I have documentation and proof that DHL's negligence resulted in my package being returned to origin. Their customer service department is not really helpful, they just parrot their scripts and cannot really help the customer.
DHL, hands down, is the most horrible outfit to deal with - mostly because of their own processes. The employees (for the most part) are kind and friendly, but as confused as I was about why a package took a few days to get to Cincinnati and then 9 days in customs. Then, delay after delay after delay as it sat in warehouses on its way to a commercial address in Maine. While customs was no help, DHL communications were abysmal and I got the impression that I ended up knowing far more about how to deal with customs than they did. On top of that - they send constant "threats" that if customs isn't resolved it will "be sent back to origin" - while no one seems to know why the problems are resolved. Horrible horrible horrible stressful experience I will never forget and never allow to happen again.
DHL Express? Really... They have failed now several times to deliver a package to my door. It ends up at the post office because somewhere, someone decides that DHL needs to hand it off to USPS? You cannot reach them, cannot inform them... their service is non existent. In Europe I have contacted them several times. Never have they resolved anything nor have they called back when they said they would. Avoid.
Both something for my business and was awaiting to be delivered. Unfortunately delivery driver was outside my house as i have seen photo he provided on their app and confirmed delivery which apparently i have sign for. I was not at home and nobody else was in my home. Driver possibly took the package for personal use. I did try to contact DHL on this number *******7770 whoever no answer even so i tried multiply times for 35 min on the phone each time. This company does not have customer service. Do not use their service.
These people lie. Say you were not home. Multiple times! Say the address was wrong.
They have lower level people working for them. Be aware they are a cut rate delivery service that masks themselves as elite. Garbage!
I was overseas and sent a package homeward with DHL to arrive when I returned- it was small enough not to need to pay customs. DHL sent it back without informing me, lied about calling me 3 times, denied any wrongdoing, and refused to refund. I'm a poor student and had to pay over 100$ again. I went with FedEx next, which is far more reliable.
Out for delivery on 12/22 turns into package on hold and won't be delivered until 12/26. Terrible service in the USA. Can't seem to anticipate holidays like their competitors do. Avoid whenever you can. I'm at al least a 50% issue rate with them. Unacceptable
Lazy drivers, lie that no one is home, simply skip the delivery! Another one could not find the address when everyone else including usps, ups easily find it. Lazy. Bad. Irresponsible. -5 stars. Worst.
Customer service is incompetent. Do not ship anything through DHL if it needs to be delivered in a timely manner. Don't call customer service, they lie to you. I had one lady tell me that only 1 out of 10 people receive packages at the time tracking shows will be delivered. So they lie about your delivery date. They have no idea where my package even is even though tracking shows it at a DHL center. Customer Service is rude. I don't know how they are even in business. How do you operate a business while lying to your customers.
They took two parcels from me to ship to Belgium and Germany. Both of them after 3 months returned back to me fully damaged and ripped. Nobody responds for claim forms and all the time staff are away. I gonna apply a complain against them to the court.
I wish I could have saw the reviews before I was assigned to them. It has been over a week and I still don't have my package and they keep giving me excuses. Customer service is very rude and quick to hang up the phone in your face.
The system is BS! Made up tracking updates when the package doesn't arrive until weeks later; "two more stops" then a week later still not delivered. It's just comedy. Can't control what service people send me things through
No one of around 15 parcels were delivered in time. I was actually surprised when dhlparcel.nl said that I am not at home while I didn't even exit my house! That's complete lie! The company is terribly unreliable and I would suggest to use any other possible delivery service instead of this damn!
Companies that use this service really don't care about their customers. Unfortunately, you don't always know how they are shipping. But when I get a package via DHL, it's the last time I'll order from that supplier.
My package is days late with no updated delivery date. I signed up twice to receive all updates and have not received one update. The tracking info will say that my package has been scanned but it doesn't say what state or facility it's at.
I've never receive any package ever shipped with DHL! Not a single one! They either deliver to the incorrect address (it's always in a different state and supposedly per delivery instructions by someone who is yet to be identified.), it's lost or it's cancelled (again by some unknown entity). Fortunately the various companies that I have placed these orders with over the years have refunded my money. The next time I find out DHL is involved I'll cancel the order before I hit the "send" button. It almost makes me wonder if there's some sort of scam or fraud going on.
A little bit rude customer service. Delivery guy brought my delivery, and told me something I didn't heard him so I asked him, pardon? He replied, you should clean your ears better in the morning. But then said that it was a joke, okay... Disappointed

There are no words left to say.I just tired to contact them every day, to speak with a different person without actual result or information.Have passed more than 15 days for my order and more than 5 days from their last official message that said that I have to go to pick up the parcel by myself to the post office. I don't know what happened with them,have they lost the packet? Sent a parcel from Germany to Malta and it got lost/ stolen, useless customer service just saying that legally they are not responsible... amazing... no effort at all to open an internal investigation on where my parcel is... they dont give a f*** that DHL lost my over 300eur worth of parcel + sentimental value. Had been using DHL for many years, and unless someone decides to show some responsibility, I wont use DHL again.
Worst experience ever parcels (13) scheduled for pick up Monday by Friday we drove 1 hour and took to depot as they had to be intime for Christmas now customers are screaming for their gifts and still no true answer from dhl although the boxes that left the Monday after all arrived in the normal time! 4 days! Will never ever use again after this just fed standard lies that they rehearse no help this is going to cost 100's and bad feedback from our customers, so stressed out don't take the risk

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
