I ordered a desk from Wayfair on Sept. 5th and got 2 day shipping because it was needed right away. The desk arrived on Sept. 10th with 2 broken pieces. I notified Wayfair and was told I would be sent replacement parts. The next day I got an email saying it would take just under a month for my replacement parts to arrive. After many failed emails trying to have the shipment moved up I finally gave up and just waited the month for them to arrive. 3 days after the parts were to have been shipped I sent them yet another email asking if they were sent, because I never received the tracking info. The next day they emailed me saying the parts were on backorder until the middle of Feb. Which is almost 6 months since I first placed this order. I ended up canceling my order after waiting an entire month thinking that replacement parts were being sent.
This desk is still for sale on the Wayfair website with a backorder date of Nov. 11 it makes no sense to me that people can order this desk and have it by Nov.
But when I receive a broken desk I can't get replacement parts until Feb. I will never purchase anything from this website again
I had purchased a Serta sleeper couch a few days ago. I was taken to the hospital for a neck emergency procedure and needed to cancel the order/ I tried that later afternoon and was told to call back the next day to request the couch be re routed back to warehouse. That it had shipped but could be turned around. Nowhere on the item on the website does it ever mention charging a customer 140.00 out of a 1000 item for shipping or returning. I never even received the item. It was stopped before it ever reached the middle destination for contacting me to schedule a time to deliver it. Supervisors would not waive the fee as a courtesy die to my circumstances and even the employees on recorded calls at a lower level said I should have been credited back the full amount. They stopped the shipment of the item before I had the chance to fight the 140.00 shipping return charge that was never disclosed on the website. It talks vaguely about 35.00 fee for smaller items and only says we may charge larger fees for larger items/ either way, I then disputed this issue and my bank told me to try to resolve this and I have written five emails to executive management and the resolution team. None at that level have responded and I continue to get emails from virtual employees with robotic answers accusing me of not returning this within 30 days when it was 24 hours. I have never ever been treated this poorly by any company. Costco and Sams never charge for returns and I thought wayfair would be the same especially on a medical emergency with documentation form my hospital. They took 140.00 off my returned amount and I want my money back.
Absolutely horrible. I ordered a shed on october 2,2019. The shed said it shipped on october 9th and I would receive it october 16th. Well it is november 6th and the shed is still in the warehouse. I contacted customer service and was told that I was more or less forgot about but the shed is moving in my direction. I guess the shipping is free and you get it when you get it. I should have seen the writing on the wall when I decided to purchase the shed it was no longer on sale, even though it showed it was hours prior. So I continued with the purchase anyways. After I purchased the shed the price dropped back down. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. After not receiving the shed on the first delivery date I contacted customer service and was told they could take give me a refund and only charge me the sale price... so they could actually do something about it and lied to me before. I should have, and I recommend, just buying sheds from home depot or Lowe's or anywhere else. It may cost a couple dollars more but at least you'll have a shed. Meanwhile I'll have to wait who knows how long. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas and have to assemble it in the snow!
This company is a complete scam, I ordered $3000. 00 worth of furniture on here and checked all of the correct options for it to be delivered into my house/location and following all instructions on how far they can deliver with all the extra fees. I wait 20+ days to get a Sectional SET (That came with no Chair just sectional which I paid for chair also) and when they get here to deliver it I was told it is an extra $85.00 to delivery it up the stairs, I am on the 3rd floor and they said they are limited to the 2nd. Understand, but was never brought up when I made the purchase... the color of the products are off whenever you order something don't expect it to be picture perfect or even close... there are dents, dings and chips missing out of the furniture and on the Gaming chair I ordered I did not get instruction manual. Crystal C kept me on the phone (CS Rep) for 30 minutes to let me know that she can deduct the $85.00 fee to $40.00 after she talked to the shipping agent? So why was that originally not offered in the first place. I tried to just cancel my other item being delivered tomorrow (Computer Desk) cost $275.00 they told me they could only refund $140.00 and that shipping was $135.00 for the desk if I canceled and I would be at loss. This company is a bait and switch scam, BEWARE don't invest a penny. Crystal C for their mistakes she also told me the Sectional was not a SET with a chair when it certainly was so Wayfair is false advertising as well.

