I've been dealing with this Mickey Mouse organization for over 9 months trying to get answers. They are continually billing for contracts that are either cancelled, closed or have never been renewed. It's like a self administered root canal without freezing. Instead of spending money with these criminals we will be burning piles of 20 dollar bills every Friday in the parking lot. At least this way I will know what I'm getting for my money... the insurance business is less blurry and less confusing.
I signed up with Yellow pages 6 months ago for my business as a mortgage brokerage. I was promised that I would see traffic and my investment would be very worthwhile. After 6 months I have not received any viable calls for business ( I have received calls from people trying to sell me something).
I asked to cancel my account twice and Yellow pages has said no, because I have a contract, and they say I'm obligated until the end of the contract. What about their obligation to me to deliver positive results?
I would NOT recommend anyone deal with Yellow pages as they appear to only want your money and really don't seem care if they deliver or not, or if you are an unhappy customer.
I found that I got no business from my ad and after I closed my business, I could not close my account until my annual renewal date. I had understood it was monthly commitment. When I asked to speak to a manager, the call-taker refused.
So my payments over a year and four months bought me nothing. I had other sources of business, however, in the end I closed the business. When I attempted to close the account, I was told that I had to pay for it for another eight months. I just do not see this company as an outfit to do business with.
Henry has put forth impeccable effort in our house painting. He is professional and meticulous! It was a pleasure working with him I would definitely recommend his workmanship!
I get all my warehouse supplies from Champion in a very timely manner. Great service and my Sales rep David, I believe, sent me a sweet Blue Jay's order for a promotion they had on. Thanks David!

Mycontact, Sam, was extremely excellent, orgaized and thorough with his knowledge of premium business ideals for smart phones! He was a huge help> He really bridged the gap in my knowledge base. He worked with what I am able to afford as well which was delightful because it let me get in on some new business. I know that when I can afford it I will pay more. The kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. The only glitch is that when I went to pay he said that they didn't accept direct debit. I have no credit cards and my response was to say "You don't accept money?". I am so confused. Apparently some people stopped paying when they were paying with cash/cheque. It's too bad because I am sure that the people that paid probably outweighed the people that did not and in this case one rotten apple spoiled the bunch. Now I can't join. I feel marginalized due to my financial situation and limited as well. There has to be a better way than this. I know that accountants can write off loss so I wonder what the truth is. Maybe someone is lazy and scared or they just have a bad accountant. Anyways. I will come back when I have the credit.

Yellow pages is a dinosaur that is losing market shares in marketing industry at rapid speed. The only way to keep in the business is by taking current contracts in hostage. Can't be cancelled and can't be downgraded eventhough they are able to offer new customers at 15x less of the old contract price. They outsource their "customer service " department to a company which operate based on bullying small businesses, not willing to work with their customer, yet claim to provide service. Small business owners, please do not subcribed with Yellow Pages, regardless what they offer. They are not a good business partner to work with if you want to grow your business.
The only calls I get is from clients asking for another insurance company. Yellow pages sales people promised to help find you leads and after you sign up they disappear and I'm left with a $450 monthly payment. I would recommend advertising with Google or FB by yourself.
One of the other reviews mentioned that YP cut and pasted there website. Well its true. This is what they did with mine and now charge me 500/mth. For what they consider good work. I've spent 3 months trying to sort out the mess they created. I have not received ONE phone from this YP campaign. They look good, smell good but are rotten on the inside. $6000. 00 down the drain because I am unfortunately stuck in a 1 year contract. All I can say to others is," stay away and put your money to better use". Don't be fooled by the sales pitch.

