It just cost me $83.94 to look at their clothes -- which I did not like and did not order. They charged my credit card for "membership". When I contacted them to explain that i never intended membership and never ordered any clothes, and requested a refund, they were very responsive, until I asked if they were going to refund my money. At that point, I got the same auto generated email over and over - "We've updated your request. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions." Which I did four times and just got the same response. They basically just stole $83.94 from me. I am so not happy with this company. STAY AWAY!
I can't say enough about Gwynnie Bee! The clothes are amazing, the customer service is great. What s great way to try different styles without breaking the bank! They have made dressing for work FUN and no longer a chore, always feeling like "I have nothing to wear!" Gwynnie Bee has definitely made me a fashionista!
Yep I'm a stay at home mom. I love GB because it gets me out of my every day active wear. I do the 2 items at a time. It's perfect for me because it changes up my date night clothes and I wear something different every single week to church. AMAZING! Also, I had weight loss surgery 6 months ago and it was nice not needing to buy new clothes that I would only wear for a short amount of time. I could quickly go in my gb closet and change the sizes of my items.
The service is good in theory. However there are certain things I want for a specific event, but even though they're marked as priority I don't receive them when I want them. I understand it's impossible to give everyone exactly what they want every box, but it makes this service pretty useless for me. It also is more than I'd spend on new clothes in a year.
So, I've decided to give Gwynnie Bee a second chance. I cancel once after the trial and then came back. However this time, I think I may cancel for good. The huge problem that I see is that Gwynnie Bee is really behind in there clothing being caught with the season. For example, being that this is Fall-Winter... we should be seeing more of such and not a bunch of sheer spring and summer items still around as well as summer prints. It kind of spoils the mood. I think this time I may cancel for good unless they change this!
I have had to deal with customer service on several occasions where I misunderstood the way processing works. They took the time to show me how to get the best out of my membership! They went above and beyond what was expected when at the brink of cancellation to keep me. I only wish the would offer upgrades on the amount of articles every few months as a loyalty thank you.
Complete lack of problem solving. You would rather lose a customer than resolve a SIMPLE ISSUE. I accidentally purchased my at home product when I signed in to my account. It came up as a returned favorite. I realized my error immediately. I called and was told there was nothing they could do. The package was already placed to order and the could do nothing to stop it! Nothing. There was no fix at all. I ended up cancelling my whole subscription because this company would rather spend excess time, resources and money to not atop anything and not offer any alternative solution. When I said cancel, I got a read from the screen offer, so apologies, no we want to keep you. An immediate you'll get your email shortly! You cannot, ever, work in customer service and not have any solutions. And simply not care whether you keep a customer or not! Amazing!
I thought this was going to be a waste of time and money. I thought renting clothes was weird. I have been using Gwynnie Bee for over four years now, and I have never received so many compliments on my wardrobe in my whole life. I have never received items that were dirty or looked liked used clothing. Everything comes in looking brand new! Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
I'm very frustrated when I pay Up to $200 a month for this service and have to go 4-5 days without any new clothing to wear. GB needs to work on getting shipments out faster and taking into account processing and shipping times. I would've kept my higher plan if this had been done but I was Still receiving shipments slower. Besides this important issue, I am Pleased with the app and variety of styles and sizes that are a available from GB.
After seeing a few video ads about Gwynnie Bee I was intrigued by their offerings and signed up. Upon receiving items I was pretty disappointed with the wear and tear of one of the items. Soon after, I had to leave out of the country for a family emergency. Upon return, I noticed I had been charged a 74 dollar fee. I called to cancel my subscription and to get my money back as I was not going to use their services that month or thereafter, but was denied a refund because they simply do not do refunds. The agent I spoke with was quick to defend their policy, almost as if that is the only type of phone calls they receive. Overall greatly disappointed. Do not recommend to anyone!
I had a scary moment with Gwynnie Bee last night were they took an unauthorized payment of $594.51 from my account. I called them today and was told that I would get a full refund of this money. The customer service today was good and the ladies that I spoke with were both very friendly and apologetic. I have not received my refund as of yet but they did let me know that it would take about 24 hours to post. I will update this review when I receive the money.