I ordered a sectional couch from wayfair and have been waiting since May 26th. I was told I would be able to set my delivery appointment however I never spoke to anyone the appointment was set by forward final mile via my voice mail. I tried calling however no answer after listening to their horrible music for over an hour. My delivery date was set for June 21st 7am to 7pm via voice mail. I waited til 3:30 before my gut said to call to and find out if my sectional is really out for delivery. No answer. I called wayfair and they attempted to call No answer. Wayfair then said well let's give them til 7pm so i did. Wayfair should also be rated with less than a star because they are utilizing a irresponsible carrier and actually consider forward final mile a partner. I ask wayfair why would they use a carrier with BBB rating of F and they response was we never had an issue with this carrier. Well now they do. I will be requesting a refund and compensation for the wasted day. I know wayfair must be aware of the anxiety their customers have when spending such a large expense on furniture which doesn't arrive. Both wayfair and forward final mile deserves the F rating the have. My whole experience of ordering furniture online has now been ruined and my trust with wayfair has been revoked. I sincerely wish their was more I could do in addition to writing this review as I feel unsatisfied customers are still coming here to this text box to leave a complaint after me.
Ordered a 9 drawer dresser for my master bedroom. Delivery date was set with a 12-4pm window and a guaranteed call 30 minutes before delivery. At 3:45pm I had not heard from anyone so I called. I was on hold waiting for a rep for 20+ minutes. They tell me they cannot locate the driver nor can they reach him by phone. At 5:35pm they ring my doorbell but are parked in my neighbors driveway. Mind you I live on a private street with significant distance between houses so I gave specific driving instructions which they failed to follow. The box has a hole in it so I open the box and sure enough there is huge hole in the back of the dresser, so I refuse the delivery. They lug the dresser back to the neighbors driveway and on the truck but then can't leave because the truck has broken down. I made multiple phone calls and customer service tells me they can't do anything because the delivery warehouse is now closed. The driver made several phone calls but would not give me his supervisors name or number. After being stranded for 3 hours they claim to have someone on the way to fix and/or move the truck. It's currently 9:24pm, their employees have been stuck for 4 hours and they are still sitting in my neighbors driveway blocking them in, unable to get out. This was my 1st and last order... I'm more upset with how they've treated their employees. Or should I say, how they've abandoned their employees.
Wayfair is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I would never ever suggest anyone use them. I had a horrible experience with ordering a coffee table that was delivered cracked in half and it took MONTHS to resolve. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried ordering a bed from them, BIGGEST NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE. I ordered it in July it took a month and half to come and it was damaged, they didn't have any replacements so they said they would send a whole new bed in another month and a half. On the dellivery day they never showed so I called and apparently they can't find my bed in their warehouse. They didn't call to let me know I had to call them and they weren't helpful at all. So three months later I still don't have a bed and no idea if I will ever get one. Their costumer service is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. DO NOT ORDER FROM WAYFAIR.
Ordered a queen sized bed and paid the extra $100 or so for set up.
Added a PLASTIC storage bench for the pool area.
The professional sent from Angi for Wayfair shows up and starts to snap together the bench? I told him, no, the bed is in the other room. The bench he started on shows the box with NO TOOLS REQUIRED to assemble. I pointed that out and said, you wouldnt need to put that togther.
I call Wayfair and say, who would EVER purchase assemlbly for $100 on something like that? They kept telling me to read my confirmation emails. I explained to them the emails have no information on them and I couldn't open without creating and account by logging into Angi, no Thanks. Then they told me to call Angi who immediately went hard sale for me to PURCHASE the set up for the bed (which I swear I had done initially but cannot prove).
I am out $100. But its how this all happened that really irks me.

