I had an issue with payment for my pre order the representative Rimmal went ahead and cancelled my order (for which there is no more available stock) without my consent and acknowledgment, further denied cancelling my order spoke to manager Abid, he was useless couldn't do anything. And to top it off the Rimmal lied on my order said "cancelled due to customer request" when I didn't request anything. Walmart needs to keep customer service local and not India where they don't understand language, communication and have zero ability to provide customer service. Would not recommend shopping Walmart.ca

I bought 3 items by online, 2 light and small items the deliver known door to door for me, but the most heavy item Rice the deliver not door to door. Fex just give me a paper and ask me go to some where to pick up. It is too heavy and that is why I bought by online. Since this reason I called to cancel the rice staff loziini said ok, reference no *******0006-3588-0000 but she canceled the wrong item. She cancel the toilet paper. When I received the email to known she made a big mistake for me. I called again staff khalat lui said they CANNOT DO ANYTHING reference no *******9920-3588-0000. He will pass another team, the team will call me soon, but 2 days ago no one call me and follow up, In this day I also try to find some staff for help such as using the online chat, to contact staff Sujitha-TP, but still no on follow up and no call me try to fix the mistake. The mistake is made by walmart staff. My order no is **************

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE OR ANYTHING AT WALMART UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE IT WILL BE THE RIGHT ITEM. THEY ARE A SCAM. THEY ARE HELPFUL DURING THE PURCHASE PROCESS HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN THE ITEM YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! THEY TELL YOU TO CONTACT THE VENDOR WHO IS IN CHINA AND DOESNT RESPOND UNTIL THEY FEEL LIKE IT. DO NOT GET SVAMMED. ORDER FROM AMAZON OR COSTCO! WALMART IS A SCAM!

Walmart@ 5357 Fernbank Rd, Stittsville, ON K2S 0T7 What should have been a quick shopping trip turned into a nightmare due to a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. Upon entering the store, we noticed three teenage kids who were clearly loitering at the bbq / backyard section of the store; clearly not shopping. They were loud, disruptive, and, most appallingly, verbally abusive to customers walking by. I witnessed them randomly cursing at people and behaving in an utterly unacceptable manner. This went on for a significant amount of time, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment for everyone trying to shop. What made the situation even worse was the response, or rather, the lack of response, from the Walmart employees. Most of the staff I saw simply pretended as if everything was normal, walking past these unruly teenagers without taking any action whatsoever. It was as if they were either oblivious or, more concerningly, simply didn't care about the safety and comfort of their customers. To make matters worse, my wife was actually followed and harassed by one of these kids. When I became aware of this, I confronted these kids myself. After this distressing incident, we finally managed to find a floor staff member, identified as Riley, to complain about the situation. I was met with an even more shocking reaction. Instead of addressing the issue or apologizing for the disturbance, Riley astonishingly supported the disruptive kids and proceeded to treat me, the customer, badly for bringing it to their attention. This level of unprofessionalism is truly astounding and completely unacceptable. It genuinely feels like this particular Walmart location is run by young individuals who have no idea how to provide basic customer service, maintain order, or handle issues professionally. This was, without a doubt, the worst shopping experience I have ever had and worse, we felt unsafe. I strongly advise anyone considering visiting this Walmart to think twice.

Thought I would go to this Walmart since I needed to shop at a few more stores. More convenient for me since I have a herniated disc. I thought this would be an easy outing for me but it was a disaster just because of the locking carts. I couldn't enter the mall and the wheels locked up 1/2 way down the walkway. I was alone. My groceries were not in bags. I had to go to one exit then the wheels locked. The employee said I had to go out the other exit to the parking lot and would help me get the cart back into the store yo unlock the wheels whivh he never did. So much walking in my condition. Then the wheels locked again outside. I had to pull and drag the cart to my car. Once I got to my car I had to ditch the cart cause I couldn't drag it anymore do I lost my loonie. I was in so much pain by this point and ive been off work for months. Just by the ordeal with the cart all my injuries had flared up and in major pain. TAKE THE LOCKS OFF THE CARTS! I will never go back to the Scottsdale Mall at the Delta location again

We order an accordion door when we received the package the box was broken on delivery. When we opened the product it was broken in two places. We have called Walmart Canada 4 times in the last 2 weeks only to be told that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hrs and that it has been sent to the escalation team. Is there actually an escalation team? No help has been given to resolve the issue no contact has been made by the escalation team. Walmart sold me garbage and will not return my money. Never order from Walmart.ca!