I quite Gwynnie Bee two years ago when I had a job change and moved to another city. Come to find out, two years later, I see that they had been taking money out of my account this entire time. Of course I was furious at them but more at myself for not noticing it on my bank statements for so long! I tried reaching them by email and then someone by the name of Clark reached out to me and they are refunding my money that I never used and the customer service on the phone was so outstanding. For a company to say on the phone that they pride themselves in treating their customers with respect and wanting them to love the service and then refund 2 years worth of payments just blew my mind! I will forever be a Gwynnie Bee fan and will probably start their services once again. I loved it when I got the outfits but love them even more now! Thank you Gwynnie Bee for being the great company you are! You have my highest recommendation!
Gwynnie Bee has a one month free trial period where it specifically states in their "FAQ"
Section that your credit card will NOT be charged until the trial period has ended. However, when I joined, I received an immediate alert that my credit card had indeed been charged. I called, and their argument was that they immediately reverse the transaction. Regardless of this, it is going to take you at least 48 hours to see those funds back on your card again, as I spoke with my credit card company to confirm. This is false advertising in my book. They are aware they are doing this because when I cancelled, they wanted to know why. One of the selections on the list was "my credit card was charged". Are you kidding me?
I signed up for the free one month trial and was overall disappointed. They ship from Ohio using USPS and honestly it is really slow. From the time I ship back to get a new package it is about a week. It would be better if as soon as you mark it as shipped back they sent the new garments but they wait to have them in hand before sending anything new out so the wait time is just way too long. A lot of the clothes are cheap quality and cost a decent amount on the sites they come from, but honestly when your weight fluctuates and you don't want to constantly be buying new things it is a good thing to be able to rent. I wish they had more styles that I liked and shipped faster because I would consider keeping a membership but I honestly cannot deal with how slow they are.
I enjoy receiving a new box for Gwynnie Bee every time. The fit is always spot on. Only drawback is the prices when you want to buy an outfit. I would've brought a few of the dresses but it was above $50. Which is not a good bargain to me.
I have signed up for the service twice. I liked being able to have some more variety in my wardrobe and the option to buy pieces I liked at a discount. I also received tons of compliments on my looks. I also noticed a good decrease in my laundry loads. The service is expensive. The turn around of items is slow. The sizes available for me have decreased. Now some clothing only goes up to a 22 or 24. The abundance of cardboard boxes I have accumulated is insane. But, I did miss the service enough to come back a second time. I wish it was cheaper and offered more options for super fats. The outlet is a hit or miss thing, but I'm glad they offer it. I wish there was an option to choose one item you'd be guaranteed, although sometimes they do a pretty good job sending priority items.
I more often than not don't get the selections I'd like. Either they don't have my size available, or even when on "priority," I never manage to receive them. It doesn't seem like the "priority" setting does much in determining what I receive, which is frustrating.
I'd like to see more prints and styles that are on trend. A lot of GB clothes are matronly or have dated prints. Summer is usually a bust for me because I can only wear so many dresses. Fall and winter seem to have a more modern, diverse selection.
My professional life has changed since I joined Gwynnie Bee. Appearance is an important feature of being a leader and I had such a hard time finding appropriate outfits and those that fit well. 90% of the items I receive fit great. I love being able to choose items that I would have never chosen for my self in the store. My confidence has improved and my administrators notice me now. Thank you, Gwynnie Bee.
Some months I really love Gwynnie Bee, but most months I can't seem to find any items I like! And when I do find something I love, it sits in my cart forever and almost never gets chosen to be sent to me. It's over $70 for only 2 items at a time, and if you want to buy something, most items are over $90. That's just way too steep for secondhand clothes.
Answer: You have to re-add them, but there is a "history" section that keeps track of your items so they are easier to find.
Answer: The clothes are cleaned and then sent out to the next person who requested that item in that size. After a period of time (not sure how long) the clothes are put into their for sale section of the site. I've purchased several items after wearing them at incredible savings.
Answer: They are used but have been laundered - you have no need to do that unless you wish to do so. Also they are usually in excellent shape. If you ever receive anything that isn't, make sure you let them know so they can pull it from their inventory.
