after sending them all the details they asked i am now without a gift or a black friday deal raging is not the word! Ruined my super gift wasted hours of my time and now he has no computer that id saved up for months to buy.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
November 18, 2020

Dreadful experience. Pre-ordered a PS5 2 months ago, only a day after they put on their website that pre-order doesn't secure stock on launch. Radio silence since, I've called every day this week to check in and every customer service rep has a different story. Finally someone tells me that I have not been allocated stock and I have to wait until Christmas. Since when does pre-order 2 months in advance not guarantee you stock? Will NEVER buy from this company again. Rubbish communication and total scammers.

If I could give this company no stars I would. The delivery is hopeless, was told 2 different delivery times, was told the item could be delivered up to 9 pm. Waited in all day and evening. Called customer service and was told by Emma they couldn't help. I hope they record the call for staff training. There are many companies out there sell the same items at the same prices so please avoid this one if you want a nice transaction.

There is no option for zero stars which is closer to the service.

Items ordered were delivered late on 2 seperate orders. Items were damaged and I have been chasing a return for nearly a month.

No collection when arranged, they arrived a week later than booked. Threatened a £10 a day charge but didn't pay £10 for the week of missed collections.

It has taken a week for their courier to receive the damaged return.

I am still waiting for updates, I have to raise enotes and tweet to get any kind of update. Communication is diabolical.

I've used eBuyer for many years but after this, never again.

Ordered a TV set. The payment cleared the same day 2 December. Never received a tracking number. Emailed several times. No replies. Today is 25 December, still no reply.
My credit card processing center is now trying to reach them. If they can't reach them, they are going to reverse the charge.

I have now sat on hold for over an hour twice.
Both times my call has been cut off.
I need to discuss my order.
When placing the order the site would not let me create an account.
Their website states their is a live chat function.
This is no where to be found.
If they can not answer a phone in 2 hours I will be canceling my order, as any faith I had, has now gone.

Bag of rice!

Avoid this company at all costs! Bought a zotac 3090 for £1600, the order and delivery was fine!. Excited i opened the package to see a bag of rice! I contacted ebuyers awfull support who assured me they would fix this! Only to be told a week later they are no longer following up on this as "the correct item was sent" please folks avoid this awfull company.

Avoid - they use YODAL for deliveries!

It's not clear from the ebuyer website, but they use Yodal for deliveries. If I had known, I would not have bought from them. It was on time, but true to form, a rubbish delivery. When a battered van parked by mounting the kerb at an angle, yet still managing to block the road - I thought, this must be Yodal!

As a vulnerable household, I asked the delivery driver to just place the package on the doorstep so I could pick it up, as per the Yodal covid procedure stated on their website. But he refused. He wanted to hand it to me directly. He then threatened to take the parcel away with him, before finally relenting and dropping it carelessly on the floor.

This is poor behaviour from the driver, but most likely a product of the companies procedures, treatment of staff and training, so I can't blame him too much. AVOID.