Let me start by saying—I've been a lifelong Walmart shopper. They've always been my go-to. But after my recent experience? Never again. So, here's the story: I wanted a Breville espresso machine. I knew exactly which model I wanted, did my research, and found that Walmart was selling it for $20 less than the competition—$866 after tax. Sweet deal, right? Wrong. I ordered it, expecting a brand-new machine to be shipped to my doorstep. The delivery was delayed by a day, and unfortunately, I had to leave for a 31-day work trip. When I finally got back home, I saw the package sitting there—except, instead of a Walmart box, it was a Home Depot box. Yeah, that was red flag #1. I opened it up and boom—used, dirty, scuffed, and covered in clear tape with sticky residue all over it. Not exactly what you expect when dropping nearly $900. Shocked, I called Walmart's customer service, expecting some level of accountability. Instead, I got this: "Oh, that was sold by a third-party seller." "It actually says in small letters that it's used." "You're past the 30-day return period." "There's nothing we can do." Excuse me?! So, let's break this down: Why You Should NEVER Buy from Walmart Online You're Not Actually Buying from Walmart. You're buying from some random third-party seller while Walmart plays middleman. They Don't Take Responsibility. Unlike Amazon, which has stellar customer service, Walmart washes its hands clean if anything goes wrong. The "Used" Label is Practically Hidden. They don't put it in big, bold letters where a normal human would see it. Instead, it's buried in the fine print like they're trying to trick you. They Will Let You Eat the Loss. After escalating my complaint, I got a call five days later saying, "Yeah, sorry, nothing we can do. Enjoy your dirty espresso machine." So basically, Walmart Online is like Facebook Marketplace, but with a corporate logo slapped on it. They take zero accountability, hide important details, and if you get scammed? That's on you. Consider this a PSA: If you're thinking of buying from Walmart Online—DON'T. Amazon might cost $20 more, but at least you won't end up with a broken-down machine that looks like it was last used in a gas station break room. Walmart, do better. Or don't. Either way, I won't be back. Spread the word. 🚨

After employees in there chat when I had no option in my account to cancel delivery pass with 24 hours notice I was told had to wait till renewal date. So I did and no option appeared another chat and was told had to wait till next renewal. Was lied to and Walmart chat employees are trained by Walmart to lie to customers to get another month paid for delivery pass as I told the first guy that was moving wouldn't be in the city to even use it high he lied to me. I tried to escalate it and the provide wrong email addresses and or invalid ones so no one can complain. I escalated to bbb complaint but executives acted like 2 year olds having a temper tantrum and in the mine mine mine phase: they only replied with a reference number. I reject S the response due to only replied with a reference number another reference number. These executives need to grow up and stop acting like 2 year olds having a mine mine mine temper tantrum. Walmart is nothing mor than an Eric an company trying to scam Canadians act like 2 year olds never work with them and lie to customers in Canada to take the money they scam from Canadians and retreat with it south of the border. We don't need that here. In Canada we respect each other. Don't respect this business from the lies the run around and the childish thing at they treat people. Why don't you go and try that on the people in the states. Am sure your be president will love that.

Terrible company who's online shopping needs to be completely rewritin. Multiple botched orders and the last one was my daughters birthday gift that took over a month longer to get here than was suppost to and when arrived it wasn't even the write thing. Highly overpriced just to ruin the order. Happens WAY TO OFTEN. Officially done with jokemart.

Very unreliable

I am from California, I ordered online at Walmart Canada last Dec 20,2024 to get a gift for a relative living in Saskatoon Canada, but until now they have not received the item.
I contacted the customer service when they sent me an email that my order is delivered to confirm that the item is not received. I was asked to wait up to 72 hours for the call but no call received, I gave them week before I made another follow up, they ask me again for another 72 hours to wait for the call but again no call is received. I made a call for the third time today to track my order and still no concrete answer is given to me and again was asked to wait for 72 hours for their call. This is supposed to be a Christmas gift, it is very frustrating and truly unacceptable service they have. It is completely unorganized. Very unreliable, will never trust to order from here again!

***Im trying to date my review on 12/20/2024 when I placed my order but its not accepting so I'm putting today's date

Walmart is a joke 😂 I don't know what may cause a person to buy something from them. Recently, I purchased sth online, and they gave me a "fake" tracking number, which was regarding some random item of some random person living in some random place. Just crazy. Avoid for your mental health.

