I ordered some tights online and they want me to pay 50 euros in fees or pick them up myself at the airport... How the hell they think that paying for shipping does not include bringing the product to my house? This is extortion.

Force receiver to let them drop parcel off without any human interaction. "No choice" as choice.
Place parcel behind front door no matter how heavy and big parcel is to block door/entrance.
Does not contact by e-mail.
Deliver whenever they want to(could be earlier and could be late). Force you to select a time to their convenience, and still cannot keep it.
I've been listening to "Thank you for your patience while holding" for the last 43 minutes. I don't think anyone is working at DHL. Unfortunately, I have to continue to hold. Just hope someone will pick up the line. Businesses can blame on Covid for everything. That's including poor customer service.
F DHL! I'll never use it for shipping my products again. I used the quote calculator and it came up as $100. Then, when I filled out the form to create a shipment it went to $127. The tiny package was 452 grams, just shy of 1 pound. It changed the shipped weight based on the volume of the package to 2 pounds. Then, added fees (which I have no idea what they were) the final price was $152. F DHL. That's all you need to know. F DHL

They used to be very reliable, but service went down dramatically after they started to use third party delivery companies. Shipments have been delayed all the time and they do not know where is your shipment.
They have got to be the most unreliable carrier out there. I hesitate before ordering from overseas because if DHL doesn't hand off to another carrier once package gets to USA, it's a week of emails saying "your package will be delivered today". Since DHL requires a signature, that's a lot a days sitting home waiting. And I don't dare wave the signature with such a lackadaisical delivery philosophy.
My outgoing parcel has not been collected despite DHL giving me 2 separate time windows. On facebook & Twitter no response to my question 'when will my parcel be collected?'. Not good enough DHL if you cannot provide the service that you advertise perhaps you should withdraw from the market place!
Update: This ended well DHL pulled out the stops and collected and delivered 4 days late. My opinion is that DHL can do it but seriously need to review their systems of communications and management. The person who collected did apologise for the delay.
After my eBay purchase in February, I checked the tracker to see that it has made it here in Perth. But apparently was not delivered. I kept trying to contact the company but kept getting put on hold for an hour or longer. As no one wanted to deal with it. I tried to contact them through email, but all they could tell me was that they were "investigating". Well that's not good enough!
These guys have a lot to answer for. From what the customer representative told me, there was a particular flight between Perth and Singapore where my package was supposedly lost/stolen. Now this is a goddamn disgrace. They really need to investigate their staff because they have been stealing things and quite frankly that is a joke. What a pathetic company these guys are! And I will NOT be getting anything delivered with DHL EVER in future again and will let everyone know how crappy this company have been. Go to hell!
Worst company, amazes me they are in business, no one answer they are closed on weekends.on day 4 of them saying its with driver out for delivery, i signed the sig waiver online to leave at door, no one comes, the dont leave any notice, just keep saying out for delivery, not sure which ring master is is running this circus, but need some serious management changes there
Placed an order, package keeps having issues with delivery and no one in customer service is able to help me. Representative that I spoke with was extremely rude and threatened to hang up the phone. Avoid this service at all costs!
Don't use DHL courier service! Terrible service! For an exorbitant fee they promised to deliver a letter from AB to AZ in 3 days (still a long time for express service) but package still hasn't arrived 5 days later! No refund available because we didn't pay even more to guarantee a "time" of delivery. I could have had the letter here quicker by snail mail for $4. Won't ever use this "express" service again!
They are the worst logistics company I have ever dealt with. They have poor communication. Very poor customer service. Horrible tracking details. I have given them so many chances and they continue to be bad. How do you not get better?
DHL has been a complete and utter inconvenience. They are nearly impossible to get into contact with. They also told me my package was delivered to my home address but after complicated research on my own doing, it was delivered to a random desirous warehouse over 15 miles away. Not a single email or letter notified me of its whereabouts. Very disappointed. I also paid 30$ for expedited delivery. DHL is a disappointment.
DHL is the worse shipping provider. After paying thousands of dollars for a plant outside Canada, the shipper DHL did not do their job to deliver on itine. It's almost 3 weeks now and by the time my plants arrived, they will all be dead. Please do not ship with DHL. Seriously they charge high like 200 dollars more for a package that is lost along the way. Nobody is taking responsibility to help customers. All their employees are by the hook but no services provided. I will not ever use them to ship again.
I literally never got delivered something to home from this company besides the fact that I was waiting inside for the delivery. They must pay very little to their drivers as they never ring the bell and just leave the notice. Not mentioning packages being sent back to the sender for no reason and in less than 7 days after the abovementioned "delivery". Terrible. Avoid at all costs if possible.
I always cringe when the tracking info shows that DHL is part of the delivery process. For 7 days now, the tracking has shown that the package is sitting In Maryland after it had moved from Kentucky. 7 days! Did they lose it? Did it fall under a rack at the warehouse? Are the DHL employees sitting around laughing with a pile of undelivered packages sits behind them in the background? Must be the cheapest delivery service for retailers.when you ask them what the hold up is, they tell you to wait 10 days past the scheduled delivery date and then contact the place you purchased from. So we can start the nightmare over again when they send out a 2nd order? Nothing you can do about it since I don't get to pick the delivery carrier other than pay for 2 day shipping which would be the same amount as my order. Train wreck of a company.
A parcel was sent from Germany to Georgia. After parcel came to Tbilisi it was sent back to the shipper without any reasons. No calls to receiver or shipper. Phones were provided to DHL. They have new different reasons every time I ask them to explain the situation. Awful service, will never use it again. Only spend time and money.
I am getting a Package from the UK. These ASSES keep demanding this, that, money, etc., before they will ship it. This has been going on now for 3 1/2 weeks and counting.
I don't know how they stay in Business. They are very Disrespectful, Unprofessional, etc.
And the only reason they got one Star, is; because you can't put a Review through without a Star.
This company has no respect at all for peoples schedules. My shipment was due on Tuesday and then updated to "Shipment on Hold". When I called they said it would be delivered Wednesday. Needless to say it did not come. Now Thursday it still shows "Shipment on Hold". When I called the women I spoke to told me how busy they were and that she will try to get it delivered today. 10:00 am and its not out on a truck for delivery at this time. Maybe it will come some day. Meanwhile, I have inconvenienced a friend waiting at my home while I work for the last 3 days. Horrible service! Use FedEx or UPS.

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
