The overall reputation of the company appears to be declining, with numerous customers expressing frustration over product quality and inconsistent service. While some positive experiences were noted regarding specific deliveries, the majority of feedback highlights significant issues, particularly with returns, customer support accessibility, and the handling of complaints. Many customers reported long delays in refunds and dissatisfaction with third-party seller transactions. Additionally, concerns about misleading promotions and inadequate packaging further contribute to a negative sentiment. Overall, the company faces challenges in maintaining customer satisfaction and trust.

So Amazon, its a great website no matter which part of the world you are in, as for me I am reviewing the Canadian Amazon.ca. Its a great site but for only particular goods such a Accessories, Jewelry, can find great deals on wrist watches. Such as Seiko Diver a Jewelry store or Sears will for $365 (example) the same watch can be found on Amazon for $280, now some people might ask how can Amazon do this? Its because Amazon get the products to you directly from the Manufacturer cutting the middle men out so the distributor and wholesalers in between are cut out thus saving on cost and other marketing efforts. Other great things to buy from Amazon are... well just explore its a lot of fun. Take care, any question just email me *******@hotmail.com
It is no secret that amazon.ca is no match for amazon.com. The free shipping, the prime, and everything else is so much better at amazon.com. But we Canadians have to live with whatever amazon.ca has to offer. It's still cheapest among Canadian retailers. I have purchased several items ranging from books, electronics, clothes, and so many other items and also returned a few items occasionally and they have always been satisfactory. So no issues with customer service. Also it's a great website for research as the product reviews are very detailed and helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 starts is because when compared with amazon.com it leaves a lot to be desired. Why can't there be a common website for US and Canadian customers offering same price and same benefits to everyone? Come on Amazon! Don't you want us to love you even more?
I rarely order from Amazon.ca as most of the products are grossly overpriced.
I agree with the previous customer 200 %, I will never shop on Amazon.ca again and would never recommend anyone to shop at their website either. Very unreliable and not helpful at all to solve the problem, their A to Z guarantee is not for the consumer. I cancelled an order placed by accident and contacted amazon.ca customer services and they couldn't solve the problem. I ended up receiving the product at a higher cost + handling charges. Very frustrating, awful experience with amazon.ca while other websites such as Well.ca is very consumer oriented and helpful in solving the issues not like amazon.ca. Denied my claim. I will no longer shop at amazon. Ca and will not recommend anyone either!
Amazon is one of my best experiences with online shopping.
Amazon.ca is allowing scammers on their website and then not supporting their customers they're gonna go out of business one day if they don't stop it. This isnt the first time I had a problem with Amazon so I thought I'd give them another chance and they blew it again I am totally done with them I'll shop eBay at least eBay support their customers had horrible service with Joseph on Amazon. Ca
[as so many US retailers won't ship to Canada, or jack up shipping fees...]
I love Amazon.ca I always check Amazon prices prior to making a purchase and they usually have the best prices! Shipping is often included in the price [this is sooo Great!] I've never had a product or shipping problem that hasn't been solved to my complete satisfaction by Amazon.ca Customer Service...
-Thank You Amazon for serving Canadians!
On Friday I ordered a cd from amazon. Can and noticed money come off my card. Monday arrives and they say Payment Revision. I phoned them gave them my reference number from the bank. Still they were not going to ship the cd until they got a payment. Payment was made.so i m out $20 I learned my lesson not to order from them again
My husband was banned from posting on the Amazon website (forums) for life, for posting the following sentence: "Who, other than the evil 'progressive' free-speech loathing Amazon censor, is stopping poor widdle *other people* you from sounding as stupid and whiny as you wish to?" They decided this sentence is spiteful and he is banned for life. BUT they have also banned me for life because their policy is that EVERYONE in the household is banned for life if someone says something spiteful on the forums or reviews. So now I can't answer questions on my reviews anymore... for life!?
www.amazon.ca is okay. The website is great as far as safety and reliability are concerned, but it just seems lacking in most of it's other areas.
