1. I have excellent credit, over 800 FICO and hadn't had a new loan or credit card opened in years. Not even a late payment in over 20 years, paying off my credit cards in full each month. The site offered Pre-approval for an Auto Loan. MOST pre-approvals do NOT ding your credit. Not only did they ding my credit for 2 years, but they Denied me the loan. I got a loan at a better rate, from a better CU.

2. A few years later I co-signed loans for family. I paid off one of the loans and went online to get my final months statements. I no longer had access to the loan documents, even after just a few days. The loan wasn't even visible anymore. I wanted to get statements for important tax information, but it was as if the loan never existed. I should have left $1.00 to keep it open I gues. We should have access to these documents.

3. I tried to get help through their messaging system. It is answered by an arrogant person providing NO help at all. The reply is always. "I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Is there anything else I can help you with today?" No attempt to even find a solution. Good luck getting someone to answer the phones too.

4. NOW, I want OUT of GFA COMPLETELY, so I start paying down another loan I have there. I made 2 external payments and one internally from a savings account, all within 4 days of each other. ALL THREE payments had 7.49% interest taken out based on the FULL balance at the time of payment. TWO of those THREE payments SHOULD have gone towards Principal ONLY. THIEVES!

If you bank with them, PLEASE, check your statements for such problems, IF you can even access them. If you DO NOT bank with them, DON'T!

The City of Gardner, MA chose Nextera to supply electricity to the City residents through the City's Energy Supplier Program, where residents were sent a form to sign up, and I did because the price was ONE cent less than the area's general supplier (National Grid).

After six months the rate changed. Not a little, but by close to TEN CENTS a kWh. When I actually looked at the bill I was shocked. It was nearly double. I, and I doubt ANY of the other residents were warned about this dramatic increase. I feel the town absolutely should have warned us about this as soon as they were notified. By the time I noticed the huge increase, and with a one to two month time frame needed to switch to another provider, I, along with the other residents were gouged by this unscrupulous company.

I included a screenshot of the price difference, showing what Nextera (and the City) were charging through the ACC compared to ALL other providers. It's insane. I HAS to be illegal.

I contacted the Attorney General, the CIty, the company, and I got canned replies, if any, and absolutely no help. It makes me wonder if there was some kickbacks involved where the City didn't even apologize, never mind reply. There should be a class action against these crooks. Things are hard enough for us retired and disabled people that we shouldn't have to deal with crooks like this. Especially when it's done through our own local governments.

Now their rates are back inline with the norm. I suspect only until the next group they find to pull the bait-and-switch scam on.

Please DO NOT use them, and make sure your City or Town doesn't make deals with them either.

Short Story - Very complex site that looks legit where I was referred to by my Credit Card (Chase)for cash back, but upon further research I found a LOT of deception. Avoid them and stay safe!

LONG Story - I was going to get my Daughter and son-in=law some tickets for Christmas. Ticket prices can be outrageous these days, so I looked for some way to save. My Chase Credit card showed a 10% cashback if I bought through TicketSmarter, so I followed the link. My Daughter mentioned she liked a band called Sleep Token, so we both went looking for tickets and seats she might like, and that I could afford. I sent her the Link to TicketSmarter as that was the site I could get a 10% cashback from Chase. She found some seats (See image), so I went to look on MY computer. Look at the price difference! Hers showed she could get the EXACT, SAME seats for $197.00 each, while MY screen showed them at $229.00 each. I'd be paying MORE than 10% more for the same seats. We were looking at them AT THE SAME TIME. I decided to look in a different browser and it showed them at $197.00 as well. Seems like a bit of a scam, and trying to compensate for the Chase's 10% discount. I went back an hour later on MY ORIGINAL browser, and YUP, that STILL showed them at a higher price. SO now ny Daughter and I decide to look elsewhere, even on the Sleep Token site. Sleep Tokens site had links and messages that the tickets would go on sale IN TWO DAYS. Even other ticket sites were advertising the tickets would go on sale 12/8/2023. So, how can TicketSmarter POSSIBLY have the tickets for sale 2 or more days earlier? Do your own research, but I NEVER would trust these deceptive scalpers/scammers.

