ASOS is a UK-based online fashion retailer founded in 2000, originally as As Seen On Screen. Headquartered in an iconic art deco building in Camden, London, it offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, and beauty products, targeting young adults globally. ASOS has a strong presence in the online retail market and emphasizes sustainability through initiatives like the ASOS Responsible Edit.
ASOS has a rating of 1.6 stars from 2,059 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with ASOS most frequently mention customer service, post office and next day. ASOS ranks 377th among General Apparel sites.
Notice all the reviews are the same except for a couple which the company themselves write to cover up all the fraud they have done. Just an advice to get back at the company, call your bank and let them know they are a fraud company that took your money. And never order again.
ASOS just "deactivated" my account due to their new shipping policy. I've ordered several times (even though they do mess up orders a lot) and I pay for the unlimited shipping and returns. This benefit is what convinced me to do business with ASOS. Otherwise, I would not purchase from an online clothing vendor due to the inability to try the clothing on, try different sizes, etc... No mention of refunding the prorated amount for the shipping services.
This is after them sending me only one shoe, incorrect items in correct packaging, the ill-fitting clothing. I have liked and kept plenty of other items to include clothing, shoes and accessories. I have never worn an item and returned it. I never violated a preexisting policy. Luckily, this happened before I purchased a large order for an upcoming vacation (which I have saved in my favorites).
I recently purchased a dress from this company, that they apparently ran out of. Instead of letting me know they didn't have the dress in stock, they sent me a completely different, cheap dress and never refunded me the difference. DO NOT buy from this company. Very dishonest business practices.
I bought 2 dresses for my bridesmaids. I received the items later than the expected date, but I recognize that this is because of the Canadian customs that held my items for more than a week.
I was quite pleased with the dresses, they looked exactly as in the pictures. I have to admit that I've seen better quality, but for the price I payed, it was well worth it. The dresses fit well.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!
I ordered a pair of tan heeled ankle boots from this site. I waited 2 days longer than what the site said the package should be delivered only to receive a pair of white flats. Although the sticker on the package says tan heeled ankle boots. Either someone really wasn't paying attention or the site did not want to reach out to inform me they were out of stock. The boots are no longer on the website. This is my first and last attempt ordering from them.
No tracking for the orders in Taiwan. Customer service chat is helpless. The order I placed later has arrived earlier. Once my cousin waited forever for the package delivery, and he chatted with the customer service. The answer he got from them is: wait couple more days after the estimated dated, we don't have the tracking for ur package, what they know if the package has arrived at ur country. What the answer? And he waited for over a week, and asked for REFUND. They asked him lots of questions, and try to get the refund process so hard!
Asos is normally straight forward and easy but i ordered stuff a couple of days ago and even payed for next day delivery but i only got 2 emails today at the same time telling me 2 different things and i don't know what is even arriving now they refunded cause they was out of stock but the website still has what i want in my size so how does that work? At 3:59 am today the emails said we have dispatched you're order but by the looks of it i am paying next day delivery for one $#*!ty 3 pound earing and i needed my clothes for tomorrow i cant even explain how angery and pissed off i am with asos!
I bought a pair of ASOS wedge chelsea boots which after a period of 4 months split at the soles on both feet (photo provided). Under the Consumer Rights Act the boots are clearly of 'unsatisfactory quality' and not fit for purpose but ASOS (a) tell me they will provide a refund after I return the boots (but never send me a return label despite numerous chasing); (b) I return the item but they refuse to acknowledge that the item is unfit for purpose and say that I have had the product for more than 28 days and thereafter (c) refuse to deal with my complaint any further because I've had it for an excess of 28 days! Are they crazy? Stay clear - I'll never order from them again! You can see the label on the bottom as I've barely worn them
It's a great website. All the products i purchased are of great quality. It's the first online store that i shopped from and it was a great experience. Customer service is very good. They reply to emails really fast. I received a reply in less than an hour and the latest they replied was after 7 hours. I'm from Mauritius therefore i wasn't expecting to receive the products that fast using standard shipping. I always receive it within 7 or 8 working days. The last product i bought was a suit and to my surprise i received it within 2 working days even though i chose standard shipping. Awesome website. I really recommend it to anyone. I'm a bit disappointed that there's no longer free standard shipping worldwide but nonetheless it's worth it given the type of service they offer.