Great spot to find items and comparison shop. We still need some more Canadian vendors.
Stay away, they are horrible in every way, they do not care about con artists on their site, they don't do anything to protect buyers. Bad bad place!
Amazon makes past reviews difficult to access. I could see only 5 reviews per view, then you click the forward arrow for 5 more. It takes too long. And if you leave the page, you lose your place.
Keep in mind, there are reports that many online reviews are fake. For example, this article in the Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/jan/26/fake-reviews-plague-consumer-websites
I wanted to quickly research a product on Amazon. There were over a thousand reviews, so let us see them! It would appear Amazon is hiding past reviews to protect the seller. How about protecting the consumer with a VIEW ALL REVIEWS button? Also a button to see ALL BAD REVIEWS? I think it's a scam.
A FEW HOURS after I bought something from these rip-off artists - I checked my order - and the selling price of what I bought HAD GONE DOWN BY ALMOST 10%
And you have to search and search and search to find a phone number to speak to a REAL person - and then they tell you: "Too bad. We don't price match."
Well it's your own price that changed in a few hours after I bought - and I haven't even received the $@%^$# thing yet.^#$# you!
Oh - and don't make this mistake of ordering DVD's before Christmas. You SHOULD expect them to TAKE TWO WEEKS to arrive!
Oh - and they sell GARBAGE so-called Dewalt sanding head attachments that become USELESS after a few minutes. You don't believe me? Read the reviews of Velcro attachment sanding heads for the Dewalt Oscillating tool."
I order a bosh slim grinder during the Black Friday sale. The expected delivery day was between Jan. 6 and Feb 2. In the middle of February I noticed that they cancel my order without even sending me an email notification. When I called their customer service they told me that they cannot get the item anymore and that's why they cancelled my order. If you consider ordering anything from them, be aware that they can cancel you order anytime - without even letting you know!
I tried accessing my account the other day and was unable to do so because of a security issue which would not allow me to get past the login page. I called them on the phone and got the run around from Amazon customer service. The first person that I spoke with was rude and hung up on me when asked to transfer the call to a manager. I called again and after answering the same security questions... believe it or not but they asked me at least 10 questions before I got fed up and even suspicious whether I was indeed speaking to somebody at Amazon. I mean why should I be giving out my private information to some unidentified person on the phone. I finally got to speak to a manager or at least somebody who called herself a manager and the same 10 questions and finally she tells me that she cannot help because I did not answer her questions correctly. This attitude left me speechless. I finally managed to access my account on my own without their help and the first thing I did was to cancel all my outstanding orders and then I closed my account. I have been using Amazon.ca for a few years now. During this time their customer service level has been deteriorating and I have come across an increasing number of product related issues. And their prices are nothing special. You can get better deals elsewhere. And the Canadian version of Amazon is really a very inferior version of the American version.

One of the best if not the best could not put the book down until it was finishes with in ture made me sad LOL
I purchased a book from a third party seller, they never sent book, no longer exist yet are still able to accept credit card payment, possibly forever. If Amazon.ca maintains this ability for them to steel money on the Amazon.ca site, then Amazon.ca needs to reimburse me.
Wouldn't you know it... I give a review then I end up calling them for help hours later. I have a Kindle that is about 4 yrs old & I found a small bright star (crack) in the screen after it fell out of my purse & in my car while at work. When I turned it on it developed a small bright star in the screen... looks like a tiny laser pointing in your eyes. Amazon can't fix the screen, but did give me $30.00 toward any Amazon.ca products. They didn't have to give me anything, but it is greatly appreciated. Thank you to Jerry, he was wonderful.

Answer: Don't believe their delivery guarantee. They are late 4/10 times and are unremorseful for it
Answer: Very tough! No longer usable fir me, a Top 1000 and Vines Reviewer.
Answer: If you need customer service good luck it's not existing
Answer: I've never had to pay duty on anything from Amazon.ca, even if it was shipped from another country.
Answer: Happened to me. Just another sneaky way that Amazon operates. Welcome to the club.
