Refused to honor a WALGREEN gift card, to me as xmas gift. Card was never used and a call to corporate confirmed that; it was still valid... just "frozen pending gift card department review"; said another way, we have closed the card and suspended it from use [even though card never used]. The advertise, even today, that walgreens cards NEVER Expire or GO bad. What they really do is freeze them after a couple of years if not used. THIS misbehavior allows corporate to take the liability off their books. How many thousands of people have been ripped off this way? BEWARE DO NOT BUY OR GIVE WALGREENS GIFT CARDS; AND IF YOU DO, USE THEM IMMEDIATELY OR WALGREENS WILL CLOSE THEM OUT, KIND OF LIKE STEALING FROM YOUR WALLET OR PURSE, EH?

Nice to look up ad then download coupons from site to card! They dont put the ad in the newspaper anymore, so it has become necessary to navigate the site!

I put in my order on Sunday, 2/19/17. By Friday I still never heard anything about my order with the exception of one email confirmation from the first day that they had received my order. I called them on Friday on my lunch break to find out the issue. They claimed they had called and emailed my doctor but got no response. I asked what number they were using & they told me my cell phone number. That was bull because I never received any calls or email from them. I gave them the correct number & told them to call my doctor immediately before they close for the day. Today is Wednesday, March 1st and they still haven't processed my order! I called this morning to find out what the deal was. They said they have been faxing & calling my doctor with no response. I called my doctor immediately & asked if they received any calls, emails, or faxes from VisionDirect & they said no, they didn't. I called VisionDirect back & told them I wanted them to call my doctor immediately while I hold the line. She said she can't make outgoing calls. I said I want to speak to your manager now. She said there is no manager available now, but I can submit a ticket for one to get in touch with you within 24 hours. I said, no, that's not acceptable! Cancel my order! I have had enough! This is ridiculous! Nobody should be lied to and given the run around just to get a better price!? I would never recommend them to ANYBODY! Horrible service!
When you have a raincheck from Wallgreens and coupons to match, you should be able to use them but here on Mobile Hwy & Fairfeild dr in Pensacola Florida the Mgr says we can't take these coupons with this raincheck too I just looked at her like lady please. This store is the only one that always have some type of BS to tell you I just don't get it what is it? These coupons are from the news paper not printed from a computer help me out here

Walgreens has gone downhill since COVID and I will never use them. Many of their pharmacies have a single drive-through lane. Some manager thinks it's a good idea for the people to sit in line for an hour waiting for four COVID testers in front of them. It doesn't matter to Walgreens that I am disabled and cannot go into the store. Curb pickup is a big joke. They don't have enough employees to run the store.
The most recent experience is most horrid. I have filled a prescription twice and they have canceled it twice and not notified me of anything other than confirmation of request and I needed to wait because they were out of the stock. Who runs out of synthroid? It is a basic Rx that many people use. The first time I used the website to fill the prescription. A week later there's still no medication and they've completely canceled the prescription refill. I call on the phone and I asked them to fill the prescription and mail it to me as I requested in the beginning. No prescription, the girl didn't even enter the refill. It's just sitting out there in limbo waiting for me to refill it at a different pharmacy. Trust me I will never use Walgreens again. I had already moved the majority of my medications to an online pharmacy because of bad service. I am very happy with them and I will use Walmart for emergency medications. Walgreens no longer stocks basic medications. Sad, I used to use them all the time. They're just at the end of my street. They have overcharged
Medicare and force multiple store visits to fill one Rx.
If you don't have insurance I would not buy any Rx from Walgreens. Look for a local pharmacy or online one instead. Also, it doesn't offer free antibiotics like Publix.
I've used Drugstore.com for 20 years with great service and selection. Walgreens has bought them now, but they are still just as good. You can trust this company.
