Awesome employees at CVS in Smithfield NC. I thought I had left my photos there and they were willing to reprint them. Come to find out they fell out of the bag in my car. I would recommend printing your photos there
Corporate CVS It's obvious that you dont value your customers at the pharmacy. I've transferred my prescription three times now, and at each location, I have to wait upwards of thirty minutes in the store or drive through. Its not a peak time issue as I have tried on several ocassions different times. Your employees are consistently courteous and diligent in their efforts to assist the customer. It's also clear that you don't value your staff because nobody should work nonstop at their job dealing with irate clients. You run a multimillion dollar corporation, so stop being so avaricious and straighten things out.
I order online due to declining health.
I went to pick up my 4 items that I ordered the day before. I didn't realize they don't offer curbside pickup. I grab my cane and proceed to go into store. I see, what I assumed was my order, on shelf, behind cashier. She tells me I need to get in line. The line had 6-7 people in it. 32 minutes later, I finally got my order. I thought shopping online was to make shopping easier, especially for the handicapped. I definitely won't shop online there, unless I am able to have it mailed.
There are signs and advertisements online about walk in availability for vaccines, including covid-19 vaccines. I walked into two different CVS pharmacies without an appointment and was turned away with the reply, " You have to have an appointment. We don't do walk-ins." When I try to use the online portal to make an appointment regardless of what zip code I put in, I'm referred to pharmacies that are nine to 15 mi away when the one two and three miles away from me doesn't come up. It's very difficult to make an appointment at a convenient location. Finally to watch two to three clerks walking around in the store while leaving the front counter so that the only option is self-checkout is absurd. You cannot purchase gift cards totaling more than $200 at a self-checkout, we are limited employees of CVS, ergo you actually need someone who works there to make the transaction for you. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to find anybody who works in the store to actually help you out anymore. I'm just not using CVS anymore. It's such a crapshoot when you go there. Then you all wonder why you're losing business to online stores or Amazon? Just open your eyes. Tell me your customer service matters to you.

When I go to sign in on the CVS app for prescriptions, when I put in my password it always says invalid password. So I reset the password and the prompt tells me that it has been accepted, but then when I go to sign in again it says invalid password. So I go through the whole thing over and over again changing the password having it accepted and then it tells me invalid password again. There was a time when that app worked perfectly fine and I never had any trouble with it, but not now. I don't even want to deal with it anymore.
CVS has always been a helpful pharmacy to shop and save. They have been cut down to no help. Customer service is lacking greatly. Great Pharmacy but poor managing at headquarters.
CVS needs to update their phone system and just STOP with the annoying vaccine recommendations. I got Gillian Barre's syndrome with their vaccine and if you've ever been paralyzed you would NEVER take it again. Took 2 yrs to get over it. Their music is funeral music while on hold. Nice customer service with people if you EVER get thru the horrific phone system.
I give them three stars because they are in good locations, and the service is good but it REALLY bothers me that their beauty products are a lot more expensive. Some Maybelline lipsticks for example are $2-3 more than at Target or Walgreens... so not even the coupons make up for it...
Sometimes CVS has a sale that I take advantage up
The store is usually clean and clutter free and the employees seem to know their business..
I remember when CVS was People's Drug... a regional and humanistic chain here in the Southeast.
It had some character... and got the job done, so to speak.
Now CVS is essentially indistinguishable from RiteAid, Walgreen's or any other dull chain.
Sure, they can fill your prescriptions... and you can pick up a bottle of aspirin. But it is a mindnumbingly dull and corporate experience.
Give me the mom and pop owned corner drug store any old day of the week.
For a capitalistic country, the US really is moving more and more toward these huge and dreary monolithic type retail experiences -- fluorescently lit nightmares of stores jammed with tons of cheap swag.
Such a shame.
Three very dull stars for you, CVS...
I include several shots of these corporate monstrosities.
My husband and I have been long standing customers of CVS. Spending hundreds on prescriptions and other products for years. CVS has always taken my coupons even if they were expired but now after spending over $150.00 at the Colchester Ct. Branch in miscellaneous items the rude branch manager I requested to speak with refused my 3 coupons with one of them that had just expired on the 3rd. I explained to her that I spend hundreds on perscriptions which I will now no longer use CVS but that did not sway her in any way! Shame on you CVS!
I like CVS because it is a chain and I can find almost everywhere. CVS is like any other chain drug store. It sells what you expect a drug store to sell. What I don't like about CVS is that they don't accept Apple Pay. Instead they want consumers to use CVS Pay through the CVS mobile app. I will refuse to use CVS Pay. CVS should just start accepting Apple Pay. Apple Pay is the way of the future. CVS should jump on board like Walgreens did.
Not a fan of the CVS pharmacy where I live because they get younger people in there and they do not no what they are doing) to slow)
They have some many affordable items, but my favorite aisle of the store is the cards section. I could spend all day looking at every card, they are so cute! Some of them... can be a bit expensive, luckily I just get lost looking at them haha!
It's okay. I like it but I dont. The thing with them is that I tried to collect their coupons but when I use them it never work.
I'm not sure who gets the "God Complex" more... the doctors or the pharmacist! When ur script is due every 30 days, u would think it's so simple! WRONG! My Dr. wrote my meds out for 3 days early due to a documented reason. However, CVS EXPLAINS they will not honor what the Doctor says and makes me wait for 3 days! Then a month later I drop off same script, and they call me 2 days early to pick it up! Then to get back on the rotation I call cvs for explanation as to why my meds t not ready this month on the 30th day!? They try to reason that the doctor wrote "TBF" on it (to be filled) for the following day and they CAN NOT release it! But when it was wrote for the earlier date months back they wouldn't do it! It's completely WRONG and so much BS to point the finger at anyone except themselves! When u play by rules and they constantly change for a superior feeling, how does that help the actual customer/patient?! Tooo many chiefs and so few Indians! Shame on all of
U! Laugh now cuz ur turn or a loved ones turn will come and I'm sure u won't find any humor in it to watch them suffer! (They need to take the "Do no harm" out of the oath... it means nothing! Good luck to all survivors!
I wish they had more employees to help locate items. I tend to spend 20 minutes just looking for things.
Web's products doesn't match the store's products. I never buy it again!
I really wanted to give the site a 2 1/2. The product selection is often limited and inconsistent. The shipping, although offered "free" is extremely slow. Speaking to customer service about "normal shipping time" I was told to expect 5 - 10 BUSINESS days. Does it really take two weeks to ship a couple bottles of lotion and some deodorant? I like the convenience of ordering online but with multiple pharmacy options available within a ten minute drive I may have to rethink what I once considered a convenience. CVS is quickly losing points in my preference book.
It was always clean and they always had the items I needed.
