Do not book with this company under any circumstances. I will post everywhere I can so people are aware. My son had to change his flight to an earlier one due to severe weather alert in Brisbane and they will not refund us the $409.08 they charge to change the flight. Qantas, Jetstar, virgin all had free flight changes due to the weather alert. The airport was closed due to the weather. I will not stop contacting and take it wherever I can until these scammers refund that money. Absolutely despicable. And they lie and try and use any excuse to say why they can't refund it. Have currently lodged a complaint through Qantas about them to see if they can help or who I can lodge further complaints to against this company. DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH THIS COMPANY

Their customer service is a joke, their employees lie through their teeth, and they will take your money without delivering what they promise. Yesterday, I spent the ENTIRE DAY calling their so-called "customer service," trying to change my flight. Every single representative I spoke to fed me the same lies:
"We are handling your case right now."
"You will receive an email in 15 minutes."
"We are speaking with the airline as we speak."
"Just be patient, we are finalizing everything." NONE of it was true. Hours later, I called back (again!), only to be told they never even contacted the airline in the first place—meaning they LIED TO ME ALL DAY LONG. They wasted my time, failed to provide any solution, and left me stranded before my flight. My flight is in 2 hours and until this moment I wasn't able to change it as they didn't emailed the info regarding the new dates I've requested. This is NOT a real. This is fraud, and I will be reporting them to my bank, consumer protection agencies, and every legal channel available. 📢 If you value your money, DO NOT BOOK WITH BUDGETAIR.

I booked a ticket and paid extra to be able to cancel the flight if needed.
When I tried cancelling the flight 20 days before departure, I wasn't able to do it online because they couldn't find my email or booking number even though they sent me the booking number via email provided.
I tried cancelling on the phone and as soon as I said that I want to cancel the flight I got hung up on 11 TIMES!
So if you would like to have a nervous breakdown while booking a flight, go ahead and use budgetair!

