I've been a Prime member since they started the program. Savings on shipping is awesome. Customer Service stands behind ALL sales, even by 3rd parties. Delivery is always reliable.

I used to tell everyone how wonderful amazon prime was and about my two day deliveries... we started ordering everything from amazon... primarily because they would deliver 2 day UPS to our house - which U.S. P.S. Does not do - they do not deliver anything - even express or priority mail to the house where we live. BUT NOW AMAZON IS DELIVERING VIA USPS DESPITE MANY CALLS AND NOTES ON MY ACCOUNT... SO GETTING PACKAGES IN A TIMELY MANNER IS NOT HAPPENING OR AT EVEN RECEIVING THEM AT ALL - THIS IS NO LONGER WORKING FOR US - BUYER BEWARE! THEY AREN'T EVEN ALWAYS BEING SHIPPED AND/OR REC'D BY USPS WHEN ORIGINALLY STATED DURING ORDERING! TWO DAYS HAS A WHOLE NEW MEANING!

GOOD EXPERIENCE SO FAR
December 7, 2019

IT IS A GOOD PLACE TO BUY VARIETY OF PRODUCTS FROM DIFFERENT SUPPLIERS AND CONSOLIDATED TO BE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME DIRECTLY.
IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH ANY PRODUCT YOU CAN WRITE DIRECTLY TO THE SUPPLIER AND GET A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT WITHIN CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME OR IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE SUPPLIER CONTACT THEN AMAZON WILL TAKE IT BACK.

I buy everything that I can buy from Amazon prime. But then again, I absolutely hate shopping where I cannot find parking and have to deal with slow or worse, rude sales people.

I just cancelled my Amazon Prime Membership, after terrible customer service from three different agents, one was a supervisor. I ordered a Meta Virtual Reality headset at $385.10, It was not delivered, nor attempted to be delivered. I received a notice that there was a delivery problem and the item was being returned. I was informed I would have a refund in 3-5 business days. Stated on their website and with my return notice. That was 2/18. It is now 3/7 and I still have no refund. I chatted with an agent and a Supervisor who both informed me that I would "just have to wait." And to not expect the refund to be processed until 2/23. The Supervisor confirmed that the item has been received back by the warehouse but that they need 30 more days to process the refund. The agents were rude and not helpful. I called Customer Service nd they said "it is in the hands of our processing center." I requested that I be permitted to speak with them. She declined and said again "you'll just have to wait." I have been a longtime, frequent customer and Prime Member. They have my product and my money, but I will not be a Prime Member any longer. Disgrace.

The grocery delivery competition is on and it's no surprise that Amazon Prime Pantry is first class even as it evolves. Shipt the new entry into this new market competition hasn't missed a beat. Sadly, Walmart's 2-day Shipping has lost it's total mind... It can't keep food stuffs in stock; It doesn't respond to CSV requests to get stock--It has begun focusing primarily on the new 'Grocery drive thru Pick Up'. This OldLadyInIowa says "Thank goodness for Amazon's consistent dependability, quality & multi functionality--It is setting the bar high for all new comers to grocery delivery market.

I really wish they had someone you could call and talk to about this service. I have it, I've paid for it, but am still trying to figure all that is possible with this upgraded service.

I have been a retail store manager for over 20 years, and the most difficult situation's that can sometimes arise are with returns.
I recently was by looking for a personal desktop type evaporative air conditioning unit for my office space. I went through and read all the reviews offered of the top 10. Figure I would pick from 1-3 depending on price, and it was off season so some I might find on sale.
I found that most were on sale as close-out models. Except for #1@ $55. More money than I wanted to spend on my desktop.
Anyway I started with #2 model out of top 10 and ended going through 4. Before I found just one that actually would not leak.
Amazon Has no problem just taking them back one at a time as I would try them out no problem with customer service issues. All you had to do was give them a short explanation to why you return them. And then you could take them to your local Kohl's store in my area, Without even happen to put it in a box make a label or absolutely anything. Just take it to Kohl's they label it scan it everything send it back worry free. As soon Kohl's scans the product for return you get a refund back onto your card, Or how you purchased the merchandise.
Amazon I believe has the most outstanding customer service relations in returns policy better than even Walmart has you don't have to stand in line all you have to have is hit the button and take it to Kohl's or your local UPS store and you get a refund as soon as they scan it. I would definitely recommend Amazon as a place to shop online.

It is very convenient to have access to all of the things that I would normally have to take an hour ferry ride and borrow or rent a car to go purchase.

I have had awesome fun and success, and was more than pleased each and every time I visited amazonprime.com. After I purchased, I usually had items still left in my basket. ~lol~ An abundance of splendid and never before seen items. I then found amazonprime.com to be pretty amazing because I was allowed to know what items I was guaranteed to get the next day, in two days, or in three days postage free. Additionally, I also knew what items would take longer and were not postage free. Hint, hint: All prime items were postage free. Tell me, wouldn't you appreciate that information while shopping, too? I will answer for you. Yes, yes, yes, and yes.
Unless you just want to be difficult as usual, then of course I just answered for you. I do not deal in created negative drama. ~lol~ No worries. ~heh-heh~ One other thing about amazonprime.com is that there are so many items from A-Z that you and I can buy and if we spend a certain amount, they may just give us 90 days to pay for it if we ask or amazonprime.com might offer that benefit to you. Wow! For real though.

Signed up for Amazon prime at $12.99 per month, with introductory offer of $1.99 for one week. I only wanted the one shipment/one week service, so cancelled right away. Meaning, I would be billed $1.99 plus 6% tax ($. 12 for Ky sales tax) or a total of $2.11. Yet, they billed me $2.16? Synchrony Bank handles the credit card for Amazon ( which I also signed up for at the same time). I realize it is only a few cents more than it should be, but when I requested information from Amazon via Synchrony they just said it was taxes. Reading from a script no doubt and unable to get any further answers. Not sure why Amazon and Synchrony Bank would overcharge customers and claim it is for taxes. Amazon charges the correct tax (6%) on all the products I have ordered, why is Prime being billed incorrectly? This is worrisome on so many levels. If Amazon is going to inflate the actual published price of a service, they should have that information available to their employees so they can pass it along to the customers they so blatantly overcharge. Don't like feeling like I have been scammed and treated dishonestly.
If it is a legitimate charge, then they should be able to justify it with a breakdown, if there is a "service fee" it should be clearly spelled out on their website. SMH!

My experience with Amazon:

1) When I bough my first Kindle I bought a beautiful cover from Amazon. The quality of the cover is $#*!, showing signs of wearing several months after I purchased. So every time I see it or handle it I'm disappointed.

2) With Amazon Prime TV they give you enough of a series included with prime to get you hooked then make ya pay for each episode or wait years for Prime access.

3) Product quality from its vendor's very from good to $#*!. Example, bought batteries for my phone they were crap. The vendor replaced them with more crap several times. It seems if Amazon is making money and it is legal they do not care about the quality of their vendors/sources.

4) On their website they hide things you need (like your list of books on your Kindle) they've moved it several times making it harder to find each time.

I personally prefer doing business with companies I can count on for high quality products and services. With companies like eBay & COSTCO providing GREAT Customer service, long term well reviewed vendors and products why settle for mediocre at best.
I canceled my Prime account over a year ago, just given a free month membership with a purchases. Will do further analysis and decide if they've improved.
