I ordered a lamp. After the three week delivery period had come and gone I made a phone call to Wayfair. Where is my lamp, I asked? Oh, it seems to have been lost. Lost in transit I asked? Ummmm...no lost in the warehouse. Ummmm ok. So go find it and ship it out immediately! I mean that makes good sense right? No, we can only cancel the order and re-order it. Oh, and it will be another three and half week wait. I wanted some time to think about that, as that is a very long time to wait on top of the three weeks I'd already waited. I hung up, talked with my wife and she said go ahead and order it again. I called back to say go ahead with the re-order. Ummmm the price ahas gone up on the item and we'll have to charge you the new price (around $25 more) Well, don't charge me more I said, just charge me the original price because ummmm YOU LOST THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE IN YOUR WAREHOUSE. This went back and forth for 20-30 mins until I just got so angry I hung up. This is Wayfair customer service. I looked on amazon just to see if there was a similar lamp and guess what I found pretty much the same lamp for even cheaper than I originally paid and two day shopping. Wayfair stinks.
I've been looking for a house bar for a couple months now and like everyone I'm looking for a great deal to push me over the edge.
I found an oak beauty advertising at 73% off from just over 3k to a little under 1k. Unbelievable deal that I verified on both the main site and the app. Both were the same so i decided to finally buy one. Problem is when I went to the checkout screen the price jumped up to over $2600. Quite a difference.
I decided to call the wayfair help line and talked with a pleasant woman who was able to replicate the issue and left me on hold while she talked with her manager. After a couple of minutes I was told the last page is the final pricing page and the last to update or some such nonsense. I would've been fine with a simple it was an error and we apologize but instead a fiction was created to get out of matching their advertised price.
I've been in the retail game for a while and have never blamed the customer for my company's error. It's just bad business.
I'll not shop Wayfair again because if they can't get their pricing correct I'll not trust them with my credit card information.
So we ordered a birdbath/fountain in May, 2023. When it arrived, it came without a pump so it wasn't functional. We immediately contacted Wayfair and they told us they would get a pump out to us right away. Two weeks later we had heard nothing so we called them again. They had no record of the pump being shipped so they re-ordered it (if they ever ordered it the first time). After another two weeks of hearing nothing we called again. Our customer service person (Ashley M.) was responsive but her ability to do anything to help us was very limited. Because the manufacturer would not send a pump by itself (why did it take a month to find that out?), she offered to send out a whole new unit and then we'd have to pull out the pump and send it back. Our other option was to take a 15% refund and source the pump ourselves. We chose the latter because we had already been waiting a month. However, in the month it took them to come up with this solution, Wayfair had discounted the price of the birdbath $200. We originally paid $830 for it and now it is selling on the same sight for $630. Our discount amounted to $124. The cost of the pump was $65. Doing the math, that means we paid $761 for the birdbath. The total time we spent calling Wayfair and sourcing a pump was probably about 4 hours. That means we spent $130 more for the birdbath and 4 hours of our time than a person who orders a birdbath today and gets a complete unit shipped out within a couple of days. Does that seem fair to you? Maybe not fair – but WAYFAIR!
I will definitely never order from Wayfair again. Ordered a living room set at the beginning of February and it is March 28 I just received my living room set. They supposedly sent a living room set a month ago but got damaged in the travels. They said that I would receive my living room set in about 2 weeks if I chose to to get the living room set still. I chose to get the living room set. Well needless to say everytime I would call Wayfair about my furniture I would get a run around saying that my furniture furniture was being shipped. Then I inquired about a refund they said I would have to wait til the furniture was shipped to were ever it was supposed to be shipped to them it would have to be shipped back to them then I would get my refund. So I chose to keep the furniture. I felt like they were holding my money hostage. It's messed up when they can get there money but I can't receive my merchandise when needed. I would much rather go through a Goodwill then to order from them again. This was one of my worst experiences ever. Then when I made the appointment for my furniture to be delivered to my house which was in a Saturday the delivery driver said they called and left a message and waited 10 minutes for a call back. Which they never even called and left a message so I had to wait another 3 days for my furniture. I can't get over how terrible this was. Like I said I would much rather deal with Goodwill than to ever go through this again and for a rating I give them a negative.
THIS COMPANY OVER AND OVER HAD EMAILED WHICH STOPPED NOW SENDING ME HARASSING TEXTS ABOUT PRODUCTS THAT I AM NOT INTERESTED IN. I WENT TO THE SITE TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO NO AVAIL BECAUSE I AM NOT ON THEIR PRIORITY LIST. I WANT THE TEXTS TO "STOP" OR I AM GOING TO REPORT THE COMPANY TO THE FCC.
Bought a Couch, couch was way too little, unlike the description, asked for a return, the couch was $400, the return shipping I would have to pay was $200, so then Wayfair gave me 15% Off, now I'm stuck with a Couch I don't want.
First time ordering from this company but will be my last time they sent wrong order and they claim they sent one I ordered well there wrong but that's ok they will never get my business again and the Wayfair card will be shredded because they must be calling me a liar when they say I ordered a 16 x 12 gazebo when I say I ordered a 14 x 12 I think I should know what size I need to fit in a area only large enough for the 14 x 12 but again this is last order from this company lesson learned
I bought an open box table set from wayfair and the WHOLE set aside from two chairs got lost in shipping. So when I initially called the guy was very kind and recommended waiting a few days and if they didn't appear wayfair would send a whole new set as a replacement. I called a few days later and the woman with whom I spoke made a big deal about overriding whatever system to send out a BRAND NEW, as she repeated 7 times, set to me. I received the rest of it today and the top of the table was visibly damaged. I called to get this righted, after waiting two extra weeks without the purchased set, and I was offered a new table or 15% back. After the strife and stress; I pointed out the table they were offering was worth more than the 15% they were offering and the woman insisted that was all I was going to get "so I should just take that or the 20% in store credit." The quality is great aside from the damage to the top, but the service was subpar to say the least and their associates have an issue with empathizing with stressed and concerned customers. Not happy with my experience.
I bought two chairs. In a very good price. I found the color I wanted. It was delivered on time and the product in good condition. The wayfair app is awesome.
When calling the people are friendly and as helpful as they can be. Wayfair return policies and credit are Awful. It takes weeks to have a return credit to your account.

