Horrible experience

I've had a horrible experience with Wayfair. I am a first (and last) time customer. I ordered two nightstands. One came chipped and the other was a completely different item, different color. The wrong item was huge and bulky, twice the size of the nightstand i ordered. Wayfair said i need to send back the incorrect item and was trying to get me to take it to fedex. Mind you, the items were delivered to my apartment and are huge, it took over a week of hassling them to get them to do a pickup. The new replacement that they sent came totally cracked and broken. I got in touch with them and they are making me ship back the broken item. I can only assume to re-sell the broken one to an unsuspecting customer. They also won't send me the replacement until they get back the broken one. This item sells out frequently too.

I've already hurt my back trying to get these in and out of the boxes. This has been a total nightmare. Wayfair gave me 5% off on the one chipped original nightstand, a joke. I asked for more off and they gave me a 10% your next order coupon, which is also a joke because that is what you get in flyers in the mail.

I will never order from them again. All of this is the fault of wayfair but they place the onus on me as the paying customer to do their dirty work of repackaging and dealing with this. I am so sick of the giant boxes in my tiny apartment and waiting around my house for fedex to come by. Never use wayfair!

I bought a FIRM mattress and received a soft mattress with coils that sinks just with the pressure of my hand. Either I received a different mattress or the details in the listings are lies. I have called Wayfair and they are very unresponsive, there is no supervisor available to hear my claim. They have no one available to come package the mattress and take and no one available to speak about a refund. This mattress is a scam and it is a scam to not have someone be able to package the mattress and refund the buyer. Refund me now! I have attached pictures and videos of this "firm" mattress. I am extremely annoyed! REFUND ME! I WILL NOT SPEND 20 OR MORE DOLLARS TO BUY PACKAGING WHEN IT IS YOUR FAULT! SCAMMING COMPANY

I ordered from Wayfare the first time, a small white coffee table for my living room. My handyman and I put it together. We went to slide it gently in place, and it completely collapsed. My first thought was shock, and since I was paying somebody to put it together for me I thought OK let's see if we can put it together, the screws are stripped so we glued it the next day upon thinking about it I thought oh I'll look and see what the return policy is or see if they can help sent an email to the resolution management explained my situation they requested a video which I sent then they said that I had notified them up after the 30 day of delivery return policy. I sent them another email saying I sent that within the specified time frame they requested photos of the damage. I explain to them that unfortunately my fault that I didn't take pictures at that particular time, but that we had put it together and glued it to the best of our ability, and that one side of the table was fine. The other side was still a little unsteady they said unfortunately they were unable to assist. I explain to them that I would not have spent all this time and energy, nor wasted their time if there had not been a problem, no help at all so buyer beware note the table is no longer on their website.

Good and bad

I recently joined and ordered a few things from wayfair.com. The first order that said in stock went to back order. The only issue was, I wouldn't receive it for over a month. I had to search to find this out since the back order notice did not tell me the length of time I would wait. I cancelled the item with out issue and found a similar item that was stated to be in stock and there were ten plus ready to go. On top of being in stock, the item said I would receive free 2 day shipping and get it by Thursday the same week, I placed the order, it was Monday. Well I called yesterday, Wednesday, since the order was giving me an expected shipping date for the next week. I called and the operator gave me a yes well get it taken care of, well nothing changed and so much for the 2 day shipping or maybe they don't really have it in stock. If your using wayfair.com be aware that the advertised in stock and shipping dates may be to earn business and hope you won't cancel. I'll give 2 stars since I received one order quickly and the other 2 have been questionable and customer service was no help but tonque service.

I ordered a table after my husband put it together.And it was put together right. Anyway the table wobbles. And it should not be wobbling. It's a nice table buy it should not be like this.

