I was excited to receive my 1st package (which took at least 10 days), only to find an old, faded pair of jeans and a wrinkled dress that was stretched so far past it's original state the elastic had snapped in some places. I didn't even try on. A total disappointment. If this is what their company considers good looking clothes I guess in looking in the wrong place.
I really enjoyed the service. If you are good about returning the items quickly, you have an ever changing wardrobe. I also enjoyed buying the items I loved at deep discounts. I have paid less than $10 for some of my favorite items, which, yes they are used, but this rivals any thrift store. My only gripe is that it is really difficult to cancel. You can't do so online and have to talk to a rep on the phone, who of course tries to persuade you to stay. At this time, I can't afford the service and cancelling it was a real pain.
... and they are getting worse! Very few items to choose from since the pandemic started. Turn around times becoming increasingly slower & slower. I think we all understand that this is a difficult time, but this company has failed to acknowledge it's issues. And, of course, still paying the exact same price for a much slower, desirable service. I've enjoyed this company for the past six years, but I think it might be time to cancel..
I love the idea of renting clothes and find the process very easy. Unfortunately, I'm finding that it takes longer to get the next shipment than it really should (especially when they know the package is coming - because the postal service checks it in).
I paid for my items, I cancelled my service and I got charged $142.
Just a ripoff to suck money from your bank account hoping you don't notice.
Never trust one of these companies unless you use a limited fund gift/debit card.
They won't let you cancel online, even though you can do everything else online. And if you call the day your subscription renews they won't refund your money. The clothes are very expensive to buy if you like them. The shipments are not sent as quickly as they could be and you will spend way too much on very little. Save yourself the headache I'm dealing with and go with Stitch Fix or something like it.

I thought this was a service like Stitch Fix etc., but it is not. It really is a garment rental business. They send you clothes (that have previously been worn and dry cleaned) and if you like them you can purchase them or just wear them (for up to a month) and then return them. So for your $79 per month you are paying for the privilege of renting used clothing. If you buy them, you are purchasing used clothing at full price. Never again!
I tried a free trial, and the items they sent me were absolutely terrible. I did completely forget to return them, and they continued to charge me $50 a month for a year. Then when I lost my debit card and it changed, they continued to rack up a $500 bill for the three items of clothes I had already paid hundreds of dollars for. Then sent it to collections. Absolutely ridiculous to be charged $500 for three items of clothing I forgot to return after having already paid them hundreds of dollars. This company is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with

I have enjoyed Gwynnie Bee for few months now. I started with the three garments out at a time and now am doing the Five Garment plan. The clothes are super clean and like new. I have also purchased several of the items. All items are dry cleaned and I havent got even one yet that doesnt fit. You keep them as long as you want so long as you are paying your rental plan. Or if you send back one or two they promptly send you as many different as you sent back. That way you always have the same amount of clothing as the number you are paying for. They do this quickly. Even during COVID -19. They size everyone. From small to super plus sizes. They have occasional sales when you can get items at yard sale prices. They do this once a month so be on the look out for their super sales. My only complaint is they only put a few new pieces out per week. The point earning system is better than anyone elses I have subscribed to. Give her a shot! Thanks Gwynnie bee! I love my GB! XXx
Their service is so terrible they make it impossible for you to cancel in a digital age where consumers have the right to change their minds and cancel online. They make you call them during 9a - 5p and then they try to "save" you with sales pitches and discounts. So much hassle it took me months to cancel and that's exactly why the make this so difficult. >:-(.
I used the service regularly in 2015 but ended up being dissatisfied with the quality of the clothing -- tried to give it another shot but now I'm just dissatisfied by the customer service so I won't be back.

I have been using this site for over five years and I consider it a lifesaver. I love the fact that I can wear new items all the time, and try different things and be more daring than I may normally if I were purchasing an item. I get lots of compliments on my new outfits and I love being able to change frequently.
I signed up several years ago on a lark. I have really grown to love this service. I really don't shop for clothes anymore. I use GB to try new things and if I can't live without the piece I buy it and if I can, I just send it right back and get something else. It has opened up a huge wardrobe for me. There have been very few hiccups over the years. But the couple issues I did have were handled quickly and efficiently.
As someone who hates shopping but loves clothes, Gwynnie Bee has changed the game. I love being able to fill my closet, getting the new box and always having a variety of options! This is the best subscription ever!
I've been using GB for a couple of months now--the first few which were half off (which was a great deal!). It's amazing how quickly things were turned around when I notified them I was returning an item... within days, they'd have another one out to me. But now that I am a full paying monthly member--the items take at least a week from the moment I notify them.
Timing is certainly suspect... methinks they may put a "slowdown" on your items once they have you hooked!
Loving the concept of always having new clothes to wear without commitment. I get to try new things out of my normal comfort zone with the option to buy. Shipping does seem a little slow and some garments are out of season or my size is not available. Great to have reviews from real people helps making fashion decisions easier. I also like being able to purchase items especially in clearance for sometimes as little as $7.
I enjoy trying on new clothes and wearing to see if item is a perfect match in fit, style and comfort. Love GB! Value & cuteness blends together to give me more confidence in my wardrobe and the many compliments dont hurt either.
I am just thrilled with this service. I signed up for 7 pieces per week, and I know I'm still saving money on clothes because with this service I am no longer tempted to shop elsewhere. When I use the size charts for each item I get a great fit. I probably send back about 3 out of 7 pieces because they just don't look good on me, but how marvelous that I get to try these things at home! I've stretched my style boundaries, and that is a real blast! Customer service has been prompt and always more than satisfactory. I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and try Gwynnie Bee!
I just started using Gwynnie Bee recently. Unfortunately the move to Ohio did not clear up their shipping delay issues. I LOVE the concept but feel like I am getting ripped off given the slow processing. I used the return notify feature on the day that I shipped the items back. They received those items 2 days ago and my new order hasn't even been filled yet, much less shipped. If they could find a way to speed up their processing time I would probably continue the service after the trial. I am a size 14 and found many items to put in my closet but did have to pass up quite a few because all sizes were too big. I used to hear stories of people using the return notify feature and new items being filled before Gwynnie Bee even received that shipment back. If I could get a new shipment within 3-4 days after shipping stuff back, I'd be sold. But having to wait a week or more after sending clothes back to receive new ones is not going to cut it.
I could not be happier with my Gwynnie Bee experience. Before signing up I was constantly stressed about what to wear each day and generally feeling frumpy and too overweight to be attractive. Now I have beautiful clothes that fit me perfectly all the time. My coworkers love to see what new outfit I'll have on next and I get compliments from all kinds of people ALL the time. It's also a blast trying new things risk free and getting to keep what I love. Not only has my wardrobe improved, but my confidence has as well. Gwynnie Bee is one of the best things I've done for myself in a long time.
For a service that provides plus size cute styles it is fantastic. The biggest challenge I have with GB is with the shipping experience which is often a negative one. I enjoy the products and have a lot of fun wearing them. It usually takes about 5-10 days to receive a new outfit, which is a very long time considering that you pay based on outfits checked out to you at one time. However, it's almost always worth the wait. I like to use this service for work so I can stay stylish on a budget. I live in a hot climate all year rounds, so I do wish they would not change everything over seasonally as I am never able to wear a sweater material.

Answer: They are used but have been laundered - you have no need to do that unless you wish to do so. Also they are usually in excellent shape. If you ever receive anything that isn't, make sure you let them know so they can pull it from their inventory.