I closed my account with Puritan's Pride after ONE order. They have my email address, but yet they start sending me SNAIL MAIL Cards and Magazines. I NEVER Signed up for ANY of this crap. I hate companies that waste Paper, Man-power making the crap and fuel delivering JUNK MAIL that will only add to the trash, when I didn't even give them permission.

IF they were a decent company, they would see that I am on the DMA (Direct Marketing Associations) Do not Mail List. They also ADD (OR CURRENT RESIDENT). That just shows what an ARROGANT and INCONSIDERATE Company they are. I am just glad I was smart enough not to give them a phone number.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Stick with companies that respect how you want to be communicated with AND Mother Earth!

blackhawknetwork.com A.K.A cashstar.com is a HORRIBLE Company. I wanted a to send a gift card for Hannaford's Supermarket to someone. THEY redirected me to "CASHSTAR", which is run by blackhawknetwork.com. They send out gift cards with NO TRACKING number. It takes about 5 days for First Class mail to go coast to coast but it's been over 10 DAYS and still NOTHING. It's not so much of a "SURPRISE" Gift card when you have to keep asking the person if they even got the gift card yet. I get a funny feeling someone ELSE is using that gift card with no way to track it. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!

Tip for consumers:
Good Luck dealing with these people. I always loved Hannaford's Grocery Store, but after dealing with these gift cards I'm having second thoughts....

I have dealt with domains for MANY years, but it wasn't until I FINALLY found a GREAT HOST that was truly reliable with wicked fast Responses from Support. That's MDD Hosting. I won't tell you how many other (cheap) hosts I tried before I found MDD. The slightly higher fees GREATLY outweigh having to deal with incompatibility issues, downtime and irate customers. I HIGHLY recommend MDD. You will not be disappointed.

Wish I had researched them before I gave my information. They started spamming me with texts without me consenting to it the minute I submitted a request for quote. Read the reviews at consumer Affairs. They hire out to ANYONE, and people have had items stolen and vehicles held hostage, and getting things back is a nightmare because it takes a civil case against uship and whatever nefarious 3rd party the hire. STAY AWAY!

1st try, they delivered, but not everything I paid for. Never got a refund after complaining to both SubWay and DoorDash. SECOND order... We ordered a few things one night. An hour later, when they meals were "Suppose" to arrive I get a text saying "Hi Bill, your delivery from 1041- Gardner has been modified or canceled. Please reach out to them directly for more information. WHAT?!?! We ordered from a few places. SO I had to call ALL the places and figure out what the heck DoorDash Meant. It ended up being Papa Gino's and at least THEY got order and delivered. NO WAY will DoorDash get a third try from me!

Tip for consumers:
Don't! But if you do, DOUBLE CHECK what you get before you let the driver drive away. And DO NOT tip on the credit Card. Tip in Cash, so you are sure you get the best service (Which doesn't seem that great to begin with).

I researched a lot, and thought I found what I wanted. Good tasting, Frozen meals delivered. Placed my first order on 1/10. I figured being frozen they would last a while. Then I got to one meal that had a "Best Used By" dated 12/1/2022! Expired over a month BEFORE the day I ordered! What?

Some meals tasted OK. Slightly better than Meals on Wheels, but at 3x the cost. Not a fan of the Clam Chowder, I won't talk about the consistency, but suffice to say it's very little and you can do way better with a can.

My BIGGEST Complaint is the labeling on the larger meals. On the small packages, like soups, it's a nice, simple, tiny label and seems to cover all the needed info. On the Larger Meals the label completely wraps around meal with thick, sticky paper. When I try to take plastic off and it gets to the paper it pulls and I end up spilling the meals. Not so easy to pull and hold the tray down with just the other hand. Just happened for the 3rd (and LAST TIME). I hate things that anger me so much that they raise my blood pressure and cause me to swear and look stupid. Labels could be greatly simplified. They could be perforated to come off easier. Or SMALLER, as there's so much room on top. Or a two part, for top and bottom, but NO, they make the labels the worst way possible.

I'm DONE. There are many other options, hopefully not delivering expired meals.

