Poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Bought a ticket online with them. Airline cancelled flights. Was eligible for full refund and they deducted $ 49.8 from refund claiming thats for non refundable 'air help plus'. Which was never signed up at the time of purchase. Will never ever visit their site as well as make sure to let people know at personal and social media to not purchase from them ever. Extremely poor customer service

Consumer Beware
May 15, 2023

Please do not use this platform. I broke my leg 6 days before our trip to Dubai. I was released from the hospital on the day we were to fly out. The surgery caused me to be put on 12 weeks bedrest as a rod was inserted through my knee and down through my tibia. Due to the nature of my injury, there was no way I could have made the trip. I am still in a wheelchair and unable to use my right leg.
They will not refund our fare or provide a credit.
This platform is a scam. Buyer beware.

SCAM AIRLINE WITH ZERO INTEGRITY
June 29, 2021

These guys changed my booking to a 17 hour layover. They pretended that my clicking on their email link was a legal agreement to those changes. They can not be trusted. They want to extort $350 to cancel now that they forced a schedule change that has me sleeping in JFK for 18 hours.

I really hope they do down and never recover.

My boyfriend works for the police in the country that this company is registered. I am going to report them for fraud. The more evidence we have the more efficiently will be investigated. If you are interested in helping me shut the company down then please respond to my posting and let me know where I can reach you so that I can get your email exchanges ( which if your experience is like mine are very one sided and that they never answer) and submit them for evidence along with mine.

Don't use their service

Terrible customer service and inflexibility in policies despite airline offering COVID exceptions. Hefty fees for changes and cancellations. Conflicting information shared between reps and delays in updates. Should have just bought directly with airline to save the hassle. Save yourself the trouble and do not trust this company.

NEVER book tickets through BudgetAir.com. It is a scam. It is set up to charge the maximum amount of money possible whether it'd be to change your flight because of an emergency or to gain additional information about flights. They will steal your money, many hidden charges ex: even exchange for a flight is not possible, there is no chance they will find a flight in the "same class", they will not accommodate to your needs and end up charging a higher fare difference. Again, please never ever book through them. Initial price may seem less but if a change is needed to be made, you are in it to lose it. I spoke to many representatives (Tom, Alex, etc), none able to help and very rude.

WORST EXPERIENCE
August 23, 2018

We booked this flight for 3 people and the card was charged with $1500+. We need this flight right away and it was cancelled. They told us that the refund will take 5-10 days! Now how can we book another flight? That is not a small amount of money! And customer service sucks, they don't reply to your email. We should have booked it directly from the airline. How do you compensate this? Will never recommend this site. Never again!

Their business practice is very unprofessional.

They do not provide what they claim. They just mess with people's time and money.
They canceled the booking after 24 hrs. For a last-minute trip, saying "The airline provided us incorrect availability for the price you selected," translating it to more than $200 higher price for me the same flight.
I could have booked directly with the airline one day earlier and not loose all the money.
They have damaged me so much and destroyed all my plans. This is not a trip for fun and I have limited funding resources, causing so much distress.

I booked a flight through Budget Air In June 2019, but had to cancel it one day later. After speaking to customer service agent I was assured I would receive my refund within 45 days. It has now been 8 months, and I have spend countless hours on hold with them inquiring about my refund. On the two occasions I have actually got through to an agent I was assured that they would fix the mistake and issue the refund immediately, and that I would receive it within 3 weeks. Still haven't received it. I do appreciate that your company is very busy due to the current global situation. However, I have been waiting over 8 months for this refund. My booking number is *******. I would appreciate if this issue was resolved today.

Flight cancelled by airlines, but BudgetAir did not process refund. I contacted airlines about refund, they sent an email asking me to contact BudgetAir to request refund from airlines. BudgetAir declined to grant refund. There is no customer service to contact as well. So once you purchase a ticket via budgetair, you are stuck and forget about any refunds.

I would be extremely wary of booking through this company. I booked via their website for a flight to Thailand. The booking appeared to go through and the money came off my debit card, however, no booking confirmation arrived. Calling Customer Service to try and get it sorted was very distressing, to say the least. Their staff are extremely rude, they hang up on you and their customer service number is not free. They admitted they could not find the booking and the only way I got my money back (£590) was to raise a dispute with my bank. I had read bad reviews before but I thought I'd risk it to save a bit of money. As it turns out by the time I had paid the telephone bill, I was actually worse off. Avoid if at all possible.

Appalling do not use

I booked 2 return flights in Chile with BudgetAir.com. One has been cancelled and BudgetAir.com have insisted that I have to claim a refund or voucher through the airline direct. When I contacted the airline (twice) they said BudgetAir.com had to make the request. 3 emails and 5 phone calls later, BudgetAir.com will not make a request. The airline did provided me with the contact details for their support centre to travel agents and I passed this on to BudgetAir.com, but there has been no progress. Appalling service. Right now I would never use them again.

When the ticket was cancelled... they say that i can use these credits anytime on any flight. Later on they change stance and say that these tickets can only be used for a dedicated route.
Also wont refund the amount and would ask to contact airlines to get the refund. Do not book through this site. Their support is the worst.

Do not use this website! This is the worse agent/website you can ever use for any bookings. They do not share with you all the details and keep on charge additional unjustified charges. They kept on taking small amount from my account and i didn't know why. Other then that, they made an error in my booking and refund to cancel it without having me pay additional "Service Charge". When i spoke to the customer service (which was a chargeable international call), they claimed that i was "lying" about my error and did nothing about my request. Worse customer service ever, and i would never recommend it to anyone.

Stay out, purchased tickets to Middle East before war happened in October 2023 after 2 weeks try to cancel answer was we don't care lost 1800$$ and those guys doesn't care, their excuse was the airport still open you still can go, they don't care about your money safety nothing

Absolute scum. This is the. co.uk version of this company. They make it impossible to get in touch with them to change your order as they have no phone number and they ignore emails. It took me 3 weeks to get a reply to my reservation query, the only problem was my flight was leaving within 2 weeks.

They don't care at all. Pure scum.

Worst customer service. Emirates cancelled my flight due to a document I never had was never asked if I wanted to change the date nothing I then inquire about a refund spoke to three different people all a different story. For a £337. Ticket they wanted to charge me £185 airport cancellation plus £55 administration fee couldn't help with booking another ticket for a different date and was told I would have to pay more money. Would certainly never recommend them.

Worst service ever

One of the worst service I ever had, customer service is sucks. Its long wait to talk to them. My call got disconnected 2 time after waiting 45 min. I told agent to call me back if we get disconnected again. He never called back.
This is total scam.
I will never recommend to book air ticket from this company.

I was told by email my refund for a International flight would take 15 business days and cost me $330.13. It has been 16 working days since my cancellation. I called Skyscanner who informed me over the phone, contradicting their email, that my refund could take over a month. Over $1200.
