I was on 2.5 weeks leave when DHL sent the invoice. After I returned, I took a couple of days to clear my inbox and finally got to the DHL billing email, I submitted for processing. Then I received another email from DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM, saying that our account is under suspension. I replied to this email apologizing for the delay and explained that I just returned from my leave and had submitted the invoice and that the payment would be processed on Friday. Our payment run is on every Friday. To that, this DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM replied -
"As a one-time exception, we will extend the deadline until Friday, 21st February 2025.
If payment is not received by then, we will place the account on credit stop."
Does this employee think he/she is a big shot? Fancy threatening us with these statements over a bill of $54? Putting our account on suspension and on credit stop? Does DHL think that they are the only international shipping company in Singapore? We are not owing them millions for months, for goodness sake.
I am not impressed with DHL's attitude on this.
DHL is the worst courier I've ever had the displeasure of unfortunately dealing with and it's not even close. Not only do they deliver packages 18 days late without providing so much as an apology but to add insult to injury, still expect full price for this absolutely abysmal performance where their customer service literally couldn't care less how much their ineptitude inconveniences customers. Then if that wasn't bad enough, they demand an additional $46 in arbitrary extortionist "fees" for no justifiable or logical reason which is absurd. Customs or duties one might think. However, this wasn't the case as I instead cleared the package myself and was only charged $5 by the government. So what's the extra ridiculous arbitrary $41 for due on delivery? An absolute mystery. Nothing but a hidden additional nontransparent fee for providing the slowest, most terrible service in the industry. Had I simply paid their greedy extortionist charge instead of clearing the package with customs myself, (which literally took less than 10 minutes) I would have paid more in BS shipping costs alone than the contents within the package were worth.
If you value your time, money, sanity and expect to not be disrespected after paying already outrageous shipping costs go else where. Literally anyone could do better for less.
Our items were returned without notice. Customer service said it was due to a missing email address and promised a follow-up email, which never came. When I called again, they claimed customs stopped the package in Franklin Park, Illinois, and promised a call in two hours, which also never happened. This has been a terrible experience—customer service is unhelpful, offering no solutions. We'll follow up with our shipper to file a claim. I will never use DHL again, as they never explained why customs stopped the shipment.
It's been over 3 weeks since sending a package from Germany to Florida.

This is the second time something is being sent to me using dhl and same thing. I ordered last friday its now thursday and still stuck in a warehouse in TX for the last 3 days awaiting departure. Worst service ever Do Not Use if you want your package.!

DHL lost my package, and I've been trying to get a refund for weeks with no success. Their support team keeps giving me the runaround. I won't be using their services again.
I paid premium shipping fees for a package to be picked up on 25 Apr and delivered by 27 Apr. By 30 Apr, the package was not even picked. The customer service team says "Route delay or human error". One customer service agent says "I have rescheduled your pickup". The other says "No, I can't see any reschedule." What the hell? Is this a bunch of dysgraphic $#*!s? Sorry for the language but NO, you do not understand what I feel. It is not frustration. It is despise, utter, unadulterated abhorrence at how they have zero professionalism, zero customer focus. And they had the audacity to tell me "File a claim, we will look into it." DHL, go to hell. I did not give my precious package in your hands so you could give me a claim compensation. I paid so that you will pick it up on time and deliver according to commitment. So take your claim, take your excuses, take your customer service mottos and shove them.
I ordered from Amazon. When you already eveything is paid. They asked for proof of payment so I sent. They act like they dont have. They say Customs has it but they do. They blatenly stole my package. Do not trust DHL thieves. I will not pay ransom for my package. Aviod DHL at all cost.
I had a very frustrating experience with DHL. Their customer service was unhelpful and rude, and I couldn't get any clear answers about the status of my package. Very disappointed!

Never choose DHL, definitely this is garbage/rubbish service which deserves zero score.
Anytime I buy from a vendor that uses DHL it arrives late, sometimes over a week late. I've tracked packages in the past and watched them be within a hundred miles of my town only to go several hundred miles further away then slowly make their way back. My current parcel has been sitting at their facility (3 states away) for three days now with an estimated delivery date still 7 days out. Make sure your vendors do not use DHL if you want your family's Christmas gifts to arrive on time.
Tracking has minimal updates and doesn't even pretend to actually track. Support is horrible - phone only and max of 2 inquiries allowed - regardless of circumstances - before system tells you "you have exceeded number of calls." Drivers lie - say the attempted delivery but no one home. My Ring shows otherwise. German company without German efficiency but with the arrogance.
Will drop off your order, take a picture, and take it back w/ them like nothing ever happened. No wonder these low lifes can't even get 2 stars on their ratings. I don't know how you can act like this and be comfortable sleeping at night you're the scum of society.
Ordered an iPad from O2 a few days ago. They have left it on my doorstep where anyone could take it. Nobody had signed for it, this is appalling especially with such a delicate/valuable item. Did deliver fast though.
They email you asking for address confirmation,
WHY. You have it already.
Their email scan is totally unintelligible. You can contact them and no one knows anything.
You speak to Customer Service in India about a purchase from China.

In my personal experience, DHL is by far the worst deliver in the world.

I paid £48 in Spain to send an envelope for 48 hour delivery. It did not arrive on the day promised which cost me dear. The website tracker is not user friendly so I had to waste more time phoning them only to be told that my parcel would not arrive when it should. No refund or compensation offered.
A very poor service that you can't rely on
Honestly the joint worst delivery company in the UK. No way of active tracking, drivers do not get in contact if they cannot find address, no live tracking, no way of contacting customer service, phone kept hanging up and not let me go past tracking info, sent emails, left messages, tried calling NOTHING all day. The urgent package i needed today is delayed again because of the obsolete systems this inefficient company is utilising. Please update your systems. You can hire me if you want it would be easy!

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