On Tuesday, December 17th, the 24 pack Great Value original wieners were purchased at the Walmart in Dufferin Mall (900 Dufferin Street) in Toronto. I have eaten wieners of different brands and types over the decades and the ones bought in Walmart were the most atrocious tasting ones by far. I do not know if it is just that pack but it would better that people do not buy them. I have talked to various Walmart employees about different issues, over the decades and found no help; in fact the impression I got that they do not care. There is no email address I could find on the website.

I had similar problems as others. I was told more than once that someone would call me back in 24 hours. No one did and that was weeks ago. It is totally Walmart's fault about problems with their computer system. I had called Walmart. A recording included asking if senior or disabled to press 1 (which I did.) I am both and am housebound. They knew or should have known the general type of person they would be handling (but I think they do not care.)

I placed an order online via the walmart.ca website for a DVD boxset costing $44.99 plus $1.00 shipping plus HST as I am in Ontario Canada. This made the total I paid $51.84. This was purchased from a third party seller on their website but was returnable at any Walmart store.

Upon receipt of the item, one of the DVD's had a massive crack through it, so I returned it at a local Walmart where they were only willing to refund me the $44.99 plus the $1 shipping fee, hence my refund is only $45.99 of the $51.84 that I paid. Walmart is keeping the HST on the returned item as profit. This is the 2nd time they have done this to me and enough is enough. Both times they did this - I called their "customer service" who said they would escalate the matter, then they did nothing. This is not about the remaining $5.85 they owe me from this return for damaged merchandise, this is blatant theft. I will be filing a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau as well as through the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Protection, this company is disgusting. Buyer beware.

Avoiding the customer

I recently purchased an expensive piece of electronics and accessories from Walmart online (CanadaShop). They package arrived and did not include all of the items in the order. Worse, the accessories that were included did not fit together. After several emails and time tracking down what to do, I decided to return everything for a full refund. Apart from taking a long time to get a refund, Walmart charged a restocking fee in excess of $100.00. I've been trying to reach out by email and get the same answer returned to me. I asked to be provided with a contact and means of contact to escalate the issue and still get the same email. I called an tolefree number and the moment I used the word dispute in the conversation, the line went dead. Walmart is a high risk business to deal with online. I recommend you look elsewhere first. If I could give a lesser rating, I would. Extremely disappointed.

Garbage customer service

Customer service would be able to convince some old person not technically savvy with their response for the rest of us they are absolutely clueless. If they find your online issue slightly difficult they waste your time hoping you get tired and hang up or they put you on hold for an inordinately long time.

Stay Away from their electronics! I bought a Sandisk SD card from Walmart September 21 2024. I put the SD card on my camera and it was not reading. I returned the SD card to Walmart the morning of September 22. Literally less than 24 hours later and they informed me they cannot accept opened electronic devices. I wonder what kind of policy this is! I asked for the manager and asked her How do I get to know something is working unless I open it? After going back and forth with the supervisor because the manager had to rush for a meeting, I finally got approval for an exchange. Stay away from buying any electronics from Walmart because once you open it, as the manager and associates informed me, Walmart does not accept returns on opened electronics. So even if you buy something and it's defective, once you open that box, the loss is on you. If you care about your time and money stay away from their electronic products. The walmart I am talking about is 1045 Wellington Road London On.

Ordered an induction stove,it was delayed for almost 10 days finally when it arrived I picked it up at customer service.Opened it right away as I needed it now.Upon opening it just to find the glass top was shattered returned back to Walmart and got my refund (went to Canadian Tire and bought a new one it was 50$ more but worth it beware when ordering online I will never order online again

NEVER AGAIN

Placed an order & was to be delivered 2 days later. Order was delivered, but to wrong address ( delivered to same address, but West rather than East) contacted both Walmart & FedEx (delivery company used) both told me that case was escalated. 3 days later somebody else signed into my Walmart account & made a purchase & changed delivery address to their address. Reported this to Walmart & to my financial institution. Recieved a call later that day from delivery driver & told him purchase was fraudulent and NOT to deliver, but to return item to Walmart. Then recieved text from same driver and again told him that it was a fraudulent purchase & to NOT deliver,but to return it to Walmart. Was told okay, no problem, but delivered it anyways. I'm now out almost $400, my bank account has been closed & I cannot even access my own funds & all I am being told by Walmart is that my cases are escalated and all I can do is wait.
