Recently I had a bad experience of online shopping at Walmart as ALL the items I had ordered online were ALL shipped to a different address and my precious time was wasted on commuting to pick up my stuff. This is because I was told that they cannot cancel the order as the items were already in transit. Upon this Walmart has charged me twice. This I found to be very annoying as this shows that this website is no longer secure for online shopping.

Also despite the fact that certain items were to be shipped free of charge by Canada Post, when I tried to speak to a customer service representative of Walmart, I was told very rudely that it's not possible to refund even a small amount and at the end said she'll try to send the excess amount they had charged to my card. As of now it has been four days since I spoke to her and this amount has not yet reached my card.

Even though the amount they owe me may be trivial, it's the trust and a customer that they've lost in this process, leave alone my precious time & cost that I lost in commutation and the inconvenience that they put me in to collect my items from some other address. They simply DO NOT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER. After this ridiculous incident, I'll never again shop with Walmart.

Buyers beware! Do not buy anything online from Walmart.ca, especially not from their third-party sellers. It has been 7 months now since I have ordered an item off Walmart.ca. I received an email saying that my item was out for shipment and should be on my doorstep by April... It never arrived. I found out by actively tracking my order that my item was re-routed and was never shipped back to me ever again. No email from Walmart or from the third-party seller to notify me of this.

Sent in several inquiries for my order or a refund with no response from Walmart or the third-party seller. I finally was allowed to connect with an online chat agent in October (7 months later after the initial order and several requests to either reship me my order or provide me a refund), and I was informed that Walmart simply can't do anything about it because I quote "it was an market place product your refund will be transfered from the vendor that's why it's taking a bit long because seller is not that quick response." "But the seller is not responding that's the reason you are waiting for so long." (verbatim what the agent told me). I was also accused by the agent for not contacting the seller, even though I have the email records to prove otherwise, and I was yelled at in caps lock by the agent. I have never received such terrible and unprofessional customer service anywhere else.

Walmart is a LARGE company and yet they can't provide something as simple as a guarantee and protection for its customers. From such a large company, you would assume that they have vetted their third-party sellers and made sure they are reputable, or at the very least be willing to provide their customers with refunds when their own third-party seller disappears off the face of this planet.

Learn from my experience. Do not buy from Walmart.ca. They don't care about protecting their customers from scams and fraudulent sellers!

I ordered a product, two XXL hoodies. First thing to happen delivery wouldn't deliver to my house. Had to drive 45 minutes just to pick up the package. When I get home and open it they sent me an XXL and a small hoodie. When I called the only solution they would give me was they would send me a package ( which I'd have to drive 45 min to get) to ship back the incorrect item and only then would they refund me. No compensation for the fuel lost which cost more then the product itself then at that point. I asked yo speak to someone else and the they refused to pass me along stating that they don't really have a return policy per-say that all they would do is send me a package to return. My husband then spoke on the phone with them and they stated to him they would escalate the call and have someone call back two weeks later still no call. Walmart ironically asked for a review on the item and they refused to post my review because of my complaint of the incorrect sizing.

Sadly this isn't the first time I've received the wrong item from Walmart.ca I ordered my husband a razor which took twice as long to come in as they said it would and received a bent metal stool in a box. My local Walmart was kind enough even though they shouldn't have took the chair and gave me a razor off the shelf.

This is ridiculous how they have no accountability.

Worst experience with Walmart Canada Online order
December 9, 2021

Hello

I ordered this item because the description says 'Set of 7 32mm Chrome Vanadium Steel Ratchet Combination'. Specifications: Material: Chrome vanadium steel, Color: Silver, Size: 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 23mm, 24mm, 27mm, 30mm, 32mm(Optional)
The picture also shows so many wrenches in the set but I received only ONE 6mm wrench in the package! No other wrenches?

Walmart supplier did not ship all the wrenches as mentioned in the description. The ad was misleading. It was a complete waste of time to purchase & return, Not satisfied at all.
Reply from supplier is just a formality, No resolution!
Worst part is when I wrote my review on my experience, Walmart kept rejecting my reviews so far 4 times, Horrible!
Won't ever buy anything Online from Walmart Canada, especially if it is a Third part supplier.

Went with my daughter to Super centre Wal Mart ( Innes Rd)and she saw a Valentine toy that has been damaged basically all ripped it was the last one they had(we did look around to see if there was another in better condition) and when we went to pay cashier, called supervisor Susan (who was standing on supervisor spot) to come and see if it possible to adjust the price. First she never said Hi or anything to greet you or smile, her facial expression was like why are you bothering /irritating me I just want to keep standing on this spot without doing anything. If it was up to me I would just walk out but my daughter wanted it so much so I stayed and got it for hardly reduced price after giving the price she was so challenging her facial and body language showed only impatience she did say "do you want it or not I really wanted to tell her xxx but didn't so she walked away no bye or thank you for shopping here or is there anything you need or smile NOTHING and just to mention I haven't had a chance to meet such a unpleasant, unprofessional and rude Wal Mart employee before. I go shop there 3 even 4 times a week and employees are real great that is my experience but having misfortune to meet SUSAN was quite off putting. She is tall, skinny, elderly with blondish hair if you see her avoid her if you can. If she doesn't like working or talking to people why was she put in that position is mystery, her interpersonal skill is NON EXISTENT. My advice is avoid her if you can I will for sure.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT BY SHOPPING ONLINE AT WALMART!

