I ordered a trundle bed from Wayfair for an elderly relative that needed to move into assisted living. I had to have the bed by July 1,2021, her move in date. I ordered the bed on June 9,2021 and was given a delivery date of June 24,2021. The next day I was given a new deliver date of July 14-23rd. This was not acceptable, so I cancelled the order immediately. Wayfair sent an email saying the order was cancelled on June 10th and then on June 11th reneged and said my order could NOT be cancelled. I wrote Wayfair's customer service, and was told,
"I see that the warehouse was unable to confirm your cancellation request due to the order being too far in their shipping process. The order will ship out as estimated. You can request an address change through your My Account if you need it delivered somewhere else. Or, if you cannot longer accept the item, you will be able to set up a free return as the cancellation was denied."
First, there is absolutely no way this item could have already been shipped, since Wayfair had just admitted they could not be delivered in time for my relative to move into assisted living. Furthermore, they did not give me a free return as promised in their email. They charged me $93.94 to return the item. So… buyer beware! I will never do business with Wayfair again, and neither should anyone else.
I purchased a recliner for $199 which they had advertised. After 3 days they cancelled the order say they miss priced it.

I've bought many articles on Wayfair and every time, they sent me an email saying it would be belated because of manufacturing issues. Great prices but poor customer service
I would not purchase from here at all. They charge too much for very cheap furniture that will break within 1 month. Consider Rooms to go or another reputable business.
I ordered a Hydro Flask thru Kayla on 10/15 for my daughter's B-Day, got a confirmation code, and was told It would arrive by 10/29. After receiving NO email confirmation, tracking number, or any correspondence from them, I call today, 10/29, and spoke to Amanda about its status, only to be told that Wayfair canceled the order on 10/18 because they couldn't get the product and DIDN'T BOTHER TO LET ME KNOW (she of course claimed they sent an email but they never did - thereby compounding the problem, by lying)! I should have read all the negative reviews, will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.
Ordered a recliner Monday, 4/26 then turned around and cancelled it yesterday morning, 4/27. When I received my confirmation email with delivery date of SEPTEMBER 29TH - OCTOBER 7TH... Uhhhh, no thanks! I emailed asking why such a long time out, no one got back with me. Won't order from them again.
We have been a customer of Wayfair for a few years... We have never spoken with a customer service rep that has fallen below par expectations like I have with a rep name Mariah. She isn't overtly rude she is "cold"vertly insufficient. I hope you record your calls... I called twice this morning the first call the rep was very helpful but when I call back 30 minutes later I spoke with Mariah. I remember her because I have spoken with her in the past but unlike this time I didn't bother to send and email. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she provided a gloom outlook for speaking to one of a 2 hour wait minimum. I hope this message finds it's way to the right person and the call can be listened to because Mariah isn't the best example of our Wayfair experience but she's truly the worse example. Please listen to the call and judge for yourself. I remembered speaking with her in the past and I instantly recognized her name and "cold"vert approach to customer service. Feel free to contact either myself or my wife if you have any questions. We believe the phone call if you are able to retrieve speaks for itself.
If anyone speaks with Mariah run don't walk away she's not helpful and you will find my review to be spot on

