The website is slow and crashes often forcing you to start your order over again. I spent almost 2 hours putting an order together on 9/3 using the 30% coupon, tried over and over to submit it and finally was successful or so i thought. Called to check the status after nothing showed up, they have no record of the order that i spent so long creating. They said they would take the order again but the discount expired. So i said no thanks, my being a customer has expired also. DONE. My time is too valuable to waste.
The membership is turning out to be a blessing overall. I have enjoyed the extra savings, monthly benefit, and ease of finding what I need at CVS. Yes, I was furious with the experience calling customer service, but now that I'm not on the phone with them, my feelings towards CVS has taken a turn for the better.
Regarding ordering online, while I still won't do it with CVS, I may have a better idea what went wrong after doing some digging on my own. Turns out that if there's a delay processing an item before it's shipped, opting for overnight delivery will not fix that problem. Hope by now CVS will provide better notification upfront if an item has an availability delay. Hoping...
Horrible experience. I paid extra for their new program and was promised my medical equipment order in 1-2 days. It's been a week and it hasn't even shipped yet.
Now I'm in physical pain, but it doesn't even compare to the psychological torture of dealing with their customer service phone line. I was passed from person to person, waited hours, had to verify my personal info over and over again with questions even more ridiculous than my bank. DOB + SSN + Address ++
Finally got transferred to Kimberly on the phone. I explained the situation and gave them a chance to resolve. If the item is late because it's not in stock, I deserve to be notified. She offered no resolution. Just "tough luck".
Well, here you go...
I will NEVER buy from CVS online again. Recommendation: buy from somewhere else
The CVS pharmacy website is a very easy and convenient way to manage your prescriptions online and order refills. If you've got one or more prescriptions that is renewed each month, this is a great site for setting up auto-refills and getting alerts sent to your phone when your Rx is ready to pick up, so you don't have to remember it each month. Just go by the pharmacy when you get your text and you should be good to go.
It's a pain every single time trying to pick up a prescription. If I call on the phone to check the prescription status it's almost never accurate. It will say the pharmacy hasn't received a prescription or it's just not ready. I call the drs office every single time and every single it has indeed been sent in. Half the time I'll make the drive over to check on it only to find it was ready all along OR it hasn't even been started and it'll be another hour or two. It's never consistent and it's also impossible to get through to someone who actually works at the local pharmacy. The automated system will just give me the run around forcing me to have to load sick kids into the car and see what's going on in person. Once I had to keep calling the cashier that worked up front and have her transfer me over bc my kids were too sick to load up in the car which led to her getting irritated with me. It's always such a mess!
I tried ordering from cvs.com to use a discount, and one of five items was missing. I had to wait til the next day to call customer service because they are only available til 10 p.m. CST on weekdays, and then it took a trip through the voicemail menu to get a rep, who put me on hold for several minutes while she filled out some form. She was very pleasant, but said it would be 3 to 5 business days for a replacement. No offer to do anything to make up for the inconvenience. Simply unacceptable. Will not order from them again.
Hello, had to unlike the page. Usually you guys are great, but what happened? Pittsfield, MA West St ******* store no longer carries postage stamps in the Rx dept. in the back of the store? What gives? So, a customer has to pay for his prescriptions, a few over the counter items then go to the FRONT of the store to buy postage stamps? Every time a debit card is used it's an extra. 50 per transaction. You used to have postage stamps in the back so customers can buy them with their prescriptions. Why was this stopped and the snooty answer for some girl working the register in the back?
The customer service is trash and people are low IQ. Seriously, social media has created a society of narcissism and these dumb people working at chain stores now think they are celebrities and need to give everyone attitude problems. I don't care if you have 500 Instagram followers, just ring me up and move along. No one cares about you.
I hate the new CVS self serv checkout. I've been in multiple stores & while the cashier is stocking shelves has yelled "self service is available"! What she's really saying is 'don't disrupt me, I'm busy'
If I wanted to check myself out-I'd apply for a job.
Good thing Walgreens is on the other corner. That's where I'll be.
I didn't add a proof of purchase because I had driven my 90 year old mom there to pick up a script. She doesn't know how to self check.
I was forced to change pharmacies because mine shut down. I've been in CVS 3 times and each time there have been problems. Whether it's the staff, the computers, my discount card, or the medicine being out of stock. The staff appear to be young, under qualified, confused, one guy had pants sagging off his butt, they mumble, don't smile, make eye contact, don't say please or thank you or explain anything! This place gives me anxiety attacks! I hate it. Seriously considering paying extra money and going to Walmart. They are super busy too, but at least they know what they're doing! I would not recommend CVS to anyone. Worst experiences in retail, EVER!
Cvs.com tried 3 times to deliver toiletries I had ordered for a family member. They messed up the order every time, twice sending it back without emailing or telling me. After four weeks of hassling with their customer service department, I asked for a refund and reordered film Walmart. The order arrived in two days.
