I strongly advise against using Vestiaire Collective! I purchased a pair of Chanel sandals via their platform from a seller located in Malaysia, and upon receipt, I discovered a hidden defect on the product. However, it is impossible to detect this type of defect in just 72 hours, the deadline imposed by Vestiaire Collective for returning a product. Not only is customer service non-existent, but they completely absolve themselves of their responsibility by arguing that after this period, no action is possible, especially for items coming from abroad. How can you assess a hidden defect on a luxury item in just 72 hours? This return policy is simply absurd and only protects the seller, leaving the buyer with no recourse!
After trying to contact them several times, I only received a standard email with no concrete solution to my problem. This is a complete lack of respect for customers. Vestiaire Collective presents itself as a trusted site, but at the slightest problem, they are absent subscribers. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by this lack of communication and by their policy which does not protect buyers in any way. If you are looking for responsive customer service and effective protection during your purchases, avoid this site!
I show pics of my items. My items are authentic yet some still go to be inspected and some don't. There is no rhyme or reason why some of and some don't. Last time one got sent back it me for a loose thread and I say very tiny loose thread that could have been simply cut off. It was new with tags. I'm happy it did get sent back because I sold it elsewhere for double.
The way I've been treated with customer service is outrageous., so to ask if I'm happy with VC, just read the customer service messages on here.

Hi I am a seller at VC but I got deactivated because apparently I don't sell Louis Vuitton or Chanel. Is that what your policy is when sellers come onboard? You de-activate them? I never heard of a platform that deactivates and blames sellers for not selling enough. What kind of a company are you?
I have been selling on Vestiaire Collective for 3 years, all of a sudden I get an email from them saying that I barely sell and to knock on their door when I have Louis Vuitton or Chanel to sell?
If I am not selling enough that's because your marketing team is not bringing enough traffic to your site.
Ebay, Amazon, Poshmark, Grailed, Vinted I have been selling with them for years, not once have they deactivated my account because I don't "sell enough". All these platforms Ive mentioned above work with the sellers in order to be successful in selling.
All Vestiaire Collective did was degrade me as a seller and blame me. Are you kidding me?
On top on that you claim you are all for the environment and you stopped selling pre-owned items from Zara and H&M because they do alot of waste...

You dragged out my sale for over four months, and when I finally got my purse back, it was in terrible condition due to your carelessness. To make matters worse, after all that time, you had the nerve to call it a sale and insulted me with a mere $25 payout. I've never been treated so poorly by any company before. Your customer service was not just unhelpful—it was downright dismissive and incompetent at every step. This has been an absolute disaster from start to finish.
