I honestly have a hard time understanding how a company this terrible at providing a service is still in business. Never have I to this point in time ever had the displeasure of dealing with such complete and utter incompetence from virtually every single employee that works here. These people are literally professional time wasters with zero respect for you as a customer.

The delivery driver claims to attempt delivery twice which is either a complete lie or they are flat out too damn lazy to get off their asses and ring your door bell despite being home with the lights visibly on. Funny how they make such bull$#*! claims yet my closed circuit video surveillance shows nothing during the time frame their call center reps say they were at my house. No knock, no door bell ring, no delivery card notice. Nothing. Call center rep then promises a third delivery the following day and of course the driver does not show up again and they couldn't be bothered to have the decency to inform me despite demanding I provide them with my personal phone number.

Trying to get a hold of these imbeciles since has been nearly impossible with their garbage holiday hours that makes you wonder if anyone actually works here at all. If I worked as little as these useless fools do, I would be homeless.

18 days later and my package is still not delivered, the tracking states it's been "delayed" for the last 10 straight days before finally not having the status updated any further at all.

Even more ridiculous is the bill they have sent me in the mail during this time. They apparently want payment for a package that has not been delivered and has stopped receiving tracking updates. Sorry DHL, I will not be paying you for nothing and quite frankly I'm sick of my time being disrespected. You can return the package and I will keep my money. I'd much rather it go to a respectable business like Fedex that isn't full of compulsive liars and mouth breathers making empty promises.

A LIVERPOOL TRADESMAN
November 2, 2022

I came to the DHL branch in South Liverpool at 11.35am 2nd November 2022 and was met by a lady with a name tag on known as Karen, what rude, abrupt, arrogant, and Impolite staff member she was, appalling in her mannerism and customer service approach. I am dumbfounded and would not of believed that such a reputable company as DHL would employ such a person to work on the front desk in the customer service department. I felt the whole experience offputting. I fully understand that sending goods abroad has to be checked individually and personal items must be looked at and inspected for security measures and procedures must be followed. I fully understand this and have no issues with this procedure, however the staff member doing this job is absolutely dreadful. Being in business myself I am of the firm belief that providing good customer service/satisfaction is imperative and of paramount importance along with politeness and courtesy is all part of a procedure in dealing with the clients.

CAN NOT, WOULD NOT, WILL NOT, AND SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Ordered two separate things from one website. The things i ordered LAST CAME FIRST WITH USPS & DHL is showing delay after delay with NO HELP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. Like the absolute $#*!n worst!

DHL Fraud Company | Never Book International Shipment with them | DHL will say Shipment is Stuck with Custom Clearance Event even though all requested document submitted | Not providing any Indian Customs document | Asking additional $70 to return the shipment else threatning they will destroy the shipment.
If you want this kind of customer service sure go ahead and get harrased by these folk, luckly my package item was not costly and I dont really bother anymore, but I want to expose they international shipment tactics to extract money.
Sent a hard drive from USA to INDIA (Delhi) with some wedding data, DHL says the package is detained by Delhi Customs and DHL is asking $70 (non duty etc) to be paid in order to process the return shipment and not providing any document from Indian Customs

They just put the status in Custom Clearance and everyday the a new record entry happens but they are waiting for me to pay first so they can either return the shipment.
Never ever again. Pay few bucks extra and ship with Fedex.

DHL delivered to UNKNOWN ADDRESS on WRONG DATE according to customer service on phone and email. Spent all afternoon trying to locate package after receiving voicemail message from DHL at phone number that "was not operating at this time" when I attempted to return the call in less than 30 minutes. Was told by email that package was going to be left outside at the door of the correct delivery address with was the post office for my POB, because DHL doesn't deliver to secured post office boxes, and DHL apparently would prefer to leave packages outside, unattended, in harsh weather of a progressive rain, sleet and snowstorm. Contacted multiple customer service agents by 800# and email to NO AVAIL. Was informed by email that once the package is located, I get the privilege of driving 98 miles round trip to pick up my package myself once the package is located. Is this the service DHL provides after I was charged almost $40 to ship a lightweight, unlined coat and 2 foldable nylon tote bags?

It takes 48 hours fror them to receive that pament has been made. Terrible customer service.
They never send invoices. They expect the customer to find on line what is owed. No notice until they threaten no service.

Liars and horrible delivery services

An order from Harrods was to be delivered before Christmas, I tracked it consistently and when it said delivered I was shocked to see an image that was NOT my door. I live in a complex with multiple buildings. Each building has its own address. And each building has the same condo door numbers but in different numbered buildings so yes they delivered to the right numbered door but NOT at the RIGHT address. So the door looked very different. My door had a different pattern carved in the door. The locks on the door looked different. The door number was in a different location. There was a ring doorbell on my door and NOT the door they delivered to. I sent them a photo of the door they posted as delivered to and my door explaining the difference. I kept receiving those cut and past emails about they were researching it. And each time I replied with the images of the wrong door they deliver to and my door. Finally they came back with the investigation that they had delivered to the correct address HOW ODD were they BLIND. So I had to investigate myself. There are 197 units in this grouping of different building numbers. So I had my walking shoes on. Two buildings up from my building at the WRONG ADDRESS I found the door they had snapped in their original proof of delivery. The occupant did have the package and from the way they reacted was probably going to keep it. To make matters worse for the horrible DHL delivery service not only could they NOT read the proper property address, they could not read the instructions I had placed on the original delivery from #Harrods The instructions stated it was a back building not a front building. They delivered to a front building at the wrong address. Then they lied about it. Never use DHL, they have a bad reputation for a reason. User's recommendation: Never use DHL