Hello;
Bought a chair from Wayfair as a xmas present for my son. Chair was advertised with adjustable arms and a vibration feature.
The chair that came in did not have any of these features. It is a good quality chair, but I paid more for this because of the advertised features that were not present.
Contacted Wayfair and they told me they have to research this.
I tried to return this chair with no response from Wayfair. Finally I get a response that they have revised their listing on their website, but still no answer on the incorrect product they provided. This has been over 2 weeks now and despite numerous emails and "chats" with them, I still have a chair that I did not order due to the incorrect/false advertising on their part.
Beware of the listings on Wayfair. This is the 2nd time I have dealt with them and had problems due to incorrect/false information provided in the item description.
At this point there is nothing I can do. The chair I have is NOT what I ordered and they stopped responding to me concerning a return of this incorrect product.
Stay away from this company. If something goes wrong, they are nowhere to be found and will ghost you.
I ordered furniture on October 25th. That night I get email huge sale tomorrow. My item was going on sale of course. Customer service refused to consider honoring the price. Last sale ever from me.
I purchased a toy box and it had a little chip in it. I called and they sent me a brand new one, and shipped it over night. I had it in time for the birthday party! I will definitely tell my friends.
I ordered the mulch for my toilet and it was delivered in a timely manner. The driver was very friendly. I will order more from them. I was very happy. I give it 5 stars.

Worse experience i have ever had in my life. I'm 19 year old i work 2 jobs plus an intern. I work hard for my money no help from my parent cause i only have one and they just left my package out side for someone to just steal it also damage my steps not even knock on my door no nothing. I had to wait on the phone like a hour and half just to get an answer then they gonna tell me i have to go out of my way to make a police report i hardly have time to make it home and sleep mind you i have 2 jobs plus my intern. I leave for school tomorrow back in Cape Town South Africa stood outside on my break on intern time wasted a about 2 hour 1 of those hour was waiting for someone to pick up. After my overnight job i gotta rush home to pack then back off to school. Thank you for robbing me and wasting my time wayfair cause there's Ntn fair about you guys only bad ways. I have pretty much furnished my condo with Wayfair products. (I tried to include pics with this review: the hammock-chair, tv stand, bed douvet + throw pillows, decorative flowers, bedroom curtains, and floating desk with hutch are all Wayfair). Their prices are a tad on the higher end, but they frequently have sales so I can't complain. They ship when they say they will, and the products often arrive a bit earlier than the due date (aka you aren't waiting forever for a product). Out of all the products that I have ordered, I've so far only had one piece of furniture come damaged. And the replacement process was super easy. I took a photo, sent an email, received a prompt response, and they shipped me a replacement piece in record time. The only negative comment I have is that they make it very difficult to return an unwanted item. So make sure you read the reviews on the Wayfair website to better help guarantee that the product you are ordering is the right size, the right texture, the right colour, etc etc because trying to return it just based on the fact that it "not what you expected" isn't really gonna go well for you.

A: Exact same thing happened to me as many others, the price online said. 51 per sq ft, and it said this for at least four days on both the list screen and the screen where you would place your order. When I clicked on it today to put in my order (where the list screen still said. 51/sq ft and regular price that was "discounted" was. 95, suddenly it started coming up in the cart as $5.88/sq ft. When I called to ask about it, Sadie verified she could see it being offered for. 51, but she "had to honor the price in cart." What are you honoring exactly? To use the term "honor" means you are honoring the price you have listed. Thanks for honoring that I could pay 5.37 more, I appreciate it, but no thanks. When you see you are advertising a price, you should "honor" it. She said sorry, that wouldn't help them make a profit, really she said this. I will not be doing business with Wayfair again and would advise everyone to double and triple check before you order, they may jack up the price on you at the very last second then try to convince you they are doing you a favor by charging you over 500% more.

I had ordered a patio umbrella beginning of June 2020, was expected to deliver on July 7, until July 9 I still haven't receive my order yet, so I can the customer service, they were saying the ship it out on June 28 but FedEx never scan it, so told me to wait until they contact FedEx to find out what's going on, so today I call them again on on hold for about 30 minutes in order to wait for a representative to assist me, the representative told me the item that I ordered was out of stock, so I have to wait until August 5 which it another 6 weeks to get the item, so she said I either wait or do I return, and I ask her is there something they can do for me, they said they can't do anything about that, I was very frustrating about they didn't send me any email to let me know the item I ordered was out of stock after 6 weeks, I wouldn't recommend any one order thur Wayfair at all, unless you have no other choice, horrible customer service.