BUYER BEWARE VERY DECEPTIVE SELLERS

I ordered a sectional sofa from Wayfair. They were completely deceptive in their description and photos. They totally left out the part that the seating measurements were taken from the BACK of the cushion as opposed to the the front. I am a small framed person and I can not lay on my back on the seating area without my body hanging 2/3 the way off. Also there is NO CUSHION on he seat so it is completely uncomfortable. They say they have "just what you need" In my opinion they have just what you need if you need to waste money on phoney furniture. BUYER BEWARE COMPLETEL SCAM COMPANY First photo is the "ad pic" 2nd photo is what it is. Complete rip off

Wayfair is doing business with a company named Sembell LLC which is a Distribution Warehouse company. They send the packages to people's private homes which are employees of Sembell. These employees have FLEAS and BED BUGS in their homes! I received a package and opened it and found BEDBUGS in my package! I immediately threw the package out, and demanded my money back!

I have purchased multiple home furnishing items from Wayfair over the past 12 months. My very first purchase was a sofa, one I had priced locally and found on Wayfair for less than half the retail cost. When the sofa arrived, it had shipping damage. I immediately contacted Wayfair who had a team pick up the sofa the next morning and they had a new one in my house within a week. To ensure that the replacement was in good condition, they provided in home delivery at no cost. Everything was perfect and we love this fabulous sofa. Next purchase was a new king sized mattress and box spring. Another perfect delivery and excellent product. Next purchase was new hardware (drawer pulls and knobs) for the whole house. Not only was the price incredible, but the product was something I couldn't find locally. Excellent service. One of the items received was incorrect and an email to Wayfair resulted in the correct item being shipped overnight and they told me to donate the wrong item. Then, another mattress and frame for the guest room and several miscellaneous purchases of yard games and household items. I love this company and even though they aren't always the cheapest, their customer service is second to none and I will always shop Wayfair.com first.

I order 3 folding tables from Wayfair, they all arrived damaged. The told me to dispose of them and sent me 3 new tables, the next 3 tables arrived also damaged. Broken beyond use, as they are plastic with sharp broken edges. They sent me a third set of 3 tables, and gave me a 10% credit, and assured me that the new shipment would be packaged with extra packing materials, it was not, all 3 tables arrived damaged. Now they are refusing to refund me until they get approval from the third party vendor they used. They have put in 2 tickets with no response from the other company, so they ate just holding my funds at this point. These tables are 75 pounds each, I am 60 with a bad back, and they somehow expect me to rebox them and have Fedex pick them back up. Fedex does not do the boxing. I am beyond disgusted with this company, they took my money not the third party vendor, they are legally obligated to refund me for defective merchandise. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, this company needs to be shut down, they are just peddling cheap $#*! Chinese $#*!.

I had the worst experience with way fair. I ordered a king-size bed and it came with missing pieces and after they sent me the pieces the bed simple broke when I laid on it. I had to call like 7 times in order for them to return my full amount. I later ordered nightstand and it came in with the wrong pieces as well and absolutely useless. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

This company will constantly send you defective furniture. When you call to send pictures of defective item they want you to haul a sofa to Fedex to send back. Renting a uhaul and lifting a sofa is a major problem. Customer service has a horrible attitude and refuse to help beyond you sending items back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I received what I paid for but once I got the merchandise their customer service by telephone was disgusting and rude all I wanted to know was when my bill was due they said they couldn't tell me they could not verify me I called three or four times all I got was a rude rude customer service rep and the third time I was hung up on disgusting service people once they have your money they are terribly rude I will never do business with them again

I was attempting to purchase items from Wayfair.com for my new home. I kept running into the problem that none of the items could be shipped to my zip code. *NONE!* I thought that maybe those items were all out of stock, but when I changed the zip code to another place near me, all of a sudden, all the items were available. They could send the items to my daughter's address, but not mine.

I attempted to ask their chat help for the reason and *two* different chat members accused me of lying, saying that what I was seeing wasn't real. Then they lied and said it was because they didn't have anyone to ship to my area. I live close to Washington DC and they don't have any employees to deliver around *that* major city? The first cut me off and ended the chat while I was in the middle of typing an answer. When I finally provided the second person in the chat with my full address and not just the zip code they finally came right out and said that they *couldn't* send any products to my neighborhood, because it was on a "list" of places that they refuse to ship too. Implying that the place I live was NOT WHITE ENOUGH for them to risk sending furniture to my home.

I urge everyone to stop doing business with this racist company.