Be aware customers, they said my adv is on Google when it never has been posted I requested to opt. Still sends me invoices and do not return calls or emails. Do not waste your money.
Very frustrating dealing with this company
Calling Customer Service they pretend they cant hear me when I am talking about high price charges after cancelling. Secondly been with them for a little over a year and Zero Results. Your better off going with an oversea marketing advertising company. I have to call numerous time to get one issue resolved.
Yellow pages is behind the times. After 8 months, not a single client. When I called to share my unhappiness their response was sir we don't make any guarantees and sorry you've signed a 12 month contract so we can't cancel. Not even my profile photo and descriptive criteria were loaded, despite these being sent 6 months ago!
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read about your experience. Could you contact us at 1-844-875-4290? Our team will be able to help make updates to your profile. Thank you.
Absolutely SICKENING company, ruthless, rude, barbaric business behaviour!
The worst of the century. Don't even waste $1.00 of your hard earned money with
These bastard scammers. Their representation will plummet and shatter to pieces.
I give YP one star because there is not option to give them less than that. Bunch of scammers. Stay away of this Company. They will take your money ( In my case, $300.00 during three months) and you will only receive junk calls.
Hi Julio, we're sorry to read that you had a less than pleasant experience working with Yellow Pages. We are continuously working to deliver top quality products and service to our small business partners, and take any complaints very seriously. If you need more support or clarity with a particular incident, please feel free to call 1-877-909-9356 during business hours and one of our representatives would be happy to investigate further. Thank you.
What an absolute scam of a company! Advertised with them online for 3 years, tried to cancel the service because the ad was all wrong and did absolutely nothing for the company. They continue to send bills for months of service we don't even have! Ive talked to a dozen different people nobody will actually help you. This and 411 are pure scams nowadays! Beware, even as a brand new business, I would never sign up with these bunch of liars. You're far further ahead going to better off without.
Exactly like all of the other reviews. They auto-renew without letting you know, and make it absolutely impossible to cancel. Customer service was incredibly rude; even somewhat gleeful that we were "too late" to cancel, despite the new period not having started yet. I'm furious at the absolute lack of regard for the customer. Is tricking people the only way that they can make money these days? YP received THOUSANDS of dollars from us over the last three years and in no way benefited our company.
Hi Jessica, we woud like to apologize for your experience.
We are proud to help Canadian small and medium businesses grow with a wide variety of marketing solutions. Our contractual terms are for a 12-month period (or a 6-month period for certain products). Customers are able to cancel their contract with Yellow Pages by providing notice 3 months before the expiry of the term. If not, contracts automatically renew, as mentioned in our terms and conditions. We invite you to contact us at 1-844-875-4290 to discuss this further. Thank you.
Yellow pages was the worst advertising you could possibly get. If we could give 0/5 we would, not even joking.
Customer service is terrible, they hide important information in the contract so read that carefully, or listen over the phone carefully and ask questions and them to repeat it... but just don't go with yellow pages and save yourself from all of this. For example, they mumbled over the phone that our rate per month in locked in so had resign for another year 3 months in at a new rate, which they said we're lucky they even did that and above all this... all the calls we got was from other advertisers. Worst decision our business ever made but biggest relief getting rid of them. Hope this helps someone out there.
Best advertisement is truck or car graphics we have found at a way lower cost. Take care
Genuine Electric Inc.
I would rate them them as snake oil salesmen saleswoman but at least with snake oil you have ano empty bottle to use when it's over. They took over 3 weeks to put on my correct business address all that time I have semi truck drivers some with b trains heading down a residential Blvd. After over 50 emails and over 25 phone calls they managed to finally change it. Wow this is the worst company on the history of Earth.
Dont even think about advertising in YP, you will have no leads at all, and when you will try to cancel the service, if somebody even answer you, you will realize you are attached to a 12 month contract, then you have two options to waste more money, to pay the rest of the contract in one single payment, or to keep paying monthly. Run away from these people. What a mistake I made!
I posted a bad review on company, which was approved. I went back to edit it then received a bot email stating the review is down because it is "clearly spam or contains duplicated content."
Well, it's hard to argue with an algorithm. Sent four emails. One email explaining I made only minor edits, and why. 3 others asking them to explain why my review was rejected. They have not bothered to reply. In my view, unprofessional, for sure. I'm quite disgusted.
Answer: Hire a lawyer. They are scam artists... trust me. Stay far away from this company

Answer: They also posted my personal information to their site without permission. I recommend reporting them to Canada's Anti-spam regulatory body. You can report them here: https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/eic/site/030.nsf/frm-eng/MMCN-9EZV6S
Answer: My son in high school was harassed by a telemarketer and said no. He created an IT website in HS for a class. Two months later I got an invoice for $57 month. I told them my son has a Communication Learning Disability, a Medical Disability and is being treated for PTSD. They refused to help. I will go to BBB and ask my lawyer. My son should have hung up but they coerced him and he was too young and naive to know better. Shame on them!