I was interested in a bathroom vanity and inquired about using a coupon for the purchase since it is quite an expensive item. The phone rep told me I can get a discount if I speak with a quote specialist. I needed this vanity quickly and asked if the specialist, Mindy, can call me back the same day. She did not call me back that day. The next day I still had not heard from her by 3:30 pm, so I called back. The rep told me Mindy would call me back as soon as she gets off the phone. No call back. At 5pm, I called the 3rd time and she finally answered. Mindy was non-apologetic about not calling back, and said coldly she cannot provide any discount at all. It was a complete waste of my time calling and waiting to speak to her, when I could've purchased the vanity for the same price from at least 5 other online retailers. I had good experience with Wayfair on previous purchases and was very disappointed by the uncaring attitude from this quote specialist. I was so frustrated I purchased the vanity from another retailer instead.
I ordered a bed frame almost four weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive almost two weeks after ordered, however the tracking shows that the item was still on the other side of the country as of the delivery date and had been there for over a week. I contacted customer service to find out where my package is and when I can expect delivery. They said they had to contact the frieght company and would get back to me in a day or two. Two days later I got an email stating that my updated delivery date was scheduled for a week later. No explaination for the delay and not apology for the situation.
As promised I recieved an email with a 4 hour time window for delivery the day before the delivery was scheduled. The email promised that the delivery team would call a half hour before they arrived. They never called and my package did not arrive on the updated delivery date. I was not able to reach the delivery company to find out what was going on. The next day I got an email from the leasing office in my building stating that I had recieved several packages and they needed to access my apartment to drop them off. So my bed had been delivered a day late, with no 1/2 hour courtesy call.
The kicker is that this delivery was FIVE seperate boxes. At no point in the ordering process was I informed that my delivery would arrive in so many seperate packages. I'm not pleased. Wayfair needs to get the delivery system together. I would gladly pay for better, more reliable delivery then have free unprofessional, unreliable delivery.
They have great looking items but Wayfair SUCKS! EVERYTIME I have ordered something from there, I get an estimated delivery date and I never get it by that time. WHY ADVERTISE A DATE WHEN IT WON'T SHOW UP BY THAT TIME! Also, they don't update anything on their "self service portal." All the items say preparing to ship and then you get nothing. You don't get any updates on tracking or even a hey, its been delayed. You have to contact their customer service and they give you all the info. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for something that was supposed to be delivered 3-4 days after I ordered it. Customer Service told me its, already been in a shipped status (portal says preparing for shipping) and that they cannot cancel my item. I've asked where the package was and for some tracking information, rep tells me that the last update for FedEx is that the label was created 2 weeks ago and yet they still can't cancel my order. These Reps are F**king stupid and have no common sense. If its been 2 weeks and status hasn't updated, they never shipped the damn item! Wayfair is so aggravating and this is the last time I will order anything from this garbage website!
I attempted to Order my daughters bunkbeds for the birthday. Three weeks and 7 calls later they decided to tell me that the bunkbeds were lost in transit and nobody knows where theyre at and they are sold out of that bed. I obviously canceled that order, 3 days later I get a call saying that they are going to return my money minus percent restocking fee. Wtf, how can they restock something that is lost. They refused to return all my money so I had to call my credit card company to take care of it. Unfortunately I decided to look up reviews on this so called store and not much to my surprise I see thousands of people that gave them 1 star but if you look on their site, they have thousands of people saying 5 stars. How long does it take to write your own reviews to cover yourself? I cant believe this place. Im tired of azzholes doing stuff like this. I have contacted a lawyer on this matter and he will be taking over. If you want to get in on this lawsuit, feel free to write me about how you got screwed over by thieves like this. My niece and my step father are both lawyers so money wont matter. See you in court.
I could make this a very long detailed review but I won't. Tried buying a simple electric blanket as pictured on their website. 1st one had the wrong controllers and you couldn't see the display. Called and sent photo's so they could talk to the warehouse. 2nd blanket came and again was wrong. I was told they were sending the wrong part number. They opened up a report and assigned a case manager. They ordered the 3rd blanket and again it was wrong. So I had 3 wrong blankets all the same. We are not in the 7th week of this and winter is almost over. Finally got an email from the case manager after being assigned 3 weeks ago. I had asked for a phone call but I guess email is easier.
