Their marketplace is awful, unlike Amazon, Walmart takes no accountability whatsoever for their third party sellers...my package was 3 weeks late, no one could tell me where it was, hidden fees caused it to be way more expensive than advertised price, packaged arrived opened, mangled and damaged, trying to return it was impossible. Worse customer service I've ever experienced. Walmart, go back to the basics, you'll never be Amazon.
Ordered over a month ago, package was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago but it still isn't here. The tracking doesn't work (code keeps popping up as invalid) so I have no idea where the package is, reached out to both walmart and the shipping company and haven't received a response from either. Website doesn't even have a clear way to ask for a refund/new package for non grocery items
Was on the phone with customer service for over an hour, neither of us could hear each other properly and I was eventually hung up on and sent to a survey to rate them.
Hopefully I can sort something out with my bank instead because it was a pretty expensive mistake to order here, if you came across this site because the same thing happened to you I'd suggest doing the same because your package likely isn't coming
I made a Christmas order in October and still haven't received one of the items and it is December. For such a large company customer service is atrocious. I have to chase them around for my money or order because they will not reach out to me. I will stick with Amazon or Toys "R" Us because I've never had this problem anywhere else.
So bad placed my order over month ago and still nothing. They keep send me to the 1800 # saying wait 3 business days I am sick of this bs and feel I should get some money back. I have spent so much money with Walmart. First and last order with them
I ordered an item from the online Walmart Canada store. It was supposed to have been delivered last week, but still has not arrived. Upon contacting Walmart they tell me its a third party seller and they will be in contact with them. I get a false tracking number for Canada Post, then they tell me their message to the third party seller went astray. I ask for a full refund and in chat they tell me it will be processed. However the confirmation email only says that the seller will contact me in one business day. I opened a dispute with Paypal. Customer service is atrocious and the whole affair is a complete waste of time. I will not be shopping online at Walmart again
Purchased $2800 Swing/Activity Set on May 13. It was delivered by a rude courier from Day and Ross on June 1st. He dropped the skid off just inside garage and took off. Didn't check anything, didn't ask us to sign anything On Saturday June 5th the contractor I hired and paid $300 for the day to put this activity set up tells me I only received 6 out of 7 boxes. The box we are missing is hardware (nuts and bolts) Contact WalMart customer service was told "Delivery is incomplete and to return it. It came on a transport truck... lol Called back to have an escalation ticket made up. Was told it would take max 3 business days and it's now 4 Still waiting for a response. So far I have been getting the run away. The activity set is just rotting on the ground in the backyard now WalMart and Day and Ross have failed to deliver on their promise
walmart.ca is limited compared to its american version of walmart.com. Also gift cards cannot yet be used online. Apart from that my online order went smoothly and received good quality item for good money value. Hoping they change thir site to allow walmart.ca giftcards!
Looks very good but the corners has sharp edge. All south shore products can be ordered directly from the company. Cheaper price and free shipping. Walmart price is higher plus the delivery was horrible. Left very heavy packages on the driveway without ringing the bell. Had to take it personally inside the garage. Ordered the full bedroom set for a higher price and lousy service. Complained to Walmart many times but not resolved yet about the pricing or the way they delivered.
This website has basically everything you could possibly imagine. Quality of the items sold changes drastically by price. They only thing I would not recommend is the cheaper furniture that does not come pre-assembled. This is a bad choice because the quality is so low that it makes the item almost impossible to put together. I had bought a dress once, and it was literally backed by a sheet of cardboard like material that fell apart almost instantly.
I like buying, walking around at walmart. Indeed in this pandemic it has been the only place that relaxes my mind.
Unfortunately, recently I noticed when
U go pay at cashier they tend to keep some stuff. I get home, notice something was missing.and went back and they said I forgot it but the cashier was the one putting everything in the plastic bag. This happens twice in the same month
My only complaints about Walmart are about the limited variety of food selections available.