I would like to provide feedback on the customer service I've received. Recently I placed an order for a rug and a chair which I didn't receive. I was told to wait a few days, which I did. I was told to check with my neighbors, which I did. I reached out to customer service a third time and was just told the items were delivered (which they weren't) and that I was most likely the victim of theft. I've since contacted the police and was told there was nothing they could do. This is after a similar issue i experienced a few months ago trying to order a couch. I was then told it was delivered, when in fact it was delivered to the building next to mine at the incorrect address. If you contract a company to deliver your items and the client doesn't receive them, why does it fall on the "victim" or client to resolve an issue to which they have no control over? At this point I'm being told there is no option for a refund, and unless the mystery thief who may or may not exist returns them to my door I've payed $400 and gone through months of miscommunication and poor service with no recourse. I thought by giving way fair a second chance and ordering with you again the experience would be better but unfortunately it has only soured my experience further. Surely there is a better option for the client who wants to shop with you but is being told they spent money with you, haven't received their items and that that is an acceptable solution. Extremely disappointed and will be sharing my poor experience on your website.
This company is unbelievable. WATCH OUT FOR WHATS IN YOUR CART! YOU GET CHARGED FOR ALL Of Whats THERE with NO NOTICE. When you PUT an item into the cart you will be billed all items there. I paid for the one item I wanted in the cart, with my own credit card. They tried to put the rest on the Wayfair card, when my Wayfair card wouldnt take they charged. An additional $ 900.00 my personal credit card. And shipped it all! I caught the bad deed, before things shipped. But I was STILL charged a $169.82 RETURN FEE!. Will NEVER do business with them again, EVER!
Ordered an outdoor matt with an "estimated delivery date." After a few days I got onto the website at 6 pm to chat with their specialist. They didn't respond until 8 am the next morning by waking me up with text after text. Waited another couple of days and finally called because after I answered back on the chat they didn't reply again. On the phone I was told that it was a holiday and that is why it was late. It isn't like they didn't know a holiday was coming and the estimated delivery time should have been factored in. That set aside it still was over a week late, not a day or two. I told them at this point I don't even want it any more. I was told that even though I still had not received it I could not cancel it. Okay, well when it does get here I want to send it back. They said I could do that but I would have to pay for shipping. I asked them what can they do because I ordered it for memorial day to finish the decorations for my porch which was now past. They said nothing. They don't do anything. No refund, no taking care of the initial shipping costs, no discount. Nothing.
So if you like to order things that may or may not be delivered that you can't return without a personal cost to you for the shipping both to you and back to the store, the Wayfare is for you.
If you want a reliable company that honors their word and has great customer service, then Wayfair is not for you.
I bought a dining set january 2021 first they canceled me for Covid I was ok next they make me way 6 more months later one year wtf I was so upset calling and only listen I'm sorry that's all them I realize they were lying me cause I got this in special and they prefer been selling on regular price and not giving me my special price I got they lie saying we are out stock now they put date for March 2022 but this et they had back in order 3 times and never send me anything I need to speak with a manager and you guys should give me someone before Christmas
Wayfair is the worst place to get furniture as their customer service is terrible, their shipping is awful, and their products are nothing special. I've been on hold for over 2hrs to get someone on the phone JUST TO GET A TRACKING NUMBER and nothing. To get the simplest of service from them is impossible. I'm starting to think their contact number is just a false number that no one is actually tasked to answer. This is a horrible business and should be taken down.
I placed an order for a stove microwave combo Wayfair took my order and money then 11 days later I was checking the tracking and it said order canceled I did not hear one single notice from them When I tried to contact them I had to do worthless chatt then text to get a phone number They said their ad was a mistake and they had to cancel it They are not a good company to buy from If price seems good it is not worth it to have to deal with a company that has very bad customer service Now I have to wait another week to get my money back into my bank account Do Not buy from them!
Ordered two appliances. One was delayed. They kept scheduling delivery but then cancelled on the delivery day. They still charged my card. When I complained, they removed the charge. They scheduled and cancelled several times but after 3 months finally delivered. I didn't notice but they never charged my card after delivery. When they tried to charge my card 3 months later the card had been replaced due to fraud. They never notified me of an issue but sent me a threatening email 6 months later. I called and provided the updated card info. They then sent me acknowledgement of the payment and that the matter was closed (thank you). 2 months later, I received notification from a collection agency saying the amount was still outstanding. Apparently, Wayfair had CREDITED my card account instead of charging, then undid the credit and sent the issue to a collection agency (dumb and dumber). I gave the collection agency the same credit card information and they cancelled the issue. However, my credit score was affected all due to Wayfair incompetence. This is the first time in 50 years I've been contacted by a collection agency. I'll never deal with Wayfair again.
I just spoke to Lakesha a customer rep with Wayfair US - the Canadain office HAS NOT responded t my requests for a refund after refusing to cancel a back ordered shipment and then shipping it to an address in the US!
Shopping with Wayfair is a pleasure. I'm so happy with the items I have purchased, and so pleased with the shipping.
Can't wait to get my next shipment. Thanks Wayfair.

I recently purchased a fire pit table for my deck. Now I had been looking at fire pit tables since last year bc I think they are just so neat. As I was browsing I saw that Wayfair was having a big sale on patio furniture so I looked and here they had the fire pit table I wanted on sale. So I brought it. I hadn't had time to open the box yet and here someone else had the same fire pit table on sale too. So I checked the price, it was $30.00 cheaper then Wayfairs sale price. Now that's a nice savings. So I contacted Wayfair and asked them if they price match, just to make things easier bc I already had the table. Their response was " no we dont price match and if you want to sent it back, it will cost you $27.80 to ship it back" well now that's one hell of a sale price if you ask me. Can u imagine a retailer having a sale and they are $30.00 ABOVE the going sale price from others. So that gives you an idea just how much of a profit they made from me. Upsetting to me for sure.
Never again will I shop there, competitive pricing, NO! Willingness to work with their customers, NO! I deleted their app and took them off my mailing list. You got me once Wayfair that's it for you.