BUDGETAIR SCAMMERS! Dont book with them! Client service absolutely useless! Booked a flight,(they made some changes later on - what is completely understandable and acceptable), everything was fine till travelling day came - couldnt check in online it said we have to do it at the airport. We arrived at the airport and this is where all fun started, they couldnt check us in the flight! Some information was missing from Budget Air or ETIHAD (they are blaming each other for that). No help at all, hours on the phone with BudgetAir and Etihad - never boarded the plane! Flight was changed to next day and cancelled by ETIHAD again!because budget air didnt complete reissuing tickets. They did nothing to fly us out! It was 3 week family trip in Malaysia and Thailand! We also had internal flights, hotels booked - we lost everything! Kids are devastated unable to even talk for two days, there were so stressed by all this!
It seems that the company is defraud its customer by charging them $110.00 administration fee for tickets that listed as 100% refundable. The fee is not disclosed on the page when purchasing the ticket. They hide the information in their Q&A for customers not to see. After you purchase your ticket you will be surprised with undisclosed extra charges.
Absolutely terrible experience with Budget Air. I booked a flight and needed to make a correction, but despite contacting them every day for six weeks, they never resolved the issue. Their communication is non-existent, and the lack of a phone number makes it impossible to get any assistance. Avoid this site at all costs!
Looks like everything I've experienced with this terrible company has been endured by countless others. The chat agents repeat the same mindless responses after hours of waiting to get a flight booked because of flight cancellations due to a weather event. This is the worst that I've experienced especially considering that work days are being missed because of being stuck on my way home. Told to initially wait 4-5 hours, then an hour, than another hour, etc, etc. I was advised that a 'specialized team' was on the case BUT after waiting another 12 hours and having been now delayed well over 36 hours was told to connect with the airline. Have now had to book and pay for another flight because of the incompetence of this bunch of shysters.
I booked 3 tickets on this platform and confirmed the payment without any extra service or amenities.they charged me $77.70 for airhelp compensation which is a service I did not pick or see throughout the booking.i tried to contact them to ask for a refund but they don't have any contact number or live agent except a robot agent which takes control of topic he picks.they are rude and you will never get your right reserved.never book on this agency again.
This company a $#*! in stupid company. They issue duplicate tickets, cancel flights, change schedules without notice, and provide poor customer service. I did Flight Booking for my mama, paid the amount and got the booking number and at the time of booking there were 4 seats available and that's why i properly booked the flight as you can see screenshots.
I was waiting since booking to receive the acknowledgement email as informed by BudgetAir (Screenshot attached) and your can see there's nowhere mentioned about under review or possibility of cancelation.
But then after 2 hours budgetAir sent me email that your booking is canceled and you have to book it again.
I tried with helpline and they are also same like their company, they said to book it again with increased price and wait for previous amount refund for at least 5-10 days.
BudgetAir is really scammers and cannot stand on their own booking and then saying to refund the amount in 5-10 days.
I have the mistake of booking thru BudgetAir.com and the moment I booked it the problem starts. It is so difficult to get hold of them and they have given me a lot of hard time and stress on my booking. The worst part is the ticket that I bought for my mom thru this agency and she passed away before she was able to use the inbound ticket. I tried to do a refund and since I didn't book directly from the airline, they told me that I need to process the refund thru BudgetAir. Without empathy at all, BudgetAir give me a hard time again processing the refund up to the point that they don't answer my emails and up to this time, they ignore me. Do not book to this agency! I am informing all my friends and family not to do any booking on this agency!
Their website is so minimal and just sends you in loops instead of actually answering any questions. It tells you to "upgrade" just to use basic services on the website, but doesn't tell you a price to upgrade after you've already booked - just sends you an email saying to confirm the upgrade (which I won't do since I don't know how much they'd charge me). There was no place for me to add wheelchair assistance for my mom - which every other website i've used has - so I had to email them to ask about it. When I tried calling their customer service line (which I only found in the email confirmation - not on their website), it just basically has an auto msg that says they're not taking any calls because they don't have enough staff. Kind of ridiculous how poor the service is from this site and I'm just praying that everything goes okay with the flights since it was a decent deal.
Do not book through here, they don't have a phone number to contact and do not provide anywhere close to decent customer service. They messed up my name on the ticket and there was no way to get in contact with them other than email, caused me to miss my flight and most importantly missed out on two days that I could've spent at my destination rather than more travel time. And when they finally responded to my email they didn't do anything to make it right,highly suggest booking elsewhere even if they provide a cheaper ticket,paying extra is worth having the peace of mind that you can contact someone if you have any issues
Worst customer service. I tried to reach them to cancel the ticket within 24 hours. Their website said no telephone service available. So I sent email for cancellation. They responded after 24 hours saying full refund window is closed and I will be charged $900 per person. Pathetic…
Fake scam website, I bought a ticket then I got hospitalised and it was impossible to travel. Tried several times to contact the customer service, but no way to do so. Chat with us is just a boot that answer you automatically, and messenger call is always unreachable. I lost 1000 Euro ticket, even dispute through paypal doesn't work. I don't recommend it to anyone.
Our return flight tickets were confirmed while purchasing but got cancelled unexpectedly days before the flight without any explanation. The customer service was lousy and rude by telling us that there's nothing they could do and if we don't accept, they could cancel on us! Worst company ever!
I made my purchase, got a reservation number and no e-ticket. They sent a message saying I would receive it within 24 hours. Never did! Contacted their customer service only to be disconnected 4 times asked for the same information 10 times all to be told they do t see my information. I showed them payment taken from my American Express and still nothing.

Extremely poor, they email me only the number of gate without Terminal or even which part of gate like A, B, C, D, E, F.
The booking reference for check in was even wrong.
On the screen my flight was not showing what gate aswell. I missed two flights because poor informations, they didn't refund my money.
I had to sleep one more night and pay another flight for the next day.

Airlines changed my flight that doesn't work for me anymore. They say because it was a new flight, I can ask for full refund without any penalties. However Budgetair is asking for $70 extra and they refuse to cancel my flight. Total scam,
Answer: Yes it is that bad. Stay away, you never know if your booking will go through or not. They charge ridiculous service fees so if you dont have the correct type of card (mastercard, visa, debit, credit etc), they will charge you upwards of $20 minimum to make your booking.
Answer: I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam. Always cancel with your airline first to be safe like I did... Since early February Budget Air has yet to answer the phone or return my emails, AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
