Cant get any help

I recently purchase a livingroom set and coffee table and end tables my end tables were damaged so they were sending me to replacement and I have not received them yet was suppose to be here on may 8 I can not get ahold of anyone so I have to pay for damage merchandise I'm also not happy with the quality of my purchase it is cheap made for the amount of money I'm paying want be ordering anything else if I could I would send it all back but you can't get ahold of anyone

Customer service is great

I havent had delivery problems and the damaged chair I bought was quickly refunded as was another item I purchased. The customer service reps were eager to help, offering replacements or refunds.

However, beware of buying furniture that requires assembly. My experience has been that the directions can be unclear, parts are often very heavy, labeled poorly, if at all, and do not always fit easily together.

I think the problem is with the vendors Wayfair uses, all of whom seem to have different quality of product and delivery and customer service policies. But Wayfairs customer service, for me, has been responsive and prompt. Not sure that makes up for the uncertainty of whether or not youre going to get something you really like or the hassle of replacement or refund though.

Still, it really is true that you get what you pay for so if you want to be sure youll like something, go where you can see/touch the item youre buying. And if youre not handy or dont want the hassle, pay for the manufacturer to assemble your product or buy from a more expensive store that has assembly built into the price in the first place!

I ordered a papasan chair that arrived with a saw cut through one of the wood frame pieces. I write support and received 2 nice responses saying they'd rectify the situation with a replacement part, a full replacement of the unit or a full refund. Instead what I got was a 10% discount coupon that had to be used within 2 months. Don't know what happened to the support team but they really let me down completely. I won't be buying from Wayfair again--and I like their stuff... but forget it!

WayFair is by far the worst at customer service. I placed an order for 2 office chairs on May 15th. I have yet to receive my items. They sent me an email on June 9th, that my order was estimated to be delivered on June 15th. Today is June15th, I have not received any confirmation of my items were shipped. I paid $703 for my items. I placed a phone call on June 15th at approximately 3:15pm. The representative picked up my call 1hour 45mins with no explanation as to why we have not received our items. I ordered the last 2 chairs at the time of the order. WayFair is now saying that our order is due to be shipped June 18th. This is poor customer service. I do not recommend anyone to order from WayFair.

Crap company

I thought at first they were pretty great I was expected to get my bed on March 3rd so I waited and waited and it never came. Called the company nice customer service and they said "we'll contact the warehouse in the morning" ok fine it's closed I get that. This morning came again I waited and waited and finally called and NOPE the warehouse is closed ALL $#*!ING WEEKEND. So that means according to customer service no one knows where my bed is, what has happen to it, if it has even been pulled or put on the truck. Basically it is lost and if it is well then they'll take another 3 days out of there precious $#*! time and pull another bed and send it to me... WTF! By the time I actually get my bed or even find out if they have it or don't I WILL BE WITH THE MILITARY in a $#*!ty $#*! bunk... thanks wayfair you guys SUCK.

Horrible customer service

Ordered a recliner on 1/4/22 that was showing in stock, and continued to show in stock for at least a week after order was placed. Paid via PayPal. Initially was due to be delivered 1/11. Then on 1/14 I get an email saying 1/17.1/17 get an email that said 1/24. On 1/25 I emailed to inquire and was told 1/31. On 1/29 I checked the app and it was now showing 2/8. At that point I also went to the items page and saw it's out of stock until April, but was in stock when I bought it on 1/4, so I reached out to inquire again. Was told it was being escalated to another team and if I didn't hear back by 2/3 to reach out. Didn't hear back so I reached out and was told that it would be shipped by 2/5 delivered by 2/8... now after all these other shipping changes I wanted them to confirm they guarantee this, so I replied back to clarify if they were ensuring me that my order would be shipped 2/5. Was told they needed to send to the warehouse and to give th 2 days to get back to me. Then today 2/4 I get an email saying they have no idea when my item will be in stock to ship. They told me I can wait or cancel, so I am waiting on them to "approve" my cancelation. I hope they decline it so I can sic PayPal on them, I have all the email proof!