UPDATE2: Back to a 1 rating. I actually went to the site for the Grocery Store, and they offered "Orders to go". So I compared prices. One example Banana's $.49 a lb vs $.59 a lb at Instacart. And that was the SMALLEST Mark-up. I did my next order through the store and saved over $60.00. And guess who delivered it. Instacart. Wow! UPDATE: Upgraded from a 1 to a 4 stars. Once I did finally get through the website an placed the order I was lucky enough to deal with a great person who asked all the right questions via text DURING the shopping. The only mistake in the order was MINE. The Delivery person was FANTASTIC! The site though still needs some work to be less pushy on unwanted items. ORIGINAL POST: My Granddaughter said I should try instacart now that I'm not so mobile, So I signed up. FIRST, they show a bunch of useless stuff they are trying to dump. I don't HAVE pets. Then, once you figure out you can search, EVERY TIME it defaults to "Best Match", which are NO where near what I am looking for. SO, I have to click "Low to High Prices" EVERY TIME! There should be a way to select a default to have it remember, otherwise you are scrolling through tons of unwanted or unrelated items. With "Low to High", the items I ACTUALLY want are within the first few rows. It will take me 5 hours to do what I could do in one hour going myself. THey show items I never say in that particular store, and there's no easy way to leave a note on certain items, like the looks of Tomatoes, the Age of milk, the size of Banana's. I think I tip EXTREMELY well, but I don't see this being easier, only more expensive.

Tip for consumers:
Was not pleased with the poorly located and pushy Ads on the site, but MY shopper was FANTASTIC and deserving of a HUGE tip considering the time and travel. and they were SO nice interacting while shopping!!! Hope you're as lucky as I was. But Second time I went direct to Grocery Store and saved over $60.00 because I didn't have to pay the Instacart mark-up.

I only play small amount on Fanduel and Draftkings to make the NFL interesting. I ended up getting lucky and winning $100.00 on Fanduel. I have a screen copy of where Fanduel says "Withdrawable Balance $124.34". I tried to withdraw $110.00 and received an email that included this;

" Your PayPal withdrawal #xxxxxxxxxx for $110.00, requested at 01/02/2023 06:17 EST didn't go through because it included funds ineligible for withdrawal, so we returned the funds to your FanDuel Fantasy account. You can only withdraw winnings or eligible promotions. "

I have had issues with Fanduel where contests I joined seemed to mysteriously disappear when I looked in "Live" Contests, Now this... I have no trust in them. I have had much better dealings with DraftKings.

I bought Malwarebytes through PayPal, but somehow 2Checkout dealt with processing the transaction. Malwarebytes was canceled, and I got a letter it was refunded. I NEVER got the refund, so no I've had to escalate the issue with PayPal as 2Checkout is ignoring my communications, asking where exactly IS my refund.

UPDATE: I was Refunded by PayPal under their customer protection soon after I filed a complaint. 2CO send it about 8 weeks later, after all my BAD reviews. That went to pay back PayPal. I won't change the rating because of the hassle I went though. Still a bad experience

Texting me a 6AM about orders? What bunch of clowns thought that was a good idea? I was NOT happy to be woken at 6am on a work day. Then, when I send "Stop", They send ANOTHER saying sorry to see you go!". Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired!

Then I look at my order info from FEDEX, it says "Your package from RETURN CENTER" is on its way. I look up the address, and it's Walmart's return center. Are they selling me Used/returned items as a NEW item? Is that even legal?

I have been using the FREE version for a while, so I decided to buy it to support it. BIG MISTAKE! 1st, I didn't like the fact they signed me up for "AUTO-RENEW" without my consent. I hunted for more than an hour trying to find where to disable that. I complained, so they sent me a "Refund letter" and disabled my license. I still wanted it for the year, I just wanted the Auto Renew off and told them I felt that I didn't consent to that. 3. I have gotten over 20 emails over the 2 weeks. SPAM. These people are worse than the ones I used them to protect me against. 4. Even though they "Said" I was being refunded, and they disabled the license, I have not actually received the refund from 2Checkout. I had recommended Malwarebytes in the past, and still do bit I tell them DO NOT PAY FOR IT! Not unless you want to be spammed.

