I shipped a parcel from India to usa which didn't get delivered, they said it's delivered but didn't provide me with any picture as proof. Rather than just not delivering the product they are very rude.
DHL is perfect if you want to completely lose a package. I have never had them successfully deliver anything to me. Every single time, they dump the package on a random doorstep, take a photo as "proof" of delivery of a front step that looks nothing like my house, and then insist they've done their job correctly. Have contacted DHL multiple times in the past a nobody bothers to look into lost package claims or get back to you on the matter. I always need to go back to the seller and request a refund because DHL consistently fails to deliver. I don't know how they managed to completely screw it up so consistently.
Usually people tend to write reviews when something doesn't work or they had a bad experience, but I think DHL is reliable, when compared to some other services.
I've shipped and received items from all sorts of services and ways of transport (ship, airplane, local post offices, UPS etc.) DHL is definitely not the worst of them. Yes, sometimes the delivery times don't match or that the pick-up location is different than what originally stated, but at least I don't have to be afraid of my items getting lost or stolen. I've always gotten what I ordered and nothing was broken.
I would use DHL anytime again.
Reading at the title, is very clear what the intention is, choose to sign or not, in the delivery day; simple.is it? Well, on the delivery day I kept ignoring all the messages with a link to choose 'delivery without signature', because that will wave their responsibility in the event of the package arriving damaged, that's the main reason to stay WITH signature option. But why sending multiple times that "no signature" option and leave it at the front door anyways? Before you ask, I was in the house and about 2 mins after staying in the front door, when I came back, the package appeared there, not even a bell ringing. Surely they have a fancy excuse for this, but the feedbacks and videos said it all every year.
DHL has the best answering service! Many other shipping companies that I work with don't let you talk to an actual human but DHL does right away!
Whenever I call they always answer within three minutes of waiting and are always very helpful.

I don't know if DHL has alot of backup work but this time was a fast delivery, I'm assuming they usually handle international delivery.But up till now they have never misplaced any of my packages that's a plus.

Tracking has minimal updates and doesn't even pretend to actually track. Support is horrible - phone only and max of 2 inquiries allowed - regardless of circumstances - before system tells you "you have exceeded number of calls." Drivers lie - say the attempted delivery but no one home. My Ring shows otherwise. German company without German efficiency but with the arrogance.
Absolute garbage customer support.

I purchased a large order from a coMputer store. Already paid $110 to get it shipped. From the terrible website to the not helpful customer service reps, it has been a terrible choice. My order kept getting pushed out further and further until they said "someone from customs had questions for me" and "they will call you in 2 hours or less." Of course they didn't. I call them back. "We're closed" the annoying phone bot says. I wait until tomorrow, they say the same thing. Still haven't received my order. $1500 down the drain thanks to them.
Delivered the product without notice. Postage got stolen so I asked for pictures. They said it was my fault and gave me a very blurry picture of the postage in my apartment complex, unclear which one my package even is.
This is one of the worst shipping companies, don't rely on them. I changed my delivery address through their unfriendly automated system then through their on line chat and finally thru a live person who guaranteed I would have my package today before the weekend and it's still not here. They had the wrong address each time in their system even though I corrected it with them. Now they close at 5:00 pm Arizona time and I have no way to contact them and find out what happened to my package! Beyond frustrating!
The worst shipping experience i have ever had. Their customer service is so poorly trained i was told something different EVERY time i called, i probably spoke with about 8-10 people. For some reason they were unable to deliver my package due to incorrect address, even though it was correct, and i've had to go pick it up myself. Their agents lied to me multiple times and made no effort to make the situation easier for me. I was extremely nice the whole time and never raised my voice or blamed them for the issues. Working at a call center, you expect the bare minimum- such as leaving notes, consistent training, and kindness. I had to explain my situation each time i called and the agent did the most to get off the call as quick as possible- including lying so i would end the call. It's quite embarrassing how poorly trained their employees are. I hope i NEVER have to have a package shipped by this company.
Driver signed some scribble art work as my name and stole my package! $300 retro shooter console. I havent got any news back after I filed my case with DHL. I went ahead and filed a police report. Well see what happens. Next step is to hit the bank and dispute the charge. I wish these merchants would stop using DHL
No matter how you try to contact DHL, their website is so complicated and user-NASTY that it's impossible to get through to them. Once even an employee said she didn't understand their website! And usually, although I am registered as a customer, I can never get to whatever page I am trying to reach, they usually run me around in endless loops. You can't change your address or add instructions... you can't do anything!
Absolutely terrible. I updated my settings to have them do a no contact delivery and leave it at my door and they don't. Instead they don't deliver at all because they said there was no confirmation from concierge. What part of no contact did we miss here? How are they still in business? Going one step further makes a world of difference.
I sent express package from America to the Philippines. Paid $180 minus or plus express envelope. It arrived in Cebu in the Philippines 4 days. Now says it's gonna sit there for 2 weeks before they decide to get it over and have it delivered no longer. Will I ever use the DHL again for anything? I called the customer service. It's not our fault that's their answer
Avoid using this service. You pay 3 times the price for a ghost service.
Paid for the next day delivery, their tracking system every time a long in tells me different information. Extremely frustrating experience. No idea when the delivery is going to take place and there is no way to find out as DHL online, telephone customer service is non existent.
DHL has been very unhelpful regarding the status, handling and customer service of a time-sensitive shipment we were expecting, which was supposed to be delivered at the end of May and now it is June 8,2023. We called customer service and inquired through chat and email without a clear answer as to the extended delay. Customer service redirected us to contact customs regarding our delay instead. I could not get a clear answer as to why our shipment has been held up for so long. How unsatisfying this service and company is! Highly NOT recommended.
If they lose a package don't expect DHL to do ANYTHING. They won't call you back. They won't email you. My last phone call went something like this - me "is there anyone else at DHL who I can speak to that gives a damn?" DHL "No sir." This company is terrible. Never has a shipment with DHL ever gone smoothly for us. I mean 2 or 3 times and you could just say they are having a bad day, but to consistently fail? I don't know how they are still in business.

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