I will NEVER EVER EVER again buy from walmart online, i purchased all my christmas gifts from walmart 2 months in advance incase to have them all on time. They left me with no christmas gifts few days before christmas, they made me to contact third party which i didn't even know some of them were coming from far, all i knew i trusted walmart and i used my credit card, it's not my responsibility to deal with zimbabwe, south africa or china where items come from, anyways emails after emails, i only received one out of all the orders that got lost in transit. It's kinda hard to believe all orders got lost at the same time, i got frustrated and tired of following up my orders so i asked for refund. Promise after promise nothing happened. After several calls took me half a day i insist to talk to their supervisor, one of staff hanged up the phone, the other one put on hold at least 20 mins, finally supervisor told me i should receive my refund in about 6 days and they address me to the email for higher complain here to help. Ca. 1: Lost my time for 2 months and no gifts for christmas. 2: i have to run crazy to buy all the gifts few days left to christmas and NOW ON TOP OF IT i have to fight to get my money back. This is INSANE. I REGRET it so much that why didn't i buy all my gifts from AMAZON. No matter what walmart lost my trust as a customer. PLEASE DON'T BUY YOUR SPECIAL EVENT GIFTS FROM WALMART, YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH NOTHING IN HAND.

Ordered a $2000 swing set... Walmart had no problem taking payment but can't be bothered to ship the item... 2 shipping labels have been created but no movement... Purolator states they've had no contact from Walmart to pick up. Call Center is located in India (as per their statement) I'm now on my 11th phone call... 4 promises of supervisor callbacks that didn't happen... 3 promises of escalation team callback that didn't happen... was placed on hold for 2.5 hours to wait for a supervisor to then be hung up on... got the same agent 3 calls later who openly admitted that she doesn't have the ability to transfer me but that because I said I would hold for a supervisor she decided to just put me on hold... she then attempted the same trick during that call before hanging up on me. I've filed a complaint with the BBB but Walmart has yet to respond. I only just managed to find the Customer Experience number in Mississauga instead of the 800 number they want you to call so I guess I will spend all day tomorrow harassing them for either my money back or my swing set. So glad I bought this for my daughter's birthday on June 2nd... delivery of May 26th as promised would mean she would have had her gift in time... instead her birthday was yesterday and no swing set.

I ordered an item for my niece's birthday that was listed as "In Stock" and estimated to arrive on Fri. The item not only didn't arrive but hadn't even been shipped! Contacted them only to find out that the issue is that they don't have it in stock and can't give me an updated estimated delivery date... that's bad enough, but here's the real bad part:

They won't let me cancel the order! Their claim is that it can only be canceled within 30 min of placing the order, even though they did not live up to their end of the purchase agreement. All I can do it wait for it to ship and "refuse the delivery" and I'll be refunded when it returns to their warehouse. EXCEPT THAT IT'S NOT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, so it will just be left at my door.

My coworker had a similar experience and the item he ordered ended up not being shipped until 3 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Clearly this is not an isolated issue but a systemic problem. I will NEVER order from them again, and am warning everyone I know to avoid walmart.ca like the plague!

At first the grocery delivery was great, you would get everything you paid for. Sometimes items would be substituted and if not you would not be charged for them. But then I noticed one can of food missing from an order. Then a can of food the next order. Then the two most expensive items missing in the next order. I would email Walmart and be reimbursed. I suspect the drivers help themselves to an item or two from each order now.

But my last order was missing ALL my frozen food. I waited two hours and 20 minutes on hold with Walmart before they disconnected the line. The only reason I phoned them was because my two emails were replied to with emails saying they are too busy to reply to emails anymore and credits will appear within 3-5 business days, but no credit ever appeared.

I had to dispute with my credit card company, who said that the pending amount was higher than the posted amount, therefore I was not charged for the frozen food. With huge difficulty I explained to them, many times, that the difference between the pending amount and the posted amount is the items that are out of stock for which you are not charged. It was horrible dealing with Tangerine.

Unfortunately I had placed another order with Walmart and someone helped themselves to my water and kitty litter. Originally it would be something small, like a can of vegetables. Now they are really helping themselves. I called my credit card company only to be told I cannot dispute with them for 15 days, even though Walmart will not pick up the phone or reply to emails. If I cannot dispute then for some reason I will go to small claims court.

So not only are you paying a $10 delivery fee, you'll be out another $25 or so in stolen groceries each time with no recourse. Definitely not worth it anymore.