I stopped going, and I finally figured out why. It's not because of the workers, as they've almost always been friendly and helpful. It's because of the Donuts! I can remember getting Chocolate Covered Donuts with a nice hard Chocolate frosting. NOW, even in the winter cold it is basically a syrupy mess. It's really just sticky and gross. Chocolate frosted, Boston Creme, I don't even know if they still do eclairs. I can make the coffee at home, but not the Donuts. But these are no longer the donuts me and the family use to enjoy!

Where the heck is my BillPay? I can no longer find it anywhere! You guys are screwing me again! It is gone with no warning, and I have bills to pay. I better not get any late payment charges or a poor credit rating because you people took it away. As people can see, it's not under "Move Money" and not under "Transfer Money". In fact, it can't be found ANYWHERE on the site! You people are really something. Can you get any worse?

NEW: What a HORRIBLE Company. I have deleted my account so many times that I've lost count. But sometimes it's the only option. TODAY, like many times in the past, I go to buy something but my CC doesn't show in the pop-up! I worked a 1/2 hour before. The purchases show at my CC Company. But yet when I try to buy something else, it's broken. This happens way too often. So now I'm sitting on the phone with support for over an hour while trying to see if AI understands me. Nope. Just crappy music, a dumb BOT and wasted time. The item I wanted was the LAST ONE too. Thanks a LOT PayPal!

OLD REVIEW: HORRIBLE! I try to use them to send money. I use my Bank with a Credit Card Back-up. Try to send some money to grand daughters in college on holidays and for their Birthday. NEVER has it been a smooth process even though I have been with them for YEARS! At the completion of the process you get a message "The money will be sent right away". FALSE! 14 hours later and it is NOT in their email. It is NOT in their JUNK folder. THEY LIE! There has to be something better than PayPal. Well, VENMOO isn't it. Because they are OWNED BY PAYPAL! Both failed. 17 hours wasted...

Tip for consumers:
I sometimes get a 5% discount using PayPal, but when you have to spend over an hour trying to get the service to work, is it really worth it?

I liked Chase for CC's but had an issue back in 2020 (Old Review Below). But since then they've fixed most of the issues and I've again enjoyed using their cards that offer Cash Back! I save a TON on Gas, Groceries, Take-out, etc... I was getting a new card every few years and now have 3 Chase Cards. Out of the 12 cards I have, I use the chase ones the most. That 5% adds up :) I pay fully every month via BillPay to avoid interest. They also offer Credit Journey which is an awesome motivator to keep track of how your FICO is doing (Currently 824, WooHoo!), Other cards have their perks too, like Discover also offers Cash Back and Simplicity offers Two additional years warranty on some products whereas most others only double your product warranty (Did you even know that? Check your Card info). But 90% of the time I use one of my 3 Chase Cards. I'm Very happy with Chase now.

OLD BAD REVIEW:

I stopped using my Chase Credit cards for 4 main reasons. (1) You can no longer get statements from them through BillPay. (2) They provided a 12 month 0% transfer offer, but after accepting, they made 1st months payment equal 90% of the transfer amount. Basically, I paid a transfer fee and had to pay the total transferred to avoid interest. (3) No matter how many times I've asked, they will not stop sending me junk email. The emails contain NO opt-out links and going to the site and un-checking all marketing options does not work. (4) Their Fees for transfer are much higher than most any other card. They have gone from a 5 star Card provider to a one star in about 3-4 years. I recommend Discover or AMEX rather than Chase for Credit Cards.

Tip for consumers:
Try to find someone you know that already has a Chase Card BEFORE you apply and get them to send you a referral link. They get $100.00 and you get something too!!! (I got my granddaughters to sign up and I just gave them my $100.00).

I was hesitant to buy from ANY online Pharmacy, but with the great reviews and my Dr. having already had patients using HoneyBee, I decided to give them a try.

The same, exact meds I get from the "C" place are over 1/6th the price at HoneyBee It's crazy, and just shows how much the locals are ripping us off.

They shipped wicked fast, and the shipping cost is extremely reasonable. First order had a delay while verifying I am who I am, but that should be expected.

With hyper-inflation making it hard for us people on a fixed income to make ends meet I am REALLY glad I found them and gave them a shot.

Tip for consumers:
First order may take longer as they confirm you, Dr. and Prescription, but after that it seems awesome Fast shipping, but plan for shipping time...