2 weeks ago I attempted to utilize DHL's same day delivery. When filling out all the information and up to the point after payment their website showed it would be picked up at 1045 and delivered by end of day.
As this FedEx was for sensitive documents I was shipping for my CFO I was fastidious in watching the tracking. The package was picked up within 5 min of the expected pickup time by the promised courier. Even after that the package showed and expected delivery of end of the day.
Once it reached Denver the ETA updated to the next Monday. It was currently a Thurs. I immediately called customer care to figure out what was going on. I was told by the rep all their packages take 3 business days. I asked why they advertise same day shipping then and got no answer.
I indicated I needed the package returned to me then so I could FedEx it before 5 pm.
The request was put in. This was between 12--1230
Around 2 I had no had any alerts when the package would be returned. I called again and was told they weren't sure if they could get it to me. I explained how important these documents were and needed them do be delivered at latest tomorrow or they needed to get it to me today. I even indicated I would send them a FedEx label if the courier could get the package to a nearby FedEx store so they wouldn't have to drive the hour down from Denver. They denied the FedEx option and told me they couldn't do anything. I finally said fine and to have the package sent along and it would just have to arrive Monday. This would cause issues, but at least it would get where it needed to. They didn't get the package there until another day later after being told it would be there Monday for sure as they have flights going out all weekend. I filed 2 complaints directly with DHL with no response. This kind of customer service is abysmal. We set the package for same day delivery and it ended up being delivered 5 days later.

After having made an online order through a website from abroad, i chose the DHL option over the simple method. HUGE MISTAKE. In that point, after having paid the hole amount of DHL, THEY DID NOT EVER INFORMED ME that for orders over 30$ NOT ONLY I HAD TO PAY TAXES but also to pay another amount for their services. Then after having made the order they informed me that my order has been stopped for clearance, and they informed me that i had to pay taxes WITHOUT INFORMING ME ABOUT OTHER EXTRA CHARGES. After many days i received an email that informed me about extra costs apart from the taxes BIGGER EVEN THAN THE TAXES. When i called them to try solve the issue and asked them what was all about, they just told me that was the mistake of their employe and "ok we are human and we do mistake and forget to inform you". I asked politely the supervisor to find a solution and i accepted to pay the taxes but not the other costs.

SUPERVISOR was fully unable to find a solution (even the employee was more helpful) and she consisted that it was not her mistake and can do anything. I am really frustrated about all my inconvenience. THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND NOT HELPUL

CRIMINAL EXCHANGE
September 7, 2023

This is VERY BAD service and does not require a single star. The package was to be delivered to us yesterday 9-6-2023. Our office was OPEN and operating with a staff of 05. The office has a functioning doorbell and entry door CAMERA as well. No one came.
However we received a call from DHL TEL # *******090 saying the driver attempted delivery
And no one was available at the delivery address. We immediately called the above DHL TEL # *******090 but no one answered. Called again a couple of time and no one answered.
When we called DHL we were given automated options to pick up the package from their authorized service center which is about 8 miles away. The agent who informed me where the authorized service center was did not have the SERVICE CENTER tel #. I did google that and got the tel # from the address and called them, They told me they did not receive any DHL deliveries yesterday 09-06-2023 and today 09-08-2023 up to 11.489 am.
DHL was unable to give me any indication when the package would arrive.
In the meantime, the merchandise in the package was to be checked for quality and sent to LONDON for an URGENT show.
Now time is running out. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Now the customer in LONDON is mad at us and probably will drop us! We have a few more days.
The financial part of the transaction went off with clockwork precision. No delays on our part.
They got their money.
In business and in life every transaction is an exchange.
1) Even Exchange. (Service and product for the agreed fee)
2) Exchange in abundance.(Service and product for the agreed fee plus going an extra step to assist complete the transaction)
3) Criminal exchange. ( Service falling way below the agreed upon terms)

Guess what we received so far is the "Criminal Exchange".

I mailed one 2 pound package from a DHL storefront in USA to Bangkok which cost 115 dollars, although the website said it would be around 60-80 dollars. It made it to Bangkok within a few days but upon arrival, it was held up in customs. A DHL rep called around 3 days later and left a message saying they did not know why it was being held, they would try calling the handlers in Bangkok to find out. Instead of just sitting and waiting, I called the recieving party and had them call the DHL that was holding the package. Turns out all they needed was some info from the receiver. Why did they not just call her, since the recievers number is written on the invoice? Ok. So a week after arriving at customs, after the help of the sending and recieving parties, they got the info they needed to release the package from customs. Next, when they sent it out for delivery, they told the reciever there was over 200 dollars in addidional fees and taxes before they could release it to her. Or the package would be destroyed. This amount was completely ridiculous since the value of the package was around 100 dollars so I told DHL we wouldn't pay it. I asked why its so expensive and they told me because of the weight (16.73 Kilograms)... So I guess somehow the DHL added a package to my shipment along the way. Now they are emailing ME, NOT THEIR DHL BUDDIES for a transit receipt, which I do not have. So now it has been 2 weeks, the package is spoiled and I am still waiting for the people at DHL to correct their mistakes. And the phone line takes 45 minutes to get a representative. I WILL NEVER CHOOSE DHL AGAIN!