I ordered two rugs, on sale from Wayfair on Monday, online. The order didn't show up as complete after the first try, and I recieved no confirmation #, and my cart showed up as still having 2 items in it. I Complete the purchase process again, it works, I get a confirmation number. Then I check my online checking account, it shows as two charges; pending. I immediately call Waynotfairs customer disservice number, the girl assures me the extra charge should drop, by the end of the business day, if not, then definitely within 48 hours. Sure, right, ok. I wait over 60 hours for the one charge to drop, and the other to clear. Nope, still pending, perpetually. So I call again, this customer disservice lady tells me it is showing as only one charge on her end, and that, wow, my items actually shipped the other day, seperately even though they sent me no tracking numbers. She sends me a 10% online coupon to my email, for my next purchase, to try and placate me. So I can get 10% off my next double charged purchase? Is that their idea of a DEAL?! Keep in mind, this is the first, and definitely the last time I will ever order from Waynotfair. So again, she assures me, they only took the one charge from my checking account, and that once everything is done pending, the duplicate charge will be dropped. Guess what? It didn't, I checked my account online, this morning, both charges cleared, which means they made out like bandits, on my so called "sale" items. Thanks, you thieves. Hope you enjoy spending my money.

Returns are Costly!

Frustrating

I save their coupon every month and finally decided to order but placed my order over the weekend from a friend's home and unfortunately my coupon was at home. They refused to honor my coupon or any coupon because I didn't have it with me. Customer service advised me to order immediately because stock was low and to call back today with the code when I got home. When we returned home last night I called at 7:30 pm and they closed at 7:00 which seems very early for an online customer service. My rug was still in stock even though they told me it was going to sell out. Then they sent my order out at 10:30 pm last night after they closed so when I called back this morning they said it would cost $30 to cancel the original order and apply my coupon for 10% off so it wasn't worth it. Apparently they don't care about repeat business because I won't order from them again. Had I known it will cost $30 if the rug doesn't fit I would never had ordered from them. As we recover from covid and other businesses support safely shopping online be careful with this company. Even Bath and Body Works has started adding some free shipping and return days which they never did precovid. It's not the fault of the people that try to help you when you call. Wayfair has terrible and inflexible return policies and they are apparently not in this with all of us together. Shame on them during such a difficult time for all of us. The entire ordering experience felt like trying to get up an escalator that was going down. So frustrating.

Be very careful

My wife ordered a Patio set
They sent multiple sets we sold 1 and decided to pay for both
Now she ordered a hammac for my birthday
They keep sending stuff we didn't order
They sent a 200# swing, a lamp and a chair and won't take these items back
We decided to would rather file bankruptcy then pay for the items we didn't order

I placed an order on July 9,2020 for a crib set and mattress. The crib set was to include a crib and dresser. Received the crib and mattress within a week. July 29, I called to see why I haven't received the dresser. I was told that it was ticketed but never left the warehouse. The representative said she was going to reissue another ticket and give me a 10% coupon(WOW!). I then received an email on July 29, that said it would be September 18th before I would receive the dresser. I called Wayfair and they said that they had to order another one from the manufacture and that there was nothing they could do about it(this came from management) I asked for them to make this right by giving some type of credit and once again I was told they could only give 10% off next purchase. By the way, I still haven't received a code/coupon from the first 10% off I was told I could have. I grew up in a time where customer service was very important and was the backbone to businesses surviving. I guess now customer service has gone out the window and these large companies could care less about doing what is right and keeping their customer base. I can tell you that I will NEVER shop at Wayfair again. There are too many local companies that need my business, may cost more but at least I will get good customer service!

Merchandise was scheduled to deliver on 03/27/23. I realized on 5/7/23 through my contractor that one of the boxes was missing. I called customer service at Wayfair and they confirmed that a shipment was canceled during transit due to it being damaged. Wayfair has my contact info and no one ever notified me to reschedule a new delivery date. Rather than offering me an overnight shipment of my missing purchase, they wanted me to wait another week. I spoke with the supervisor, who promised to look into it and call me back the next day; she never called me. I called them back 3 days after to follow up and they went ahead and shipped it out on 05/9/23, and now I have to wait as I was told that it is "expected" to deliver between 13-15.
The new supervisor I spoke with was rude. He read false notes on their notepad and told me the package never arrived due to backorder when I was told it was due to damaged goods during transit. I him that was not true and told me I called him a "liar". I love how this supervisor spin the entire case and made him the victim. I guess if I don't agree with him, I am calling him a "liar"? This "supervisor" was absolutely unprofessional. The corporate team should pull the call recording and use my three calls to educate and improve their employees on customer service. To allow someone like this supervisor to speak over me and tried to accuse me of doing something I did not do is not the right person to have hired for his role. Their service has really changed over the years.