I had to initiate every phone call and in the 7 weeks never received any communication starting with them to fix the problem. What a waste of my time. I received 50% discount and keeping 2 blankets but still not happy. I have 2 blankets of which you cannot read the display. Very poor follow up and communication. No one took control of the problem to solve it. I will never shop there again.
I ordered a mirror on January 9th. It was to be delivered freight by January 28th. On February 31st I called because I didn't receive it. They blamed it on the weather and said I would have it by February 3rd. Well again no mirror so I called AGAIN. This time they got back to me and said it would be here by February 13th. Surprise, surprise, no mirror! Called again only to have them tell me it was lost and they could order me a new one which would arrive March 15th. Keep in mind I did not get an apology and they kept telling me that this was not typical. After 6 weeks, I canceled my order. I placed an order for the same mirror with another company and will have it in one week! DONT ORDER FROM WAYFAIR. They are terrible!
Aside from the child s3x tr4ff1ck1ng this company is known for they also scam you on their credit cards. I have been paying my balance down for months now and as soon as I set extra money off to the side to do so, so I can raise my credit score, this company CLOSES my card WITHOUT my permission OR notifying me. I guess thats what u get for giving my business to this P1ZZA GAT3 of a company. And if you don't believe me, look into it yourself. This company is a SCAM. And while I'm being honest, the quality of their inventory is not great either. Expect missing pieces in ANYTHING you purchase and misleading photos to make you buy their SH1T. I cannot wait to see this company fail. But Wayfair, thanks for taking the trash out for me (you are the trash incase you missed that).
I call the customer service about my bill after I payed my bill in full Bcuz I do not Went to pay interest on it But still I resaved bill tall me I have to pay the interest, I will Never buy anything from them they are Greedy for the extra money, maybe they will do you like me do not buy anything from them.
This review is solely based off Wayfair's assembly service Servicepro. My cabinet was delivered on time and in full tact. I was scheduled to have Servicepro assemble it on Easter Sunday which i found odd that they were working. The guy was supposed to arrive at 2pm. At 2:30 he texted me saying he was obnoxiously late and that he could be there at 4:30pm, which was not convenient for me as i had waited all day for his arrival. I contacted Wayfair and spoke with a manager who did reimburse me the $100 assembly fee. Servicepro rescheduled my assembly for another day and gave me the SAME guy! Not kidding. I immediately called back and demanded a different person and they told me no one was available till Wednesday. Fast forward to Wednesday. The guy showed up on time which was appreciated. He assembled the cabinet in about 35 minutes and was about to leave... There were nails and styrofoam all over the floor and not to mention the huge box it came in! I said aren't you going to clean this up? (I did pay a $100 mind you, no i did not say that to him) He seemed annoyed but did clean up with my help. Once he left, I noticed that the shelf had not been assembled so i immediately called him back. Once he left again, I picked up the cabinet and one of the legs was not assembled! He had to come back again and said to me, did you slide it? Of course that is irrelevant as the leg was not screwed in properly, but i actually picked it up. Beyond annoyed! Servicepro is a part of Wayfair though they use independent contractors.
I ordered something from Wayfair last Sunday. Two hours later I called to cancel because I found the item for much less in a store. I was told that the cancellation was "pending" because the warehouse was closed and wouldn't get the message until Monday morning. When I called back Monday morning I was told the item was already wrapped on ready for pick-up and could not be cancelled. Apparently the warehouse uses a different system and isn't required to check for cancellations before they start loading, so although my item was not on the FedEx truck yet, it was too much work to pull it off the pallet. Anyway, I was then told they would try to reroute it with FedEx. When that didn't happen - and it was delivered to my home - I called to return it and was told I would have to pay the full return shipping amount as well as the original shipping amount because "you did order it." In addition, they sent me a return label for UPS and I had to take it to a drop off location. After some complaining I was told in an email that I still have that they would pay for half of the shipping and would refund me $26 (the item with original shipping was $35). So what do they send to my bank? $19! It know it's not a huge amount of money, but if they had told me when I called that it couldn't be cancelled, I would not have purchased the item in the store and in the end would have paid less. Very bad business practice.
