They say my package was delivered to Meridian Mississippi.
This is a package that took over a MONTH to get to the Wrong address over 1700 miles away in Mississippi.

After having been a loyal customer for a decade the first time I had to rely on their customer service for a returned item they have failed me miserably. Emails are not being answered and I had to spend hours waiting for a service representative to pick up the phone just to be promised a call back that has never occurred. Beware of this company; the first time you will run into an issue with any delivery you will greatly regret ordering through them.
Very very very disappointed with the service. My item didn't arrive fully and was missing an essential piece 2x times I've ordered it. Custom service blames DHL and takes ages to figure out where it went missing. In the meantime they don't offer you any other alternatives. You have to call and follow-up on your request yourself.
It's been 2 months since my initial order and I'm still waiting for the solution. For such premium platform I would expect a real custom service - reactive and solution oriented.
My order is apparently on the way! But has been for weeks now. No further communication, I've emailed a number of times, now daily, but have not had a reply. I've called and no one answers. They have hundreds of pounds of my money and I have no item. This is absolutely shocking behaviour!
Bought a lamp which arrived broken and with no documentation, and no self-addressed sticker to return it. Spent ages trying to reach someone on the phone, several calls, several emails and yet, 3 months later only received a CHF41 refund which didn't even cover customs bill. Value of lamp CHF297 approximately still not refunded. Worst online purchase experience ever. Would advise everyone to be extremely careful if/when buying from them, but in particular, NOT to buy from them at all. They're crooks.
I placed an order and paid but 2 weeks later I receive an email saying they didn't receive my payment. Ever since then I've been trying to get in touch with them but so far without any luck. Now I don't know whether they've been able to locate my payment and if I will receive my order. Or maybe they simply don't care?

I ordered an armchair and paid for it weeks ago. They did not deliver on the day they promised, then they delivered the wrong item. I am waiting weeks and they do not answer telephone or email. Now that I have read the reviews below I am dreading that I lost my money... They say on their site they are best online furniture store in Germany, This should not be allowed to happen and the suppliers of them should be aware of this and not use them as a distributor.
Ordered a LED lamp in october, paid. The site stated not in stock deliver within 3 weeks.
After delay of more than 6 weeks lamp was delivered by the manufacture mid novemberLamp was supposed to be shipped by DHL. Tracking info was not complete. Called Ambiente customer service several times, promised to check and follow up with DHL, but never call back. Then in the last week of december, received an emal from DHL that the lamp is send back to their storehouse. Called Ambiente customer service again. They said they don't know why the lamp was send back. They have no additional info. No updates from storehouse, said they will send a request to ship out again. It's 2nd week of january now, the order is still open, no progress, no answer, no update!
I ordered an Eva product over 3 weeks ago. The money was taken straight away from my credit but nothing has arrived. Have sent numerous e-mails and tried calling but no response.
So wish I had read these reviews before ordering. What a SCAM! Why are the German price not doing anything?

I ordered some "in stock" rugs (order #*******) on Jun 17. The charge hit my credit card one day later but, I have not received any status communication. I've attempted to call, (twice) and have been on hold over 15 minutes before hanging up. I've sent 3 emails with no responses. Time to take it to the FBI and FTC.

I ordered a set of lights over 7 weeks ago! Had to make countless phone call costing me 40£££ to always been told we will forward on your request to find out about my order with no reply... Asked for a refund with no reply too! I've never experienced this type of really poor customer service... Do not order from this company! Just a complete joke!

Ordered a replacement part for a chair, paid upfront in December 2014, almost six months ago and no part received, even though I've called and emailed countless times.
Absolute write off. Thank heavens it was only a small order. Buyer beware.
Product may be fine but the service is quite appalling. Pay a few pounds more and go anywhere but here. They really are dreadful. They don't answer phones, don't respond to emails. Wish i had never come across them. Dont make the same mistake as me.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They don't answer the phone. I finally got a reply after sending several emails - it took a week - and I was told they only ship on Fridays! I wish I'd read all these comments before placing my order.
I had the same bad experience as everyone else, only ordered one light but 3 month of waiting and excuses. I am German and can't believe that a company can treat customers like that nowadays. All you expect as a customer is that you are informed if there is a delay with the delivery, a simple email would do. After 3 month and several telephone calls I cancelled my order and at least my money was refunded immediately.
I ordered and paid in full (using direct debit - stupid me) for an armchair for 3,500 euros in October 2014. Six months later, I have no armchair. I have repeatedly emailed the company to follow up my armchair and on the 2-3 miraculous occasions I have heard back from them, there is always an excuse along the lines of "it is the supplier's fault". I am trying to get my money back now but it proving impossible. They are scammers. Do not give them any money. I am devastated that people like this exist in this world that so blatantly steal from other people. I can't believe this is a company run from Germany which I thought had a sound business legal framework that would not allow such unscrupulous operators to continue to do business. Ambient Direct needs to be shut down.
Very very bad experience. The people working in the customer service are incompetent and helpless. I ordered on 28.09 and still haven't received my items, which went back twice to Germany because they could not fill out toll papers properly. Incredible lack of customer service. I wonder how they are still allowed to sell their stuff over the Internet. Do not use this website!
Same story. Items were supposed to be in stock but were not. After they did finally order the items, apparently the wrong ones arrived. All in all, I waited for the items 8 instead of two weeks. I called them several times and didn't get so much as an apology. Terrible service. Will never order from them again.
Same story for my order. Goods which were meant to be in stock turned out Not to be. Lack of information which is then followed by a lack of response. After I did send three emails trying to cancel the order because delivery would have taken several months I finally did get an email asking what I wanted to do. I told them again and have not heard from them since then (of course did not get the money back either...). Avoid this company!

Answer: My order number is AB00006347 and I ordered my products 29.01.2015. 3 months later they finally respond to my countless e-mails and tell me one of the products is not available anymore and was wondering what to do about my order. I told them that I want to cancel my order and want a full refund, since I also paid my purchase in advance. A person called Mai Nguyen returned my e-mail on 14.05.2015 saying that they have cancelled my order and I will get a refund within 14 days. I posted a review on this site about Ambiente direct and then Christine D. Answered me that her colleague Mai is taking care of my case and I get my refund asap. Today is 17.07.2015 and still no refund. This is just the worst company ever! I did expect a German company to be trustworthy but no. Tell everyone not to have anything to do with these people!
Answer: The way I finally was able to get my issue was resolved was through messaging them on their Facebook page. I had ordered two light fixtures and was short shipped only one. After bringing up the mishap to them and getting no response, then filing a charge-back which was reversed because of the tracking number for the single light fixture that I was shipped I started reaching out to them on Facebook and after pestering them for a couple of months via Facebook they finally refunded me my money. Their Facebook admin was actually quite responsive. I would never order anything from this company again. It was a nightmare to deal with them. Good luck!
