I rented a car from BudgetAir through Car Trawler for $189 but never received the car or a refund. I arrived at the airport at 3 am and found no one there to assist me. Despite following all instructions and attempting to contact the car rental desk using the provided number, I received no response. After a 2.5-hour wait and a 22-hour flight, I had to take a taxi to my hotel. When I reached out to them a few days later, they requested my flight ticket information, which I provided. However, they refused to issue a refund, claiming I didn't show up. I insisted that I was there and followed all instructions but got no response. I filed a bank claim, but they repeated the same story to my bank, making it harder to get my money back. It's been two months of trying to resolve this with no resolution in sight. I advise against using this service - they partner with frauds, and by using this services you risk to loose a lot ore than you save.

I was flying to Vienna from Los Angeles via Toronto and I only made it to Toronto. Stuck at the airport. Apparently my reserved flight was cancelled. Budget air just removed the second leg of the flight from their online portal without ever notifying me.

No customer service.

I used BudgetAir a few tines and will probably use them again, if needed. They are basic and almost no frills but sometimes can find combinations and prices that are better than on other sites. They also give a coupon that can be used for the next booking which is nice.
As for the customer support, it's not the best and the only time I needed to resolve an issue, it took me 3 days. But, I guess, that's how they make the prices cheap.
All in all, the price-to-value ratio is good.

I booked my ticket and then with horror came across all of these reviews. For those who are now panicking about your purchase, I'm here to tell you that sometimes everything works out just fine without any hiccups :)

Bought a ticket on June 8 2020. The flight was cancelled by budgetair and never got refunded. It is impossible to get to someone that can actually resolve your issue with them. Just plain robbery. I was hoping to get a replacement flight down the road with them and too much time went by so my credit card company was not able to step in and help me for the refund.so total loss for me. DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR!

The took 350 pounds plus off me for flights in India with jet airways who I have since discovered were trading while insolvent. Budget air made no attempt to recover my money nor to ensure that the tickets they were issuing were going to be valid.
Their customer support is useless, their web support non existent and yet Skyscanner and Kayak etc still include them on their platforms, how many of us have to get ripped off by these thieves before the travel industry cleans up its act?

Don't book with them. It is an absolute nightmare. They are impossible to contact. I am still trying to get money out of them for a refund from almost 2 years ago. Save yourself the drama and use someone that you can contact.

Never use Momondo or BudgetAir for your booking! They can forward your search to any third-party booking sites like BudgetAir.CA and get poor end-user support and higher price. On my recent booking, the cost went up over 300 CAD from the invoice amount due to Budget Air used USD for the conversion. There was no indication of the exchange rate or using the non-Canadian site for booking during the payment; you won't come to know until you see the bank statement! I heard similar stories from several frustrated friends! I contacted BudgetAir.CA, but their customer care executives were rude and offered no support and challenged me to cancel the booking with a fee of $70 per person. Think twice before you book next time. As there are several such hidden costs compared to direct booking with any airline, and the booking vendor like BudgetAir never takes any responsibility for additional fees. I hope It helps.

This people collected money when flight is cancelled 9 months back still they are telling we didn't received your refund and reply same emails. Finally I contacted airlines they said we already refunded. When ask this question budgetair after that no response for mails. This people don't have customer care number also. Cheating customers and collecting money be careful. Don't prefer at all if you want face issues and mental torture go with this budgetair.

Pls don't waste your money on BudgetAir. Other sites are much cheaper and you have a 24 hr changes with paying the $200 (admin. Plus airline they claims). Use other site that is much cheaper than this one.

My friend got tickets through this website. Due to horrible accident we had to postpone the trip (he is in the hospital and it will take months, possibly over a year for his even be able to move).
First of all, no one answers their phone, no one responds to emails, finally after 2 weeks trying to contact them I got a response on their FB.
I have provided all necessary medical documentation, and was told that response will be given back after 7 working days.
It's been over two weeks - i am still waiting for some sort of official letter.
I have been dealing with this since beginning of June!

Booked and paid for QA ticket from Johannesburg to Prague, did not receive any confirmation despite the full amount being debited and 5 hours later I received an email saying that an additional payment of approximately USD 400 (half of the original price!) is necessary to secure the flight! Obviously I opted for a refund which takes 10 days not to mention that within the 5 hours all the suitable flights were gone and I had to reschedule my travels completely! Furthermore, I tried to reach their customer line with absolutely no luck! What a joke of a company!

I have sent numerous emails since mid-March regarding the issue below. I have not received a single response of substance to date.

BudgetAir clearly doesn't care about assisting with this issue or even having the common decency to acknowledge it. I haven't been able to make any progress on this with you since March!

We initiated this process before any of our flights and after Westjet announced that they would loosen their refund/cancellation policy. Yet BudgetAir has ignored all my requests to date. I also initiated a cancellation quote request online on the BudgetAir website in regards to our return flight - this was not finalized or resolved.

Booked my flight says it confirmed only to receive an email the next day saying they have cancelled my booking. Now they won't refund my money for the next 10 business days. Like wth. At least give the fkn money back so i can book else where. Its a scam don't ever book on this. Avoid using skyscanner too because they promote this airline company on their platform.