CVS makes a lot of money from filling prescriptions. When I used them for about 15 years I noticed a significant decline in their service. They have only one pharmacist on duty with minimal to zero assistants. I felt as though they made enough off of filling just my many scripts to justify hiring some help. We are currently visiting our daughters here near Austin, TX with our other children and most grandchildren planning on being here as well for Christmas. I called a local CVS twice and was put on indefinite hold. I finally called Walgreens and actually got to speak with someone whose first language seemed to be English. I do not plan on using CVS again for the rest of my life. When it started getting ridiculous near our home in Florida was about 3 years ago. I no longer do business with CVS of any kind.
I hear that 900 stores will be closing, but until then, can you please staff your stores? The poor pharmacist at our CVS was all by himself! One person left to fill prescriptions, ring them up, answer phones (or not answer phones) and give injections. The pharmacy was shut down on a Saturday with no outgoing message to let customers know. I called the district manager... no call back. I wrote a letter to corporate... no response (but I did wait on the CVS customer "service" line for 30 minutes.)
CVS at 9 Nelson St. Leominster, MA *******. Went at 7:50 am. Nicolette greeted every person that came in and asked if I need help looking for something. She kept busy, once I needed her she helped right away. The check out went fast and smoothly. She was very polity. Thanks!
CVS has gotten worse and worse. The pharmacists barely speak English. They are understaffed. Long wait times. Long hold times when calling. Their app is terrible. The service is pretty non existent and their new multi dose pill packs is horrifyingly managed. I have been loyal to cvs for over a decade but it is no longer making my life better or easier. Time to move on.
Tried it recently and love it!. Good products, timely delivered via shipping. Was what I expected, plus what a nice surprise - plus free gifts inside my box. Shampoo, lotion, body wash, etc. How nice - in this day and age when products cost both an arm and a leg, but the price was fantastic, and the free gifts were an additional breath of fresh air. Will definitely do more online shopping with CVS.com. Linda, Gainesville, FL
Horrible attitude when confronted with their mistakes. Just in the last 2 months, blatant mistakes were made at front retail checkout and UPS check on 4 different occasions and each time, the clerk and/or followup supervisor tried to blame me for their mistakes. When proven wrong, they were passive aggressive, unapologetic and entitled. They acted like they were the customer and I had wronged them. It is clearly a corporate culture that breeds this when it is so pervasive
I've been in the Carepass plan for a very long time. For the past six months or so I've attempted to use my $10.00 at CVS and been told each time that I wasn't in their system. Ironically they continue to take money out of my account for the Carepass plan. I've called numerous times and they always told me (their customer service is NOT in the US) that they fixed the problem and I can use the $10. I went today (reminder this has been going on for over 6 months) to CVS and again was told I was not in the system. Again they took the fee out of my account. I canceled the plan and told the person I spoke with that CVS stole money from my account and that I wanted to be reimbursed (for over 6 months). He said all they could do is allow - yes he said allow - me to have $10. WTF! CVS sucks, they are thieves. If you are with this crooked program get out while you can!
I don't understand all of the negative reviews people post about this company. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I guess it's all in how you treat people. A t like an $#*! and get treated like one. Loosen up people!
I purchased an Amazon gift card from my local CVS in Nesconset, NY. Upon trying to redeem the gift card, we discovered it was fraudulent and the claim code was removed so I could not redeem it for its $50 value. I returned to the store but they said that they could not help me and I would need to contact CVS's Customer Service group. I opened an investigation and after ~3 weeks, they responded to me taking no responsibility even though the gift card was purchased in their store. They basically told me it was my problem and that I should try contacting Amazon to see if they will credit it me. The Custome Service representative was smug and totally not helpful. I strongly recommend NOT shopping at CVS because they do not stand by their sales.
CVS HEALTH. OTC Benefits through catalogue. Cx's should not receive any gummie vitamin or meds. Through the shipping or mail unless your packaging is to keep such like items safe from the heat. This common sense. You sent items you know will melt if not package correctly. Seniors have placed hope this benefit and to have your mind set on an item only to receive is not good. If it was an oversight ok but still the feedback from your customers should be taken seriously.
Answer: I have tried to speak to someone in their corporate office because I wasn't getting anywhere trying to reach a district manager or someone who was outside of the actual store since the manager was the problem and I was ignored just the same. I think they are so recognized and dominate so much of that market that they can afford to just let people complain and not do anything. I use Walgreen's even though they are a little more expensive I like that they treat their cus6with respect and they also respect their customer's privacy. The manager at the CVS near me called to verify my prescription on speakerphone up front so everyone could hear. I honestly believe they do not care if customers complain.
Answer: NOPE! CVS PRODUCTS ARE MARKED UP 3 TIMES HIGHER, THAN FOOD LION, BJs, WALMART, AMAZON. BED BATH BEYOND, WALGREENS, YOU CAN BUY THE SAME PRODUCTS AT THESES PLACES WITHOUT A COUPON AND GET IT CHEAPER!
Answer: Yes will never order online again very disappointed with the horrible cust svc
Answer: Can't wait for Amazon to get into pharmacy goods. CVS customers will flock to their service!
Answer: 10-20 minutes if you are picking up a prescription that's already filled (wasting in line). 30-45 if you drop it off + your normal 10-20 minutes in line.
Answer: Yes, you should do such!
