Yes, you will most often get used items. However, when new selections come out, you will get an email. You can then sign in and add what you want from new inventory. If the timing is right, the next item you receive might come from the new selections.
For the most part, the clothing is in decent shape. I have had some issues, however, such as bring able to detect someone else's perfume and the occasional pet hair. On several occasions, items received were clearly past their prime with pilled fabric and faded colors. Those situations were rare but enough to make me consider terminating membership.
