Do not use Fishing Booker! I booked in May for a halibut trip in August in Homer, AK. Flew to Anchorage, and drove 4-hours to Homer in a rental car. Stayed in a hotel. Got up early and had my wife drive me to the dock. The directions to find the boat in the Fishing Booker app did not include dock or slip number, but showed a map location. I went there. No boat. Looked for the charter boat company on google and went to location on map. No boat. Texted and called captain repeatedly. No response. Called Fishing Booker's help line. No answer. The boat was supposed to leave at 7am. At 8:09am I received a message that the trip was cancelled. Got a call from the captain saying he let Fishing Booker know several days prior that the trip was cancelled. Not message of cancellation was sent to me before the trip. In fact I received a reminder confirmation text the evening before. Do not use Fishing Booker. Book through the charter companies directly. Cut out the middle man and save yourself a huge headache and expense.

My trip was a gift that had to be postponed due to a family emergency. It took 15 days for them return my many calls. Then I was passed around with no one willing to reschedule us. We lost time and money! Beware 😠.

After reviewing our records, we did not receive any prior communication before March 11th regarding the need to reschedule, which is the date when the trip was scheduled. Since trip management is ultimately in the hands of both the customer and the captain, any changes need to be communicated promptly. In this case, the captain, following his cancellation policy, was unable to accommodate a reschedule due to the short notice, as the reserved time slot could not be rebooked.
Additionally, our support team reached out and requested medical documentation in an effort to advocate on your behalf. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. We were also in contact with the person who booked the trip, your son, who was very understanding of the situation.
While I regret any inconvenience, our team remains dedicated to assisting you as best as we can. If there’s anything further we can do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.

I have chartered boats via FishingBooker a number of times over a span of several years. I am very satisfied with the service. Good quality boats, knowleadgeable captains, easy to locate and communicate with. You get what you booked, no surprises. And if there are surprises, such as adverse weather, the captain will call you and try to find an alternative time. A highly recommendable service.

Alejandro and his crew gave us our best fishing experience yet! They were great from the start! Booking our excursion, communication up to our fishing trip and beyond! They worked hard so our family could catch a lot fish! If that wasn't good enough, they also cleaned our entire catch so we could have dinner…enough for two dinners! We Fished with Captain David El Hage out of Jan Thiel, Curacao For a 6 hour Charter with 4 of my friends. David should remember Arie for a while as Arie is almost 7 feet tall and from the Netherlands so they had quite a bit to talk about. Everyone hooked up at least and we did manage to bring in a few Tuna and a Wahoo, it was an outstanding trip and Crew. The highlight of our stay in Curacao.
We had the chance to go to Puerto Vallarta for a destination wedding. With some extra days of stay we wanted to book a short charter to get our sons on some fish. Fishing Booker made it very easy transaction was smooth and no surprises Captain had great communication via the app. We got on some Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, and a couple Rooster fish it was an awesome time and shared fishing stories with the Captain and Deckhand. The Super Panga was A++++ quality.
