DO NOT ORDER FROM BLOOMEX!

I wished I would have looked up reviews before I did. The biggest rip-off online site on the net. Period.

I ordered The "Classic Fuit Basket" is supposed to contain: 1 pineapple, 2 bunches of grapes, 4 bananas, 4 apples, 4 pears, 3 oranges, 2 nectarines, small cut flower bouquet.
Instead, this is what I got: 4 tiny old oranges, 4 pears, 4 apples, and 3 chocolate bars. NO FLOWERS!
So I called Blooomex and of course and complaints just go straight to voicemail. Again I left messages, and nothing. The next day I had to call their Sales line to actually speak to someone, they said they couldn't help me, as they were on the "Sales" line. When I pushed to have a manager call me back, I was disconnected.

FINALLY, a few hours later a Bloomex complaints manager called me back to say "We reserved the right to replace any items in your basket, with other items of equal value, if we don't have any of the items in stock". So I ask her: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is a completely different basket that I ordered, and what about the bouquet of Flowers?". She just repeats the Bloomex policy to me, and tells me "You really should read the fine-print before calling in with a complaint". They refuse to exchange or refund me for this basket and now I'm stuck giving my friend her birthday gift-basket 3 days belated. The BBB has the lowest rating possible for Bloomex and warns potential customers about them.

This is seriously the worst company I have ever ordered from and dealt with. I wish I live in the same city as their head office so that I can pay them a visit personally. This is definitely on my bucket list. Honestly, shame on Canada for even letting them still be in operation.

Tip for consumers: Check out all the reviews from different sites, and you can decide for yourself. A faceless Russian guy owns this business, who only shows up on positive reviews. When you press the "Contact" button, they just show different locations in different cities. I check out the Edmonton one, and there's no indication that there's a flower business there. It's all fake.

Chatango moderators are the worst on the net. I have so many friends that have had accounts banned over a typo, or a silly comment that a moderator doesn't like. They give no warnings, and half the chat participants are moderators. While one mod is warning someone, another one jumps in and just bans them. Then, there's no way to dispute these bans. The information on their website is useless unless you are a mod yourself.

Hey Chatango Moderators: Get a life! Half of you don't even chat. You're just their to wield your power by deleting messages and banning accounts!

I ordered a 25,000 BTU barbecue online, and I was delivered a 20,000 BTU one that was identical. When I contacted someone from Lowes, they said they didn't have a 25,000 BTU one in stock. I'm like "So, you just send them a lower model, and hope they don't notice?". Then they said, they would forward my complaint to upper management. I had to wait for a couple days before someone got back to me. We finally came to an agreement, that I would get the same discount on the 20,000 btu one (as it was not on sale).

In the end, I was fine with the resolution. I just don't like that they tried to slip it by me, and the fact that it took a couple days for someone to get back to me, as I feel is it's a serious "mistake".

I'm shocked that Amazon has such low ratings! I've had nothing but good experiences with Amazon. I order a lot of stuff because of the great prices and I love the "Prime" free shipping. Amazon's service is second to none, and the shipping is always fast. Out of all the online shopping sites, I feel the safest ordering from Amazon. I've always gotten refunds instantly, and they even refunded me for a purchase I made from a seller through their website.

I've only ordered a few items from DHgate, but so far, so good! The items were excellent quality, and shipped extremely fast (to Canada). I was really surprised that the items were shipped free, but still came with a tracking number! DHgate were always quick with their order updates, as well.

Overall, I'm very happy with my experience, and I'm glad I found this site. Thanks DHgate! :)