This was the first time I used Wayfair. I was buying a patio set. I called them for the order because I needed it as soon as possible and needed to confirm it was available could ship soon. I was told for this particular set it would be about a month. A month came and went with nothing. So I checked the order and now it said shipping estimated like two months later now. I called in again and said I need to cancel because I can't wait all summer for this. Employee they would have to check if it's shipped or not, they can't cancel if it's already shipped. So the next day lo and behold! It suddenly miraculously shipped. So then about a week or more later, part of the order arrived. Not the full patio set, but part of it. So then I had to call in again and find out what is going on. So they ordered a replacement for the item that never arrived. Now that was supposed to ship last week, but of course, nothing. Now it has been two months since my original order. Now I have to chase them down AGAIN and find out where this item is. It's months past when I originally needed the set. And they wouldn't let me cancel, so they could keep the order. NOT HAPPY. Will probably not use Wayfair ever again. Too unreliable in terms of fulfillment times from suppliers. I felt hustled that I couldn't cancel my order when it was not fulfilled as promised. Now I'm still waiting for the patio set. Not happy.

Worst service ever

I ordered a sofa and waited for 2 months and then I got a mail it was backordered. I can not cancel the order and I should wait for another month.
I don't recommend wayfair. Go to other store.

Sleazy company

I've ordered a number of items through Wayfair. My most recent order was for a storage shed which they indicated wouldn't ship for 5-6 weeks. After consideration, I cancelled the order and ordered the same storage shed from Walmart. Although they were supposed to confirm my cancellation within 1 business day, 3 business days later I received notification that not only had my order NOT been cancelled, but that the unit had miraculously shipped, and was on its way to my door. This after contacting customer service and being told that they couldn't reach the warehouse where the unit was to ship next month, but not to worry as they should honor the cancellation since it wouldn't have shipped for weeks. Apparently they want the sale more than the cancellation, so disregarded my request in order to make a buck. Now I have two sheds enroute and will have to hassle with dealing with the Wayfair clowns and returning this one. I'll never do business with them again. Recommend you check their reviews before using them as a supplier. They have crappy reviews for a lot of reasons. My complaint is in dealing with a company that just wants my money, will make me wait for weeks for a delivery, then ignore my cancellation and rush something out to get a buck. Screw Wayfair! Done!

So disappointed

This was my first (and last) time purchasing from Wayfair. I bought the Veda tv stand/bookshelf bundle. I paid extra to have my items professionally assembled. The tv stand arrived a week ago. The 2 bookshelves arrived 3 days later. The assembly appointment was scheduled for yesterday at 1 pm. At 1 pm, I started looking out the front window to keep an eye out for "the pro." 1:15 passed - still no pro. At 1:29, I checked the Handy app and there was a note that the pro "is all done." I reached out to the pro and asked why the app said he was all done when he never showed up. Half an hour later, while chatting online with customer service, I get a message back saying that he "showed up and knocked on the door but nobody answered. Called you from the driveway, no answer. Sent text messages from the driveway, no answer. Notified customer service and left, per instruction." I advised the pro AND customer service that nobody approached my door and I never received any text messages or phone calls. Customer service offered to reschedule the appointment but I would have to wait another 48 hours at least. I requested that they cancel the booking as I didn't feel that I should have to wait another 48+ hours when I wasn't at fault. The agent canceled the booking per my request.

Waste of Time

I ordered a desk from Wayfair on March 31st. I waited patiently for the desk as I knew it was a large shipment. I started to inquire about the desk's arrival towards the end of April. I was told there were some hold-ups and the desk would be at a local delivery partner soon. On MAY 4th the desk finally was delivered, I waited until I had the proper tools and help to put it together a day or two later. When I opened the large package in my living room it was A BAR! Completely different product. I called Wayfair and they told me that the order must have gotten mixed up with someone else on the truck. It is now MAY 23rd, I had to reach out to them today because the bar is still sitting in my living room. I was only refunded the money for my desk (not told when or how I could get it), then told to put the bar outside (I told them it was taking too much space in my house). Almost two months, a large package with a bar that isn't mine sitting outside my back door and NO DESK! Thanks for the time wasted Wayfair!