I have ordered thousands of things online. This was my worst experience with online ordering ever. I decided to order the TV on black Friday and do it online so I would be able to get the huge TV delivered for a 10.99 fee which sounded like a Fantastic deal And save me the hassle of finding someone to transport the 70" TV. On December 5th it says it was delivered I contacted Walmart Canada they swear up-and-down it was delivered and actually I'm lying. Then the delivery date changes to December 9th still saying delivered. I spoke to several agents by this point and received an email as well being told to contact the RCMP and report my item stolen. I have several cameras on my property and I know for 100% sure that this TV never made it to my address. They are trying to force me To call and make a report of theft in order to get a refund. I am explaining to them that you cannot report something stolen that you never had. I never had the TV, it never arrived at my address therefore no theft took place. I finally contacted the courier service as they were closed on the weekend and out it is a week day. Guess what my TV is not last. I can't believe that all of the agents I spoke to did not go further than just reading on their screen that it had been delivered. It was obviously an error. I Have now spoken to many other customers who have had the same experience. It very much ruined my Christmas spirit being worried for the past 14 days that my TV that I had saved up a $1000 for was lost or missing. Get your s h I t together and actually investigate these Sorts of incidents because I'm sure I'm not the 1st I'm not going to be the last person that has this sort of experience. The only reason you got a one is because 0 isn't available. Worst customer service. I will never ever shop online with Walmart again. I Have spent countless hours worried about where my TV was meanwhile it was safe and sound and on its way.

Crappy experience
June 10, 2021

I ordered 9 dresses and a patio set. 2 dresses were fine and of average quality. The rest were cheap, flimsy and either way too big or way too small. The items did not look like the pics by any means. I couldn't return online because the third party shipper is from china and their sku's don't match Wal-Mart's. Went to Walmart directly and they were unable to return the items for some reason. So I left with a number to call customer service. I called and the rep said to call back when I have the sku's sorted out. I called again and got another rep. First, both were hard to understand and when someone is explaining info you needit is very frustrating. He contacted the third party sellers. The third party seller basically said "Dear, it cost too much to return. No refund. Thank you for understanding." Grrrrrr I haven't even had the heart to attempt to deal with the other 3rd party seller for the restof the $#*!ty clothes. Shame on Wal-Mart... DON'T order online unless you want cheap clothes and to be ripped off.

I have been ordering from Walmart.ca online since years ago, some good some bad but they always tried to compensate or resolve the problems efficiently. However, Walmart has implemented the Schedule Grocery Delivery last year and everything went downhill! They must believe it is a nice idea to charge customer delivery fee by promising next day delivery, unfortunately, they lack the manpower and proper inventory system to do so at their individual locations. I have order many items under Schedule Grocery Delivery due to their putting many of the non-food items under Grocery delivery only. Guess what, more then half of my order never delivered, the person just dropped off items and left. No followup email nor delivery document from them until I have to check ordering email and contacted them about so many items missing. They just said they won't charge me on the missing items, no explanation no further compensation. I just don't get why they put so many non-perishable items under Grocery Delivery order only and online showing in stock but ended up no stock during delivery. How am I going to know they have no stock? They accepted my online order on Friday and never mentioned anything about no stock before and after my order online which scheduled for Monday delivery to Vancouver, more then sufficient time for them to get ready or even notify me of any not in stock items. Even Save On Foods schedule grocery delivery handed out order receipts to customers during delivery and advising customer what missing or whether any problem in person or via email before or during delivery. Extremely disappointed on Walmart and I won't order from their Schedule Grocery Delivery again. The frustration and trouble and time can't justify the price...

They deactivated my account and didn't give refund for the missing items in my online order. I was Walmart customer since 2019 until 2023. I placed online order every week or sometimes bi- weekly and spend close to $300. Recently, there was consecutive missing items in my online order. I am 100% sure the fault was from the associate who prepare my order and the the delivery driver who deliver my order. There was so many issue with uber and doordash when Walmart used this for my online delivery. Rarely, they send their Walmart driver. Walmart passed their fault and worst service to the customers and assumed that customers are not honest. Why they don't investigate and find the root cause. Why they don't hire a worker who can do the job without making repetitive mistakes. This company is worst. The problem here is with drivers who who with walmart, the third party Walmart use, uber and doordash and most of all the assoiciate who prepare the order. One time, uber just left my $250 dollars Walmart online grocery order infront of out building and didnot even call me and all the items get lost. Sometimes, half of the total items were missing. Not only happened one but multiple time. If I could put 0 zero I would, because Walmat don't deserves even 1 star.

If I could give a zero I would.
Ordered a lawnmower online for store pickup as i needed it the next day to finish my lawn as the landlord was coming over. I was informed it would be ready the next day. As my husband was driving to pick up the lawnmower i was informed it would not be available for pick up for 10 days!?
If I would have ordered delivery i would have had it in 5 days.
When i called they said there was nothing they could do. I said either refund my money or get me a lawnmower by the following morning. I said you enteted a contract with me where i agreed to give you money if you agreed to supply me with a oriduct the next day. So, i gave them money, they did not give me a priduct, yet still took my money knowing they didnt have it. That is pretty greasy, if another person did this to me it would be considered theft.
I would never again use their online anything...I will be returning the item the minute they give it to me.
They will most likely not see me spending any money in their stores anymore either.
Keep safe.
Oh yes, and when I asked to speak to a manager about returning my money, i was sent to a dead line that just kept ringing. Guaranteed they were informed to do that. Very classy