My wife bought me a gift card for Christmas and when I went to register it on there website to use it I had discovered that it had already been registered thus rendering it useless to me. When I contacted Asos through there 'online chat group' for the first 30 minutes it was me against a computer and none of my questions anywhere close to being answered and then 'Martyn' introduced himself and then he was gone never to return... ever! My wife worked incredibly hard to earn the money to put onto that gift card only for it to be taken by Asos, sorry stolen by Asos and there doesnt seem to be any way of speaking to anyone to put it right. I guess that how they like it as thats how they have set up there company
I order two orders, the first the shipping company returned it without sending an email or anything. The second item, they sent to the wrong location before I told them that I need a refund for both and they can return both items. I got refunded for one item. The other item is sitting on a random location and they blamed it on me inserting the wrong location.
Staff hide behind Data Protection (inappropriately) when the question is too hard EG- when can i really expect my order to be delivered OR have you any idea of where it is at all... Appalling lack of understanding and clearly being remotely helpful is a step too far... Whomever delivers the customer service training needs to revisit their training and understanding or find another career as the message isnt being delivered and acted upon

I ordered a jacket from ASOS late November/early December hoping to receive it and give it to my wife as a Christmas gift. There was some confusion with the delivery between ASOS and DHL. I live in Japan, but my package was on it's way to Hawaii. I emailed ASOS Customer Care and a lady named Kim was the biggest help. She got the issue corrected immediately and I was still able to receive my package in a decent amount of time. I wish I had gotten her last name. Thank you Kim for your prompt response and for all of your help during the holiday season when things are crazy I'm sure. You are much appreciated! We loved the jacket!
A very bad customer service, cheap products and thiefs, they put an expiry date for their gift cards, so after that they take the money for themselves. So bad...
1 star is to much, I give them 0 stars, not surprised if they go bankrupt in the near future... How boohoo is cheapy but they still have better customer service...
I ordered a pair of shoes from them and received the wrong size. They took a long time to respond to my email that they had sent the wrong size, and then they sent the wrong one again! The staff was unhelpful throughout. Sending back my second pair of shoes... I'd avoid this company if you can.
I ordered a 53$ dress for my baby shower paid 20$ for the fast delivery to Canada so I wouldnt have to wait 3 weeks to get it. Then, I had to pay 23.62CAD of duty fees. The dress is too small (I took the measurements as said on the site). If I wanted to return it, it would be another 23 $! So I would end up paying 66.62CAD for a 53$ dress that is cheap quality... I'm never ordering from that site again.
Terrible customer service and unreliable return process. You need to keep track of all the items in your return and keep the receipt for the returns even if they send email confirmation that they received.
Bought a dress through this site and received an "unsuccessful order" email. I had applied a coupon code and the reason for the email is bc they said I needed to update my credit card information. Come to find out they screwed up and applied an expired discount code. They REFUSED to honor it despite the receipt that I had. I contacted them right away, they admitted fault and they did nothing about it. BUYER BEWARE, this company does not care about you.
I purchase a Crocs Clog US Size 6 on their mobile website. When I received it was size 6W 4M. There was nothing on the website which indicated the size was US 6 W. They refused to refund or replace the item. I could not believe a serious business would rather have a customer never buy with them again then do the right thing and replace the item. Just unbelievable.
As you can see in the attached images. The mobile site does not indicate any thing about Women or Men sizes. Just US 6
I tried to contact with someone from asos customer service thru their emails and messenger and they never responded to me. I paid for Express shipping to get my dress to my cousin's wedding on time. And they delay shipping for 4 days. So disappointing...
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
