I have been a retail store manager for over 20 years, and the most difficult situation's that can sometimes arise are with returns.
I recently was by looking for a personal desktop type evaporative air conditioning unit for my office space. I went through and read all the reviews offered of the top 10. Figure I would pick from 1-3 depending on price, and it was off season so some I might find on sale.
I found that most were on sale as close-out models. Except for #1@ $55. More money than I wanted to spend on my desktop.
Anyway I started with #2 model out of top 10 and ended going through 4. Before I found just one that actually would not leak.
Amazon Has no problem just taking them back one at a time as I would try them out no problem with customer service issues. All you had to do was give them a short explanation to why you return them. And then you could take them to your local Kohl's store in my area, Without even happen to put it in a box make a label or absolutely anything. Just take it to Kohl's they label it scan it everything send it back worry free. As soon Kohl's scans the product for return you get a refund back onto your card, Or how you purchased the merchandise.
Amazon I believe has the most outstanding customer service relations in returns policy better than even Walmart has you don't have to stand in line all you have to have is hit the button and take it to Kohl's or your local UPS store and you get a refund as soon as they scan it. I would definitely recommend Amazon as a place to shop online.

A refund or to return anything for exchange. I have tried several times to just exchange product that came in defective or was not able to be given to the person I have purchased it for under different circumstances. One being I purchased some thing from my daughter and massage. When it came time to get my daughter a massage the girl now has something that she cannot touch anybody. So I am out the $50 that I paid for the massage because Groupon will not get back to me.
Today I just received a infrared thermometer that I ordered thinking it would be an easy way to read temperatures of anybody in my household being this is a new thing. Much easier with the new thermometers than the old style. But mine came today and I've tried six sets of batteries in it and it will not even come on. Once again I have tried Groupon to get an exchange for my product or a return and Groupon sites says it is under construction. Which is the most common thing you get with Groupon if there is any response at all.
So, I don't know for sure if I would recommend Groupon. I have got good products as well as terrible products. Some of my good outweighed my bad. But losing $50 as a Christmas gift. I'm really not happy about and now this. I guess you could say I am just tired of not being able to get a hold of them.

After changing your delivery date on me I decided to cancel my order as I did not need the product anymore after my shoulder surgery. I would just buy it locally as it was more important that I had it at the time not in 10 more days. Requested that they cancel my order. I tried to call the customer service line they directed me to the chat line I tried the chat line and could not get through. I then went to the return site, I have wrote four emails to them trying to get them to cancel my order it has been an entire day and I have no response from Customer Service whether or not they are going to cancel my order. I can only hope that they follow through with the cancellation. As I am now look at the buying because of my needs.
This is my first time buying through this company I found their prices to be wonderful but obviously their customer service is terrible. Therefore I would never buy for this company ever no matter what the prices would be. Maybe that's why their prices are so good to try to compensate for the terrible customer service.