I am often a "Brand-Name" shopper. I also frequently buy frozen fruits and vegetables. I purchase many varieties of these things. Walmart rarely has the types of these frozen foods I like,(I like veggies with stir-fry things, including water chestnuts and Chinese Snow Peas.) I cannot find them here. I am displeased that if I go to Walmart for the cheap prices, I am only able to purchase less than half of the things on my shopping list. Then I have to go to a different store. It irritates me. However, the clothes available there are adequate.
Huma took the time to help me and provided with an outstanding customer service that I never experienced at Walmart in Moncton. People like that need recognition as they are the most devoted employees any company would benefit from.
So yesterday I picked up my online groceries from Walmart Store 3009 Westbrook. Sush was the staff who attended the phone and brought the groceries out for me. On answering the phone to putting the stuff in my car he was an awesome person who communicated explained the procedure of the online ordering. I would recommend him a raise for this. I also have been ordering online stuff regularly every month but the phone calls are poor I should say. Managers should emphasize more on quality and deliverance for customer satisfaction. Sush communication was excellent and above all from other experiences. 5 star to him.
Ordered online chest freezer. Delivery showed up with only ONE person to deliver. Finally got in house damaged with 2 huge dents. Called immediately and had to send pictures of damage. They said will respond in 48 hours no onexresponded 2 days later called and escalated waited again. Our of the blue no emails no calls the truck pulls in refuses to take as not wrapped in original way dropped off. R U KIDDING ME Called again wrapped it in boxes and taped back up. Escalated again 2 days no calls no emails... called again. So frustrated FREEZER STILL HERE WAITING PICK UP NOW 12 DAYS! NEVER ORDER ONLINE if you csnt carry it back!
At your store in northgate edmonton, rudest people in all of canada. No carts, no riding carts for the disabled. They just looked on and did nothing while we cried in pain cannot shop without a car. You have no consideration for the disabled. Tried to complain. Your people would not even pick up the phone. Hundreds of carts out in the parking lot, but employees too lazy to bother to even go out there and get them. They did not even try to help or sympathize\your disability policy\i would say constitutes harassment which is now considered to be a tort by the supreme court and the courts of canada.\ you should not be doing =business in canada with so little regard for the elderly and for the disabled.\i think this is very hard to understand. Why are you not having reviews on your sites when other businesses do have reviews.\

I have placed an online order 2 days ago. The postal code in the delivery address appeared wrong and I had to call their customer service. I was advised that nothing can be done 30 minutes after the order was placed, but to email the third party vendor who was a seller, with the request to cancel the order.
And that is when it all started, it is a too long story. First I got overcharged by 2$,than refunded that and then charged again the full amount; all of it on the same day. Calling the Customer service, waiting and then being cut off... and being told again to wait another 48 hrs for the refund. Not a good experience! I do not think I will order online from Walmart again and would not recommend that to anybody!
They sent a damaged item. Sent the photos twice via email. CS is giving a run-around. Asking to talk to a Supervisor to escalate. I was told they cannot patch me to the Supervisor unless the photos were sent. I sent it again and when they are trying to connect me, they hunged up. Called back and same routine. Customer service got Indian heavy accent and hard to understand. Gets frustrated when you want to repeat what they said. No wonder walmart is getting lowest review. You lost another customer in me.
I walked to Walmart in North Edmonton to purchase the Ufile tax software that was noted on sale on their website. The store employees had no idea what I was talking about and stated that they did not have the product.
I bought two electric scooters through Walmart online and paid for fast/2-days shipping. However, after two weeks back and forth with very unprofessional and rude, Walmart's customer service just received one of the scooters.
After that, they took 20 days and had to call ten times to get my money back for the second scooter that I paid, and they never sent it.
The funny thing is they not allowing me to post a review about my experience, and they replied this:

Answer: They appeared to have a patio table to fit on our balcony. The delivered item was a bigger size which did not fit. We have been unable to return it although we cannot use it and it us bigger than advertised.
